A Kingdom Hearts-related Story

Welcome to the REAL world. Our Mother Earth. The very Earth that exists outside of these computers. On our Earth, Kingdom Hearts is just a multi-million dollar franchise, composed of a trio of video games, a collectible card game, and a collection of action figures. Kids love the series, and their parents love it when they tell them about the story. But, have they ever thought about taking the Concepts of Kingdom Hearts into consideration? Are Keyblades real? Do Heartless really exist? Are there really after-lives of the human body know as a Nobody? And does the darkness exist in every heart? Nobody ever took this into consideration except six children, whose lives are going for a spin in this Fan-Fic.

These six teenagers must accept their roles as Keyblade masters and must unlock the Ties That Bind all things together or risk losing everything they cherish and hold dear to them.

Nightfall

Chapter I
Destiny's Force

Michael sat on the floor in his room and activated in PlayStation 2. Kingdom Hearts II began playing and Michael began a new game. When about three boring days of nothing but fun play, Michael beat the game and was overwhelmed by the game's ending. After accidentally sleeping through the entire credits, he woke up to a weird message.

"Would you like to begin your new story?" asked a mysterious voice to Michael.

Michael's face went into confusion, figuring it must be some sort of alternate part to the game. So he wiped the drool of his face and picked up his controller. Whatever it was, it caught his interest.

"Yeah, I guess." said Michael as he pressed yes.

As soon as the button was pressed, a flash of white light brightened his dark room. Before he could realize it, it was morning. The controller was tightenly gripped in his hand. He then heard a large boom, but figured it must have been the Chicago Delivery Train making its stop. Then, another large boom was heard. Michael again ignored it. But, the third boom was nothing to ignore. As he looked out his window, he saw that the sky had become black as the night in mere seconds. Michael also notice that a large ball of darkness appeared in the night sky. Within emerged the thing that Michael recognized the most... Heartless. He climbed out of his window to check this out. Michael then spotted his best friend, Gary, and caught up with him.

"Decided to check out what this was was too, huh?" said Michael.

"You know i couldn't resist whatever this is." replied Gary.

The hurried to the beach where the ball of darkness was above. Heartless still began to flow and march into the city. As the two approached the barrier, a giant Heartless appeared in front of them. It began to attack Gary and Michael. They both seemed to be dead, until Gary ditched Michael, leaving him for dead. When all hope seemed lost for Michael, it.... appeared in the front of him....

The Keyblade.

"Wha... Is- is that... a Keyblade!?" Michael said to himself.

Then, the same voice from before all this mayhem flickered in Michael's head.

"Take it.... start your destiny, Michael.... take this Kingdom Key Keyblade and use it to stop the Heartless. For it is Destiny's Force" the voice said.

Michael, reluctant at first, grabbed the Keyblade and held it firmly in his grip. He felt it's magnificent power flow through him. He began to attack the giant Darkside Heartless. But, even with his magnificent power, it could not stand to power of darkness, not alone...

He then saw his five friends, including his cowardly friend, Gary.

"Gary?... John? Rihanna? Jade? Alexandria? What are you guys doing here?"

"We came to help you! Thats why I left, to get help!" said Gary, "Before I went to John, this Keyblade appeared in front of me, then I heard this weird voice."

"Same goes for me." John said, taking a slash at the Darkside.

"Me too." said Rihanna, Jade, and Alexandria at the same time.

"Well, looks like we were given these Keyblades for a reason," said Michael, "so let's use them to drive these Heartless away!"

Before they knew it, they giant Heartless was destroyed. But, there was still Heartless to be destroyed. So, the hurried into the city and began to repel the Heartless.

Meanwhile...

A dark figure loomed over the lowly workers of his ship from his throne. The man was clad in a large raincoat, similar to those worn by members of the Organization. He pulled his hood off, and was revealed to be a dark-skinned man with silver hair and a scar over his right eye. The man jumped from his throne and walked over to his navigations captain.

"Have our forces began their attack?" asked the man.

"Yes," replied the captain, "they are currently assaulting the city known as Chicago. But, there is a problem..."

"What is it?"

"There.... seems to be six teenagers with... dare I say- Keyblades. They are trying to repel our forces. What should we do about them, my Dark Lord Malicious?" asked the captain.

Malicious grew angry as he heard the word Keyblade. But, a smile grew to his face and he said, "Send out... Bahamut. He can deal with them."

Chapter II
The Escapade

The six teenagers began running towards the city in an attempt to stop the Heartless here and now. It was all or nothing. The world was counting on them. No, the fate of the UNIVERSE, was in their hands. They continued their run, cutting down all Heartless in the way. Before they knew it, they were in Downtown Chicago. But, an even greater attack force awaited them. Neo-Shadow Heartless. And not just the normal five you would find in Kingdom Hearts II. No. There were thousands. Tens of thousands. The kids grew scared. But, they couldn't give up, not with Michael, at least. Being Michael, he was the most bravest of the six Key wielders.

"Come on guys, we can't stop here! Let's get 'em!" said Michael.

They charged the army of Neos and began to hack and slash them. After more than an hour of fighting, the crippled the numbers of the force down to a mere five. Just then, the five Neos escaped from the scene and went down a sewer drain. Michael went over to Alexandria, to see if she was okay. For you see, these two were in love. Michael had been in many a relationship, but he had never been in love with anyone as much as he was with her.

"Are you are, babe?" asked Michael.

"Yeah, I'm okay. I could use a kiss, though." she replied.

"Ooh, I like the sound of that." he said as he kissed her passionately. Just then, they heard a huge roar that even shook the Sears Tower.

"Guys! Look! Something's on top of the Sears Tower!" yelled Gary.

They others turned their heads up and saw a huge creature, larger than the Aon Center, but slightly smaller than the Sears Tower since it was hanging on the antenna of the tower with it's feet crushed into the sid of the tower. It roared once more, shaking the entire city. Every building lifted out of its' place. Every car alarm went off. Every electronic malfunctioned. The creature dropped onto the streets staring at the kids. It swung its arm at them, taking down a building as well.

"Move! Guys, get out the way!" yelled Michael as he grabbed Alex and picked her up out of the way. They pulled out their KeyBlades once again and attacked the creature.

"Wait a minute!" I recognize that creature! Thats SIN Bahamut, from Final Fantasy VII!" yelled Jade.

"Look's like someone is gonna have to pull a Cloud out of their hat!" said Rihanna.

"We need to draw it away from the city. There are still some citizens left, trying to escape." said John.

"I agree. Let's go with that plan." said Gary.

"Ok guys, come on. Let's draw it out the the Magic of our Keyblades. FIRE POWER!" yelled Michael.

"THUNDER POWER!" yelled Alex.

"BLIZZARD POWER!" yelled Gary.

"WATER POWER!" yelled John.

"PSI POWER!" yelled Jade.

"GRAVITY POWER!" yelled Rihanna.

The plan of John's worked. They lured Bahamut away from the city and into the shores of Lake Michigan. The dragon was nearly exhausted of it's power. It's size is what slowed it down. The creature was on its knees. Finally. Michael charged up all of his strength, with his friends giving him a boost up too the monster's face. With a swift swing of his Kingdom Key, the monster was destroyed. All traces of it were gone. Nothing, not even a scale from it's slimey skin remained. They did it. The city was saved, they thought.

But, it wasn't.

Oh no. The battle had just began. And Destiny's Force would not leave the teenagers sides until the fate of the Universe was decided. All of a sudden, the ground began shaking. The teenagers fell over on the ground. They then began feeling light. Gravity was getting less and less heavy. Before they knew it, they were floating around in the air, and hovering towards the giant ball of darkness in the sky. It had seemed as if a tractor beam had taken them hostage. Michael tried so hard to get back down on the ground. Nothing worked. The kids had no choice but to accepted the fact that they were about to die. At the last second, Michael grabbed on to Alex's hand.

Just then, there was nothing. Earth was gone. Destroyed. They failed to protect Earth. They failed to protect each other. They were no more. They Keyblade Prophecy had not been fulfilled. They were dead.





















Or so we thought....





















Michael and Alex laid on the floor, knocked out cold, with each other's hand in hand. Michael was the first to wake up, and went into total shock as to where he and Alex were.

"Is... is this... TWILIGHT TOWN!?" he said.
