So I will post this as a debate so I can view both sides of the arguement) This time, we're discussing genetic engineering. I am on the judicial group but the case is a large ethical problem. I am against genetic engineering and cloning because of various ethical issues and it's just not right. People who say that it will enhance human nature are just toying with what nature has given us.

First off, Akuma, what are your core values? In a defined sense, what is "Wrong" and what is "right" in this debate?

And if you truly believe that tampering with nature's gifts and creating artificial life is wrong, then you are like me. If you find no moral objection to it, then you are for genetic engineering.

We even have the capability to destroy countries with a single press of a button but we shouldn't. As humans (with intellect) we are given that ability. But does that mean we must abuse it?
