Well it was said Winter 2011 for the Japanese one, which would be the end of the year... It seems odd that the NA one has the same thing, though. I mean, "Next Winter" does mean December-February, so... Very quick localization, or a worldwide simultaneous release.

EDIT: Okay after reading some things...i got a better grasp of what is going on.

So Buniberzei defeated his mother Muin and took over the world while Muin went to the invinsible world.

The world was destined to die so he had to find his mother that's why he created fal’Cie Pulse then he created Etro and then the fal’Cie Lindzei.

Some more thing blah blah etc.

After reading it i think that Etro or Muin is summoning Lightning for some reason. I think i am on the right track.

I think I'm gonna miss the Blazefire Saber...but even still the new Gunblade looks like it'll grow on me.
I know it's to early to tell, but I feel as if the original cast, bar Lightning won't be as important. Maybe it's just a pessimistic thought in my brain. But also in my brain are thoughts of what we'll get for the battle system and how they'll get magic back. Like I can see inputing certain commands in the queue would change them. and a "Shoot" command for Lightning so she could mix up Sword slashes at gunshots at will.

Ok so Time was mentioned three times in that beginning speech, and the word was really focused upon.

I know 'Time Travel' sounds ridiculous, but it's really not, so long as it's handled correctly, which FF has done before sorta with FFX.

Well my prediction, and I realise I am not alone in this, is that Lightning gets lost in a Timeless dimension, and comes out earlier in Pulse's history. I think it would be really interesting to see Pulse remodelled so that the ruins of FFXIII became the towns and cities of the past. And it would still be a sequel, as it is set later in Lightning's timeline.

We shall see, I think it could be interesting.

Anyways, this is dimension traveling. Light is in a place where times does not move...I think it might be the Afterlife where Etro ruled.
