Rep Power: 2 ![]() Level: EXP: | Say youre searchin threw someones thread right. and you want to quote what someone said. i know how to do that, but how do you quote more than one persons reply without double posting. i got an infraction because i kept on double posting, (i was quoting what people were saying and i had to double post cause i ddin't know how to do this). any ways, i should have asked first. can someone please explain to me how you do this. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() Level: 31 EXP: | Oh, and if you don't wanna do that, you can copy and paste what another person said and put [quote] Whatever they said [/quote ] |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() Level: 23 EXP: | Usually it's pretty easy just to copy what you want to quote, add it to your reply, and wrap the quote with quote tags. Here's an example if you're still not sure. [quote]quoted text goes here[/quote] your text goes here [quote]another piece of text you want to quote[/quote] more of your text Does that help out any? |

Alternatively you can just do what Pelafina said and simply crtl+c the text and put it between quote tags. You won't see the "originally posted by x" thing but the person in question will obviously know what they said so it's nothing to worry about. | |
