Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | Okay, this is a complaint for the moderators, sorry guys: Even though I've only had an account since July 2009, I've been on the site and the forums. And over the years, I have seen so much bullying on the site. For example, if some new kid comes on, and makes a theory that isn't exactly well thought out, then here is what you do: "Oh, I like your theory, but it has some holes." ![]() This is what you shoudn't do: "You faggot. You are horrible and stupid. Get off the site, I'm gonna close this." ![]() There is probably something in the forum rules about this, but I'm too lazy to look. My point is, we need to stop bashing. Especially the premium members. Not all of them, but most of the comments I see like this are from them. If you have a point, make it. But don't be a jackass. Say what you mean, mean what you say, but don't say it mean -True Jackson, I hate that show, but good motto. Anyone else? |

| ⎳ΣGΣNDΛRΨ | ![]() See, this is where something of mind I said recently comes in to play. It was something 'If you fail to use common sense, you forfeit every right to be treated as an intelligent individual'. It's also applicable to how someone looks at a theory. If a theory or thread is genuinely of poor quality, I see no good reason why the person should not be insulted. It teaches them not to say stupid things. |

Rep Power: 1 ![]() Level: EXP: | I usually don't. I've tought myslef to not get affected by it. I'm just saying that if some kid comes on with hopes and dreams of being big on the site, and gets these kinda comments, it will lower his self esteem, on the site, and in real life. |

Rep Power: 5 ![]() Level: 16 EXP: | I don't really see too much bullying on this site. Surely theres the people in the FoKH who disect and criticise theories that, lets admit it, are stupid. But that's why they were posted, to get other peoples thoughts on it. People don't like it, deal with it. Also they're closed because they are pointless and don't serve any real purpose. The mods don't just close a thread purely because they don't like the theory but I'm pretty sure they have a certain criteria. Like what Infinity has said, don't be so precious. |

Rep Power: 3 ![]() ![]() Level: 14 EXP: | Oh, come on, if this affects you, you haven't seen the real world yet. And I actually didn't mind being insulted with my first theory which turned out to be utterly retarded anyway. It taught me that I should not be stupid on this forums. So I really worked harder on subsequent ones. Really, sometimes criticisms that are like that is much more effective than those in your first opinion. At least people will think things through prior to posting so as not to be ridiculed. And, emphatise with the critics. If you go through about 10 baseless, stupid theories per day, you can't really be blamed for being a little critical. |

| Monkeybutt INC | If you see a specific case like this, you should report it to a moderator. If its a moderator doing it, you should report it to an administrator. (But you are right, we've had to make specific rules about backseat modding specifically because of the FoKH section.) |

| Member | Don't let things like that bother you, report it and forget it, that's what i'd say. Just as long as you're not the one "bullying" then you're fine. Also if someone does give you a nasty comment, don't ever reply to that person with the same amount of nastiness or you're just as bad as them, this goes for everyone, not just you. KHI is supposed to be a fun place where we all reminisce on KH, ask questions, upload art etc. People like that are just "not right", ignore them. All they want is a reaction, don't give them it. |

Believe it or not people on other places talk about KHI and one of the first things they mention are people with your mindset, which takes a toll on our reputation. Being that I manage KHI, I come across criticism on this pretty often and I think it's about time I responded to it. It's definitely a problem. Part of the reason why I think the KH sections are so unbearable is because of people like you who think it's alright to be an elitist dick and tell someone that they're an idiot and top it off with a macro they just found on 4chan to poorly emphasize. For your information, there are other ways to tell someone that they're wrong that don't involve being a complete jackass. People on this site come and go. You guys just can't keep doing this, but since it's apparent that none of you seem to be showing any restraint, I'll be reinstating the infractions system sometime this week. Haha. | |

| Divinido Le Aesthetico | Infractions are like warnings that actually acrue, and psychologically, give whoever it is more of a reason to stop. Bans are more abrupt, and most of the time, people don't even TRY to modify their behavior, they just kind of act out because they're soooo oppressed. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() Level: 31 EXP: | You've been 'bullied' Phantom?... People can be total jerks but I tend to ignore those. By acknowledging them, you only give them more reason to do it. @Silh, there used to a an infractions system on here? How did that work out? |
