I know it's not you saying this, but anyone who think that all Vita games will get a PS3 version needs a serious reality check (nicer way of saying they are dumb lol).

Then go and tell Sony that they're dumb, they were the ones that affirmed they were going to try and release Vita and PS3 games together.

Here's the thing; If it's released on both the PS3 and the Vita(Actually, I'm not sure on this but I think the game only needs to be played on only one of them) then you can cross-play. Late at night you play it on your PS3, traveling on a train the next day you can continue playing it on your Vita.

I never really cared for the online function. i play Final Fantasy for the story, art, music mostly. Gameplay is an extra bonus for me.

I dunno, videogame for me has always been an idiom. I think of them as interactive experiences.

Your assuming I think any game is bad from square enix. I am one of those rare people who has enjoyed every single square enix title released and I have played almost all of them. I have never found a game from square enix bad nor do I expect one. My favorites include some of the most hated games to. I meant that for all games I play. I play them for story first and foremost. You didn;t have to act like I think this game will suck because I don't.

Also you were twisting my words and worked them into the opposite of what I meant.

I actually haven't seen anyone that hasn't enjoyed a single SE title. What they do is rant about the details that make a game bad, mediocre, or good. But rant isn't the right word here, it's more like acknowledge the game has flaws.

I'm a writer. A good story is what's going to keep me going in a video game, regardless of game play. If the gameplay is good and the story sucks, I doubt I'll finish the game.

This is 100% true. Although focus on the flaws might be more true, but yeah. A million times this.

I understand people valuing story over gameplay. I can do it too sometimes. But I'm not going to ignore bad gameplay just because the story sweeps me off my feet. If it feels like a chore to play the game (of course this is rarely ever the case), then it's not worth it to me.

I never said that was wrong but it sounded like (at least to me) that my opinion was crap to you. I can deal with crap gameplay if there is a good story. Some people can't it just depends on the person.

My first post was in no way supposed to imply type 0 would have bad gameplay. I think it looks really fun and intriguing. What I meant was people were complaining about no online multiplayer and to me I don't give a crap about that because as long as the story was good single player is fine with me. I added the gameplay being a bonus to emphasize the fact that gameplay makes it even more enjoyable to me but I mainly play for story, art, and music. If the gameplay is crap but the story is good then to me then the game is good, if the gameplay is good and the story is good then the game is amazing to me. On the opposite end if the gameplay is good but the story is crap then the game is okay - bad to me.

I really hope that has cleared up this topic because I'm tired of talking about it and it derailed the thread.
