Just another idea.

i figured this would be a good idea, epsecially for those rep whores and noobs out there that are so fascinated by the rep system. i got the idea from MyPoints.

basically, if you refer someone and they have an active account than you get points for it.

so say for example, if i referred someone and they said i did, once they reach a set number of posts (maybe 100 or 250, something like that), then i could get 10 or 20 rep points.

personally, i don't even care about the rep system. its just a suggestion in order to attract new members (if that was still a focus of the site).

Doubt that would work. It would get messed up somehow, and really I doubt anybody cares that much about it.
