Well, it's official. As of 2 pm today, I finished the game. Probably the last person in the developing world to do so but I'm proud of myself :)

Mine's been hampered by being in school, moving once graduated, and the PS3 being in the family room where anyone can see it and I don't know what's going to happen and I don't want family to watch while something violent happens... which probably will happen alot.

For Vanile's robot, then yes and no.

Mmm, no because it was simple enough and yes for the guide I was reading saying you could only get the equipment before the end of Chapter 11 and I was freaking out cause I had one thing to go and thought I couldn't get a trophy.

Is there any item to increase the chances of getting super rare items? I'm trying to get the Trapezohedron from the Adamanchelid

Adamanchelid's do not drop Trapezohedron. You'll need to fight the Adamantoise or Adamantortoise. There is an item that will help SLIGHTLY, Connoisseur Catalog.

The trapezohedron drop rate if utterly ridiculous. I've only managed to get 3. :/

Do any of the Long Gui things drop it?

Yeah, they do. Though, I'm pretty sure Adamantoise would be the way to go, since the Long Gui is considered a superboss, and the Adamantortoise has stronger defenses, and is a bit harder to debuff than the Adamantoise.

Well, this utterly sucks. Do the Adamantoise completely vanish when I complete missions 56-62?

The Adamantoise? No. However, the Adamantortise and Adamanchelid do. I'm almost at that point :p. Already completed Mark 64, a bit overrated. I really just want to get all the trophies before 13-2.

Plus, there is an Adamantoise in Eden, that never goes away, actually a pretty good place for farming Trapezohedron and Gil. Fight, beat, save, restart, repeat. Much faster than running around on Pulse.
