Ok, what happened to it...on my page it says i have earned 7 of them but when i post it only says i have 1. is this just a glitched or did they deactivate this?

you have 7 rep points. which go towards another rep box.

the number under your user name increases after every 1000 posts and after every year of membership.

i think he means you need 100 points ( rep points )
to get a second box

yeah i see it, there is only one section that has 2 of the little green boxes and says 3. there isnt a second rep secton

You gain rep power (read: not boxes) every 1,000 posts you get or every year you've been here.
