Ok, so here is the original thread. I seemingly lost interest, but, here a am with a remake. the old fans might actually kill me because of this.

Anyway, here is the remake. It includes new in between chapters that you'll want to read. Warning, though. Later on, this story will have somewhat strong language, so beware. Nothing past the F-word, though. Not the F-word, either. Anyway, here I go.

This story takes place during and after kh2. Alternate Universe, and all that crap.

After Sora: Age Of Darkness
The Remake

Prologue: Death Of A Hero

The man sat before them, clearly amused. They had beaten him, even through the pain and torture they
had gone through. The boys stood before him, blood stains covering their otherwise clean clothes. They were Sora, aged 15, and Riku, aged 16. They had just beaten the King of nothingness…. For now.


“How’d ya like that?” Sora asked, his brown hair shaking with his fist. “We just kicked your ass, Xemnas.”


“Nay.” The King of Nothingness stated. He stamped his spear into the floor, and everything disappeared for a second.


Suddenly, everything was swirling gray. It truly seemed as though this was pure nothingness, nothingness that would continue forever.


“What the Hell?” Riku asked. His gray hair was a deep opposite to Sora’s. “Didn’t we just beat you, Xemnas?”


“Wait.” The man called Xemnas stated. His clothing blended into the backround, disorienting all. “First, I have a question. Why should light and darkness continue forever? Surely nothingness must be the same?”


“What kind of question is that? Of course light and dark go on forever.” Riku said, his weapon glowing with the mention of its power.


“But that doesn’t mean that you go on forever, Xemnas!” Sora announced, drawing his ever-faithful Keyblade, Ultima Weapon.


“Ha ha ha, Sora.” Xemnas chuckled. “You still have so much more to learn. Pity you never will.”


“Shut up!” Sora yelled, jumping at Xemnas. Sora swung like a madmen, yet Xemnas managed to dodge ever blow.


“Is that all you’ve got? Show me your true power!” Xemnas said, grabbing Sora by the head. “I shall then accompany you to Hell. We shall go together!” Xemnas threw his captive high in the air, drawing his saber.


“Whoa!” Sora exclaimed, twisting through the air. His keyblade fell out of his hands, clattering into the nothingness.


Xemnas jumped his saber cutting through the air. It became a blur, impossible to know where it went.


“Sora!” Riku shouted, pouncing after the enemy. His swung his Way to Dawn ferociously, slashing Xemnas in the upper arm.


“Dammit!” Xemnas cursed, turning and cutting Riku across the face. “Go To Hell Already!”


“No way!” Riku laughed. He seemed to be enjoying himself, despite the slash across his face. He fell to the ground, landing on his knees. His weapon clattered uselessly, too far to reach. “No matter what you do… I will kill you.”


“Hmph.” Xemnas said, landing in front of Riku. “Prepare to die, brat.”

Sora landed, twenty feet away. He quickly got to his feet. It took him a second to realize what was going on. There was Xemnas, his sabers crossed around Riku’s head.


“Riku!” Sora exclaimed, his keyblade reappearing in his hand. Sora ran forward, preparing to slash with all his might.


Then, suddenly, Xemnas disappeared, leaving Sora to slash his friend, not the enemy.


There was a sickening sound as the keyblade hit the hero. Xemnas smiled to himself. One down, one to go.


“No…….. Riku…….” Sora whimpered, his friend lifeless in front of him. “How… How Could I……?”


“Sora. Goodbye. For now, it is over. But do not worry. The time will come when you will be lost, too.” The nobody said. He disappeared with a snap of his fingers. “I bid you farewell.”


“Xemnas….. Damn you………”


That day, a hero was killed. His friend would mourn the death for a long time to come…..

Anyway, hope you enjoyed. The actual chapters will be longer. It is just the prologue, after all.

Ok, this is not an actual chapter, but an in between chapter thing. Not in the original story, yet it will become vital to the plot later on. Yes, it is short, but Normal chapters are way longer. When I say way, I mean way. also, I added a character from an anime into this.... she does have a big part, too. Wonder who could gues....

So, for you enjoyment, here is:

Chapter ½: You Live Once


In the time of Death, one will truly find themselves. And the angels will proclaim so.


“Riku. Open your eyes.”


He did so, light filling the darkness inside him. “Where… Where am I?”


“Heaven. Well, almost.” The voice appeared to be a female, about age 20. She had whitish/pink hair, and she appeared to be levitating on an oar. “My name is Botan. I am the guide to the River Styx. In other words, I will take you to Heaven.”


“So…… I really am dead?” Riku asked, his mind struggling to keep up.


“Yeah.” Botan replied simply. “Often times, it takes a long time to realize that there is no chance of going back. Well, unless you attempt that.”


“What? Is there a chance of me coming back to life?” Riku saw a small glimmer of hope.


“It’s only happened twice before. But, for now, let’s focus on making it to Heaven.” Botan seemed distracted for a second, before regaining her composure. “So, we’d better get going.”


“Wait.” Riku looked down, realizing that he saw his friend holding the dead one’s lifeless body, sobbing uncontrollably. Riku whispered, “Dammit, Sora. You’re still alive, so act like it. If I can, I’ll be back. Until then, take care of Kairi for me. And remember, life continues on, no matter what.”

For a single second, Sora thought that he heard his friend’s voice speaking to him. He stopped sobbing, looking up toward the never-ending abyss. He thought that he sensed someone there…… His friend, Riku.


“Riku…… I-I will take your place as the dark keyblade wielder. No matter what it takes, I will accomplish this goal!” Sora spoke, gaining noise as he continued. “Don’t worry!”

Yes, yes. Good job. Actually, Yu Yu Hakusho hasn't taken place yet, or else it probably never will, judging by the alternate universe crap.

New Chapter! Well, first chapter, actually. Hope you enjoy!

Chapter 1: 5 Months Later

Of Angels and Heroes, Of Death and Villains, one shall rule and one shall be corrupted bydarkness....

Disney Castle

The chamber room was filled with animals of all shapes and sizes. Among them were several figures, including Donald Duck(Court Mage), Goofy(Director of Arms), Daisy Duck, Pluto, and Minnie Mouse(Queen).


Minnie was standing in front of the crowd, her hands folded in sheer nervousness. She stared silently at the group, wondering how she could break the news to them, her people.


“I… I have an announcement that concerns you all.” Minnie began, taking a breath. “Your king… Mickey….. Well, I’ll get straight to the point. Mickey is out on a mission. All is not well in the universe. The keyblade master has gone… missing. A new one is now being found.”


“WAAKK?” Donald exclaimed from the middle of the crowd. He pushed his way to the front of the assembly, looking very agitated. “Let me through! Whak happened to Sora?”


“Yeah, UH-HYUK.” Goofy said, already at Donald’s side. “What has Sora gone? Shouldn’t he be at Destiny Islands?”


The room fell silent. Everybody stared at Queen Minnie, waiting for the inevitable answer. Minnie looked down at her feet, as she prepared to speak.


“He has taken Riku’s spot as the Dark Keybearer. Do you remember when you met Sora at Destiny Islands? Didn’t he act strange?”


Donald thought for a moment, obviously surprised. “…..Yeah…..”


“Xemnas had killed his best friend. He had sworn revenge, you see. Revenge is a horrible thing. It twists your mind… Makes you do things you otherwise wouldn’t.” Minnie stated, the floor still attracting her attention. “He took up the job of Dark Keybearer, not knowing what he was getting himself into.”


“But…. But what about Kairi?” Goofy asked, in true disbelief. Deep inside Goofy’s mind, he already knew, though.


“He left her behind. She was the one… Who contacted us.” Minnie said, looking back at the assembly. “But, the reason for this meeting was concerning the King. He is, right now, searching for Sora.”


“Then, we should help him!” Donald exclaimed, running toward the exit, animals moving out of the way just in time to avoid collision. “Let’s go, Goofy!”


“Sorry, Minnie, but we’ve got to go, A-HYUK!” Goofy explained, following the short-tempered duck. “We’ll be back before you know it!”


A voice from the crowd rang out, saying, “Donald, be careful. Heartless are everywhere. Bring a coat along, it might be chilly! Also, don’t be afraid to ask directions!” It was Daisy.


“Whakever you say, darling.” Donald replied, his cheeks a rosy red. “Now then, off to the Gummi Garage!”


“What, shouldn’t you wait for us?” To small chipmunks asked, scurrying out of the crowd. They were Chip and Dale, the Gummi Mechanics.


“A-HYUK, come on along!” Goofy said, and the party ran off as the search for their friend began.

Radiant Garden

A strange, dark hole appeared. Out of it came an equally strange boy. He appeared at the edge of Radiant Castle, the old Hollow Bastion Castle. It stood, shining, towering over all that approached. It was completed, more so than the last time the boy had visited.


The boy stood in the shadows, questioning his motives. He knew not whether his plan was the right thing to do, something which he had spent so long trying to do. He only knew that this plan would, hopefully, help him in his quest.


He stepped closer toward the castle, his body trembling with anticipation. He hoped that this would go quickly, for-


“Hey, Sora, long time no see!”


Sora jumped at least three feet, his keyblade, Ultima Way to Dawn, appeared in his right hand.


“Geez, Cloud, you scared the shit out of me.” Sora gasped, his hand on his chest.


“Well, maybe you shouldn’t have been lurking around in the shadows, then.” Cloud had long, blondish-white hair. His giant sword was strapped to his back. Cloud was dressed in light clothing, for the first time that Sora could recall. It was as though the darkness had left his soul.


“I haven’t seen you since you vanished with Sephiroth. So, uh…. How’s life?” Sora asked, attempting to change the subject.


“Well, pretty good, actually. How about you? What are you doing around here?” Cloud asked. Clearly there was no way that Sora could get off the subject. “What troubles are happening now?”


Sora was silent for a second, wondering what he could give away and what he could not. This mission he was on was…. Important. Important and secret. He couldn’t just tell anyone that just walked up asked.


“I….. Well, let’s just say that a lot has changed since you vanished…” Sora said, looking Cloud straight in the eye….

Halloween Town

Jack looked around the small town. Something was wrong…. Different, almost. Halloween Town was deserted, completely empty. Not even a single departed soul wondered the streets. This was, quite simply, strange.


“Helloooooo?” Jack yelled out, his greeting echoing off all the building in the street. “Anybody here?”


Jack had just returned from his new discovery, Easter Town. He wore a strange outfit that resembled a rabbit costume. He was even hopping in a strange fashion.


“Okay guys. This is enough of a surprise party for me. It’s not even my birthday.” Jack called out, laughing nervously. This was not right. “Um, where is everybody?”


“Right Here, Jack…” A voice behind him said. Jack turned around, seeing the scariest thing in his life. Most likely because it was the last scare of his life…..
