I just whacked it to death XD

But it really does a lot more damage as it gets more damaged.

I usually don't try so much. Because some of the marks have rare stealables for the bazaar that's hard to find otherwise.

I always end up killing the one that spawns in Barheim as one of the first, though, since it spawns while I'm making my way to the West Annex.

I think not trying is just as good, in the end xD. The one I got first (the Binding Mantis? or something similar) in the Golmore is only between certain minutes, I believe, and I happened to walk in at the right time :'D so I was happy

    until it killed me ._.

Lol. Better than Disma, which is not even a one time mark. I was having fun smashing away at all those skeletons before that zombie sorceror taking about 200 damage from Zodiac Spear chased me all the way back to the entrance of the part of Lhusu Mines I started from.

No. It has so much hp and takes so little damage. The fact that you can take out half his hp at the start with no problem at all is probably just his way of mocking you. Once he starts getting to low hp he starts taking less and less and less from everything you hit to him and his attack CT starts getting less and less at all until he seems as though he's perma-lunging you.

I think it was immune to sap.

As for expose, I hardly use it. I just knew that I underestimated it early when I began dealing craploads of damage. Then the 6999 damage cap kicked in. Then I couldn't even hit the 6999. The next thing I knew I was chased out with only Balthier left alive, because I dumped bubble belt on him.

But I use that word loosely.

I thought the cap was 9999?

Either that, or I haven't played in awhile.

Even if I did want to play again, I'd want to solo the whole game. It's way easy.

The only way to get back is to complete the sidequest in that village on the river, where you have to get the woman all the ingredients she asks for. After that, the Bangaa boss (that the Seeq talks about when you come out of the Barheim Passage originally) comes out, and gives you a key for a back way into the passage.

Ohhhhhhh. So that's where he was. Where is the 'Broken Sands' anyway? That's where I gotta get the next ingredient. Is it on the north bank? 'Cause it's too hard for me over there right now.. I'm almost strong enough though I should think.

EDIT: I just met Al-Cid for the first time, and the quote in your sig makes sense now. Lmao.

    lol Al-Cid is win.

Also, Broken Sands are one section down from the south entrance into the Mosphoran Highwaste. I think the Wyrm's Nest in the Westersand connects to the section to the south of the ncessary section for the next item, too. Just walk really close to the crevice in the ground, and next to the trees sticking out, and you can get two of the item from them.
