Oh, and in my next chapter that I'm gonna write this afternoon (I hope...I'm at school right now...) I'll be going into some of Destiny's past and what-not. Ya know, what happened to her when she first arrived in Traverse Town, how she grew up, how it effected her and her personality, and such. I'll go into what she looks like in more detail, too. I didn't want to take to much time in this chapter before chapter because I wanted to get the story under way, so I figured, once everything was set up in chapater one, in chapter two I could go into detail about Desi and her life. Get it?

Twilight's Destiny: Chapter Two
Remembrance of Times Past


"Ring around the rosies; pocket's full of posies; ashes, ashes, we all fall down!"

Destiny was staring out of the Gummi ship's window. Cid, in his hurry to reach Radiant Garden, stalled his ship and didn't know what had happened to make it do so. Things were going slow because Cid never let Desi help work on his ship. So she was sitting there, quite bored. She had been singing, rather loudly, Ring Around The Rosies going on 15 minutes. Suddenly, there was a yell from the engine room.
"Damn it, Destiny! Would you quit singing!?"

Destiny scowled unhappily and began singing even louder, to annoy Cid. He had to yell a few more times before she would finally stop singing. Once again, Destiny was left to her own devices. She looked out of the glass window, her faint reflection gazing intently back at her. She peered at herself, scrutinizing herself rather closely. She began slowly muttering under her breath.
"I'm rather small, aren't I? Dainty, even. I'm awfully pale skinned, too. And I'm really short...I have long silver-blond hair and layered bangs. My hair shimmers some-what, too. My eyes are sapphire blue and are rather bright. My nose is small. No freckles or marks like freckles. I also tend to wear a lot of black...Man...I can't be normal"

Desi sighed, shaking her head. She continued to stare at her reflection as her mind began to wonder. She was thinking about her past...Her arrival at Traverse Town, actually.

A young Destiny was in a crumpled heap of black and white on the ground. She was wearing a white collared shirt, a black skirt, white socks, and black shoes. As Destiny lay in the middle of the street in the Third District, she moaned softly. Soon, giggling could be heard far up the street.
"La, la, la, la, la! Hurry up, Squall!!"

A girl around the age of 9 was running down the street. She had black hair and wore colorful clothing. She looked almost like a mini ninja. Behind her, a tall boy of the age of 14 followed. His hair was a shade of brown.
"Yuffie, don't call me that."
He scoffed.

"Oh, but c'mon, Squall! It's your name!!"
Yuffie yelled, giggling.

"So??? I told you not to call me Squall. You know I made a vow!"

"Yea, yea. You won't use or go by your name Squall until the Heartless go Bye-bye. I know, I kn-- HEY! SQUALL! LOOK!"

"For the last time, it's Leo-- Wha?! Who is she?"
A young Leon and Yuffie stared at Destiny, who was unconscious. They gaped for a moment, then Yuffie spoke.
"Hey, shouldn't we get her to the hotel or something?"

Leon nodded.
"Yea, but carefully. She must be one of those people that have lost the world they lived on and were thrown here."
He carefully picked Destiny up and craddled her in his arms, walking slowly. He was suprised at how small she was, though she looked to be around 7 to him. Her small body look to be smaller than the average 7 year old. With Yuffie leading the way, they walked to the hotel in the second District. Yuffie explained the situation to the man at the counter and he let them into one of his spare rooms. Yuffie pulled back the covers while Leon place the girl onto the bed that was in the room. He then covered her up and then gazed at her.

"She's so small..."

"Uh-huh, she is. She'll be safe here. We should talk to Cid, you know. He might take her in."
Yuffie sat beside the bed and began to stroke Destiny's hair gently.
"He wouldn't want her to be running around with no place to call home."

"Yea. I'll go talk to him now. Yuffie, stay her with the girl, in case she wakes up."
Yuffie nodded, continuing to stroke Destiny's hair.

About 20 minutes later Leon came back to the hotel room with Cid. Cid closed the door behind him. Yuffie looked up and smiled.
"Come here! Feel her hair. It's so soft! It's like silk!"

Leon walked over and gingerly touched Destiny's hair, knowing he would have hell to pay if he didn't. Yuffie was little, but dangerous. He gasped.
"Your right, Yuffie...It does feel like silk."

He pulled his hand back as Destiny began blinking.
"Huuuuh? Where am I? What's going on...?"

She sat up and looked around, then realizing something, she quickly looked at her hand. She gasped, thinking, It's gone! It's gone! The key thing is gone! She gulped then burst into tears.

"OH!!! It's okay, don't cry!"
Yuffie jumped onto the bed and held Destiny tightly.
"It'll be alright...Shhhh...Now, what's wrong and maybe we can help!!!"

Destiny snuffled.
"N-no, you can't. It's gone...A-and I didn't even have it for a hour!!"

"C'mon, Yuffie. Let's let her cry in peace. We'll come back later and check on her..."
Cid picked Yuffie up and sat her on the ground.
"Oh, alright..."

Yuffie scowled as she stomped out of the room, obviously wanting to help Destiny. Cid and Leon followed behind.

Destiny cried for nearly a hour, hugging her little knees, shaking each time she sobbed. Finally, she sat up and looked around, finally comprehending what was going on. She pounded her right fist into the bed and then shook it furiously. Suddenly, just like before in the orphanage, the key appeared in her hand. She almost screamed. She gulped, but then a very small smile appeared on her face.
"I get it. I-I can summon this key thing with my hands, just like that!"
She snapped.

"That's good...I'm glad I didn't lose it...Though I think...I'll keep this to myself for now..."

"DESTINY!!"

"Huh!?"
Destiny was brought back to reality by Cid's yell. She turned from the window and gazed at him.

"I've fixed the Gummi ship, so we can get under way again, Desi...What were you thinking about, anyways?"

"Oh...Just...About how my hair really does feel like silk!"

Author's notes:

Okay, this isn't quite what I was planning when I was planning this this morning. It was going to be a whole big thing about her past, but I decided to post it in chunks during the entire story, more things being revealed about her slowly, as we go on. I think that's better. I figured...Well, you can wait and see!

Thank you so very much! I've never been complemented so well before. EVER. It makes me feel special. I try to make character's like Cid or Leon true they the character the play in the KH series, but I'm afraid I'm not as good as I wish to be. I try to play my words of each other as well. I like to be colorful and use colorful words and phrases, but rarely get to do so. You see, I live in the south, and in the county I am in, it is full of red-necks and southern speaking people which rarely allows articulate speech, so I do my best to bring it to my writing! Well, thank you for your complements!!! [OhMehGosh, I spelled complements right! I use google spell check to check, but the point is the I'm a horrible speller and CONSTENTLY use google spell check, but this time I got it right!]

Twilight's Destiny: Chapter Three
Visions of Darkness

The flight from Traverse Town to Radiant Garden was at most a good two hours, but with the delay, they were set to arrive a hour and a half later than they had thought. Destiny, being a active person, was doing anything she could not to go crazy in Cid's ship. When she flew, usually by herself, she was the one flying the ship, so she had no problems, but being a passenger drove her out of her mind. She hated it. Just sitting, staring, and completely bored. Sure, she liked to think, but not for such a long time. She sighed softly, glancing here, there, basically, everywhere. Cid wasn't exactly much of a talker when flying, so when she and Cid flew alone, she didn't have anyone to speak too, most of the time. When Cid told her that they would be arriving to Radiant Garden any minute, she was extremely happy.
"FINALLY! I was getting so tired of just sitting. I think it was actually killing me, Cid. KILLING me!"

Cid sighed, shaking his head. Destiny tended to be very over dramatic sometimes.
"Destiny, you can be so melodramatic sometimes! It can get annoying!"
Destiny blinked, having an idea.

"AHHHHHHHHH! WE'VE REACHED OUR DESTINATION!!! WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIIIIIIIIIIE!!!! EEEEEEE!!"
She grinned while Cid glared at her.
"Melodramatic enough for ya, Ol' Man Ciddie?"

Out of all the little nicknames Destiny had for Cid, 'Ol' Man Ciddie' was the one he hated the most.
"DAMN IT, DESTINY!"
She giggled uncontrollably.

Cid shook for a moment, trying to regain his cool. He took several deep breaths to calm himself so he wouldn't try and kill Destiny. He knew she was just doing to get on his nerves. He had never met anyone else that could get under his skin quite like Destiny did. He did have to admit though, that was one of the reasons he loved her. He had raised her as if she were his own and to Destiny, though she never would admit it, he WAS her father since she had never remembered having one in the first place.
"Well, Desi. Here we are. Radiant Garden. Happy?"
Cid snapped at her a bit, rather peeved at her for the moment.

"Oh, yes, Cid. Quite happy."
Destiny smiled gently at Cid and seeing as she didn't call him one of her little nicknames, he let go of her earlier comment. Sometimes, he thought, I just can't resist that girl's smile.

Just them , Cid began his decent to land the Gummi Ship. After a few minutes, they had landed safely in a landing area set up special for Cid's ship. They both got up and walked to the door of the Gummi ship when Destiny suddenly stopped. Looking back, Cid tilted his head.
"Destiny...?"

She looked up at Cid's face as everything began to slowly swim in and out of focus. She blinked a couple of times, but it didn't help her one bit.
"Destiny, are you are right?"
Cid's voice was more urgent this time.

She gulped a bit. Cid continued to say her name, but it came to her ears slower and slower. Finally, her eyes began to fall as she fainted. The last thing she heard and felt, barely, was Cid screaming her name and the cold metal floor of the Gummi Ship.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha...HA, HA, HA, HA...MWAA, HA, HA, HA!!!"
Destiny could hear someone laughing manically.

"Everything is going according to plan! With-in days, the Destiny Isles should fall, and with it, the Keyblade Master and his friends! Could this get any better!"
A man in a black Organization cloak was sitting in a high seat. Destiny looked at him, though he could not see her. She looked at another walking toward the man in the seat.
"Master."
Destiny listen carefully. When he had said master, it seemed somewhat...Forced, to her. The man pulled off his hood.
"Saix, what news do you bring."

Destiny gasped. Saix was a member of Organization XIII, the key word being was. Sora had battled with him and won. He was suppose to be toast!
"I bring more news from the Destiny Isles. Apparently, Axel is battling the Keyblade Master's Nobody, the Key of Destiny, number XIII, Roxas. He does this to show you his...Thanks for bring him back out of the darkness. Sora 's intent is to intervene, but Roxas will not allow it since Sora has been hurt badly already. If Sora and his Nobody fall, which they will, I'm am pleased," Which he said in the most displeased tone Destiny had ever heard, " To inform you that the Destiny Islands will surely fall."

The man began laughing manically again. Though she couldn't see his face under his hood, she could tell he was smiling crazily.
"Excellent! This is most pleasing news! After the Destiny Isles fall, all other world will follow in suit with out they're 'great' protector to stop us! With out the Keyblade mater in the picture, we WILL succeed! We WILL~"
Suddenly, Destiny felt herself being pulled away from the scene at a great speed, flying through space and different worlds until stopping suddenly at a world with a single island chain on it.
'The Destiny Isles...'

She was force down to one of the largest islands at an incredible speed, nearly crashing into the ground. She blinked and looked up into this new scene that was already unfolding before her arrival. She could hear yelling, screaming, intense cries of pain. She looked around, people were being chased by Nobodies, some being caught, others making it insider their home before the Dusk Nobodies caught them. In the middle of the street, however, was the thing that caught her eye. A red haired Organization member, she assumed to be Axel and a Blond hair boy with two Keyblades. She knew that was Roxas, but she didn't know why. She had never met him.

"C'mon Roxas! I'm going to win and you know it! Join forces with me and you'll be on the winning side! Forget about those people and come back with me! That's why I volunteered to come here! To get you!"

Roxas shook his head, which looked slightly odd because he was shaking as well. Roxas appeared very tired, but it looked like he wasn't going to back down.
"No way, Axel! I'm not joining forces with you or anyone else on your side! What you're doing is wrong and I'm going to stop you! Your my friend, but I know what's right!"

Behind Roxas, a few yards away, stood Riku, with his Keyblade drawn. He was protecting Sora and Kairi. Destiny saw Kairi half holding, half pulling Sora. He was trying to get up, but was failing horribly. Each time he gasped in pain and Kairi pulled him back with tears in her eyes.
"No, Sora! You can't! You'll get hurt even more! What if you die!?!"

Once again, Destiny felt herself being pulled away from the scene. She didn't want to go, but she knew she didn't have a choice.

"Does she faint like this often, Cid?"
"What exactly happened?"
"Did she say something before she fainted?"
"I wonder is she had hit herself on the head?"
"That's stupid."
"CLOUD!!!!"
"YUFFIE!"
"You need to be quiet!! You might wake Destiny!!!"
"Shut up!!!"
"Sorry!"
"Not you, Aerith!"
"Yea! It's Leon!"
"He meant you, Yuffie!"
"BOTH OF YOU!"

"Uh, do you guys always talk about me and fight about stupid stuff when I faint or what...?"
Everyone in the room gasped. Sitting in a circle sat Cid, Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, and King Mickey. Standing in a corner was Cloud. They all stared at Destiny who had set up and place her head in her hands. Yuffie rushed over to her.
"How do you feel?"

"Oh, just dandy, Yuffie. I fainted and now I have a splitting migraine, so just dandy!"

"Oops...Stupid question..."

So, yea. I decided that we should get a small look into the doings of the bad guys before King Mickey talks to Destiny. I had the idea during Second Block. Ch'yea! So, thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it!!

Tehe! Yea, I think that this story is pretty original, too.
I'm trying to be creative and I thought a major battle and siege of the Destiny Isles would work REALLY well!

Yup! I thought so, too! ^^ I'm the one who wrote it and it makes me want to laugh!

Oh! And I'll probably try and post aother chapter tomorrow. I'm on a freaking roll so I gotta keep going before I lose steam! The ideas keep rollin' on into my head! ^^
