Line thing help

I noticed some users have a line thing after the reply to a thread, they have a line going across the box and underneath is random stuff. How are you suppose to add one .
It looks like this.......

And then underneath it is random stuff.

that's the line separating their post to their signature.

Yeah, it's just to seperate their sig from their post.

Like mine :D Or, when in an rp, they'll use it to seperate charecters. {like I do...}

It's too large, when I shrink it, it comes back to it's normal form...

Are you talking about the code "[hr ]?"

ex.

[hr]

On some sites, [hr]= line break or whatever.

Edit: It doesn't work on here, so ignoring the signatures, there is no other way.
