stayed home sick today and decided to catch up on my house episodes (i was 4 episodes behind), and i also got caught up in some conversations from some television forums of america

Looking at the preview for the next episode, which they seemed to be hyping up, I think it may be. I didn't see him in the preview, though I may have missed him as the TV timer flipped the channel over to Heroes in the middle of it.

"Off" means to kill in that context, yes, but it was just a matter of whether the kill is literal or metaphorical, as it is with a job. I just have a hard time picturing how they're going to go about one of the main characters killing him/herself
