The hours are determined by the time zone you set in your preferences, however the minute you post goes by a timestamp from the server.

Basically, it's not going to reflect your time exactly.

It's a server problem, I doubt mods or admins can just fix it like that. You'd need that spdude or whoever's in charge to fix it, but good luck with that.

Well, that is IF it is a server problem.

No, not at all. It's just that the hour portion that you see on your post is determined by the timezone that you're posting from and the minutes and seconds portion are determined by the server's clock.

I hope that answers your question.

Heh, that's actually not possible unless you yourself new the logins and specific adresses for the server itself. Even a DDoS attack couldn't really offset the clock by that much.

It's just a matter of manually adjusting the clock or learning to compensate the difference of time.

The server's clock can sometimes run behind or ahead because of slight differences between most clocks that are non-atomic. These are usually adjusted when the time difference becomes noticable. If you ask a network technician at a computer lab or a business, they could probably tell you about requests to adjust a network's clock to ensure that each machine is synchronized correctly.

It's just a matter of syncing the clock from time to time because the forum is not a network using NTP.
