This game is reminding me more of... it's like a mixture of VII, VIII, and IX. I love how they brought back the still portrait backgrounds for towns/environments/etc. I keep visualizing that there will be shiny arrows near doors lol.

You're spot on correct lol. That's definitely what it says under those characters. Although I wonder why they didn't reveal their names yet. In the screenshot on the left, it mentions "unknown adj woman"; it definitely doesn't look like 白の魔道士. Originally Posted by .Oji

I don't really know much about this game, but what I've seen so far about it really has me hooked! I really want this game now! Now I've heard it's a sequel or something to a previous DS game. So does that mean I have to beat that one first to understand what's going on or will it be like FF where each game is different? The artwork looks so amazing and there's something just so nostalgic about the whole vibe and theme of the game! Another great reason to get a 3DS!
