After looking around a bit, I found this:

Your best bet is to head up to Molberry and do all of the little matching
quests there. A total of nine of them exist in that area, and since the two
people are ALWAYS in the same area, you won't have to go anywhere else.

Couldn't find a map though. This should work ^^

There are a total of 28 Pinewood Chops. When you get all 28, you can redeem them for 1 Sandalwood Chop, which gives you access to a part of the city for the Cockatrice quest. If you wanna just finish the thing, definitely head for Molberry. Things should be pretty apparent there, so you can go get 9, which is enough to continue on with the story.

I just defeated Diablos. Really easy fight for a Rank VII or VI fight. Low health too. Pailing at the end was ended by multiple Scathe attacks. Now I'm off to fight Deathgaze and possibly Behemoth King.

Im gonna do some hunts before i start the boss of golmore jungle. . .

My whole party averages level 25 right now. Most licenses unlocked, all spells learned, all quickenings, best armor and weapons available, most hunts completed.

Yeah, its one of the highest clan ranks but there are three more of a higher rank "High Guardian", "Knight of the Round", and "Order of Ambrosia".

I'm the 4th highest rank o.0 I only have 3 espers, I've only just beaten Cid in Archades. Seems like taking it slow is paying off.

It does pay off, it definetly does. I'm Knight of the Round at the moment, but I haven't played in a bit, due to having a bit more work than usual at school. Last thing I did was kill Diabolos.
