Phobia. A series of One-Shots.

Those eyes. Those cold, icy stares; watching, judging every move he makes.
The looks in those eyes scared him. Even if he wasn't there with them, the stares of his friends filled him with absolute terror.

It's why he wore a blindfold. Of course he'd have another reason if anyone asked.
"It's because my eyes can't lie." That was what he told everyone. But inside he knew the
truth. "My eyes don't lie, they tell the truth. I'm afraid of their eyes."

He walks the path between light and darkness. Neither eye getting accustomed to either.
His eyes can see everything but the truth. That he's not being judged. He's just scared.
The blindfold protects his lie, and perpetuates it. So much, he begins to believe it.

He's scared:

Scared of the truth.
Scared of judgement.
Scared of lies.

He's scared of eyes.

DiZ and Ansem walk the outer darkness.

"I've been here so long, I'm talking to myself."

"Yes, but who else is there to talk to? You love to talk."

"No! I must refrain from conversing from what isn't there"

"But then it'll be quiet."

"It's better than rambling on about nothing with no one."

"That hurts. Why don't you just let your mind wander? It's better than not talking to me."

"You aren't here. My mind is beginning to get desensitized to the darkness. You can't convince me you are."

"My point remains valid. Just fade away from where you are."

"If I fade then you take over, am I right? Then how will I escape?"

"You contradict yourself. If you're desensitized, why do you want to leave? There is nothing to do you harm here."

"Because I won't be like you. Darkness is not my home."

"Are you talking about that castle? It's been a while. I don't even remember it."

"Because you were never there. You're just a memory of guilt that won't go away."

"Face it old man. You're losing it."

"Never. I will not admit to such blasphemy."

"I'm going to spell it out for you."

"Don't"

"A is for afraid."

"I warn you not to taunt me."

"G is for Gewgaw"

"Xehanort."

"A is for Allusion."

"T is for Terror."

"E is for Existence."

"O is for Oblivion."

"What's the matter old man? You're not going to talk? I'll keep going. then."

"P is for Pawn."

DiZ was getting upset. Nevertheless, he remained silent.

"H is for Heresy."

"O is for-"

Xehanort hesitated.

"O is for Obliterate."

"That too. You won't get rid of my that easily. I won't fade as you did."
Silence

"B is for Broken."

"I is for Illusion. I realize that you are now a part of me. Which means I can silence you."

"You won't. I'm the only thing keeping you sane."
"A is for-"

"NO!"

"A is for-"

"STOP!"

"A is for Adieu."

"Good-bye my foolish apprentice. Foolish apprentice to a foolish man."

The illusion of Xehanort faded and DiZ kept walking.

No, it's just not getting done well. I have the setup in mind, and how the situation comes to an end; but I can't get them to connect.
