Does anyone remember when XIII was a month or two from release and Squeenix didn't want people thinking Lightning was "the" main character...
I think they kind of ruined that, by showing a trailer with just Lightning and some new guy in the sequel.
XP I just hope that all the other's make it in, oh and Dajh should be a playable character??!! I kid, I kid... or do I??? O.o

Light looks to be the same age as she is upon the story completion of XIII, which would mean Dajh is still 4, so... I really can't see him becoming playable unless there are time leaps. I'm actually somewhat starting to like the idea of this possibly showing the phases Buniberzei went through when trying to destroy Muin; the destruction of Etro would be something worth having a visualization of, as well. The only thing is, that would mean everything would have to happen after her destruction, because it was only she that brought humans and other creatures into existence.

Now that is creepy, I wouldn't be surprised if it was Raines. Both Lightning and Raines were very similar in terms of how they thought.

And I still can't believe that Etros, Lindzei, and Hallow Pulse are Fal'Cie. I always thought they were the true gods of the FFXIII world but I guess that's wrong. This is going to be an interesting story.

It does look like him though, and his outfit is more memorable.

Plus Cid had a criminally unexplored story in FFXIII. You got to see so littl,e but you know the intention was that there would be so much more.

Having said that, if it was Cid, someone would have said.

Scans of Shonen Jump are circulating and sure enough there’s a small feature on Final Fantasy XIII-2. The magazine has the same picture of Lightning in her new armor with white feathers fluttering by.
There’s also a portrait of Lightning with the following quote, in English, underneath. It reads, "In the world where I once existed, time’s path is no longer certain…"

Lightning's new outfit and that small prayer she did reminds me a lot of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. Then again, that might actually be the idea. Lenneth was serving Odin while Lightning's Eidolon was Odin. O_o

If it is Cid, though, I would be happy. I felt horrible having to fight him (and he was much more on the ball then some of the other people. And he REALLY didn't like his fate)
