This list was put in Newtype a while ago. I stumbled onto it again and thought it would be fun to put it up for people to discuss.

This is the top 25 as voted by the readers of Newtype. This is what everyone has said is the best.

Ohh its was a poll..ok...I thought it was an article or something..My bad..but still i question said poll...Where da Champloo at?..Where the..ok really I'm done....but Some of those dont belong..because there are many anime's that are amazing..but since you never saw it on TV its ignored..=(..oh well..like I said..i will post later

I agree with most of this list, but I have not seen some of the anime it has mentioned.

I agree with it too..kinda..since I have seen everything on that list...but some I just dont think belong up there*coughINUYASHAcough*..but its a poll so I really dont care..lol

The readers of Newtype are complete idiots. What makes them fail even more is that they didn't even mention any Gundam series outside of SEED (which is not bad, but not nearly as good as the others in the series). The term Newtype comes from the orginal Gundam!

I strongly disagree with that list, in fact I hate it.

*dies* Fandom goes way too far. >_> There isn't any really good animation and/or art and/or storylines in this list. Certainly not "for all time," either.

Yeah, several hundred people voted and said those are the best in that order. My top 10 would have to be:

1. Cowboy Bebop
2. Neon Genesis Evangelion
3. Tenchi Muyo
4. FLCL
5. Trigun
6. Naruto
7. Yu Yu Hakusho
8. Gundam Series in general (Gundam Wing, 08th MS Teams, etc. I'd have to make a totally different list just for Gundam lol.)
9. Hellsing
10. Full Metal Panic!

The list is referring to current times. Most people in the US usually only watch anime that appears on their TV. This list of mine is based on my current tastes. It will change quite soon I am sure. My anime tastes constantly changes.

EDIT: If you want explanations for each, I can give them to you.

4. Ouran High School Host Club
5. Tactics
6. Kino no Tabi (Kino's Journey)
7. Fullmetal Alchemist
8. Fullmetal Panic! (Fumoffu and Second Raid :P)
9. Samurai Champloo (If I watched more episodes I'd like it more :P)

Being a person who looks at every detail, animation is crucial for me. That's probably why Kyo-Ani's best works are all up there. :O

^^Hmm..Your list is very nice..but I wanted to check out AIR cuz I really thought it was beatiful...can I find it on Youtube?..and I Host club...I just dont like the character designs...is all

Yep, you'll probably find most, if not all, episodes up on Youtube.

Host Club anime's design is half the reason why I took it up... XD

Fushigi Yugi's animation is pretty good, considering it came out in '96. Air is beautifully done, but the plot isn't wonderful. First season of Full Metal Panic! had its moments, but TSR made up for that. I've only seen the first two episodes of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, but it's looking good.

Full Moon wo Sagashite should definately be one of the top animes, though.
