Ahh... that bit is a little bit annoying, you don't enter them in the airship, you have to get out and attempt to enter them one at a time, iff you attempt to enter any but one of the sand whirpools you'll be attacked by a monster you can't run from, he shouldn't pose too much of a threat though, but yeah, only one of the whirlpools will actually let you enter Kuja's hideout, just try them all til you find the right one.
Lovin' the stat-maxin', the epic stories, the epic battles... who needs a life when you have JRPGs?

Though the 'morro is barren of promises, nothing shall forestall my return

From what I remember hearing is that its the top right one.

I think was from where you get off the Blue Narcissus (or whatever it was) and walk straight into the desert.

That's known. I'm talking about the "Press X to enter" purple command at the top. It doesn't appear. I know about the Sand Lions, you misunderstand me.

I thought about asking... When you find Hades in Memoria, you can make two item useless... Beatrix's sword and Cinna's hammer. I heard they can be useful to see some kind of secret scene, but never saw one even though I had them?

    Have they really any use?

    Default Team help.

    I'm just about to restart on Final fantasy 9, but i'm having trouble with which party i should have. My past parties consisted of Zidane, Amarant, Garnet and Eiko. I was thinking maybe;

    Zidane, of course.
    Freya, never really used her.
    Steiner, seems REALLY good.
Eiko/Vivi, Eiko has Madeen and Holy, which are good. Vivi, because he can team up with Steiner.

But i also want to try out Quina, i heard it's good.

From what I've read the secret ending really isn't much of a difference than the normal ending with or without either of those items, but considering that the only character that can "use" them is Amarant just by throwing them at enemies.

Quina's abilities are mostly a mixed variety I used him/her anyway but not as much as the other characters since I was lazy since I didn't feel using Eat on certain monsters just to gain a certain ability.

I'm resurrecting, but the last post was less than 6 months ago, so whatever. Anyway, I just started this game today for the first time. I've always loved VII and X to no end. VIII was so-so. Anyway, I'm enjoying this very much so far. I just got onto the world map. I chuckled when I heard the band play that song that was Rufus' welcoming song in FFVII.

    Aww.

All this talk of it has made me want to re-play it for what I think and wouldn't suprise me being the 10th time.

    This game was awesome.
