*shrugs* I thought of the Awakening sequence from KH1 and i thought this might be a good place to put it. I always thought of Kingdom Hearts as a majestic castle (after all, kingdoms usually have castles). The rural town came to mind while i was writing. Thinking of Raven Rise for some reason, i decided to include it.

Besides its actual source, was there any link between this phrase and, say, my RP character

only the fact that Aloz directed the quotation in question to Riku. lol. that was unintended.

Yes. The man is Rod Serling, the creator of The Twilight Zone. He was also the narrator for all of its episodes in the origional series.
