| Orville Redenbacher WOO | Cal, PM me for new ideas on Prelude to Darkness. I'll tell you a few of my current ideas for how we should end that one, and this one as well if you want. |

| Orville Redenbacher WOO | Thanks Andi. I won't be able to get as much writing done during the week. I'm taking a geometry course this summer, so I'm going to need more sleep, and I'll be studying and stuff, along with chilling with my friends at my pool and other places, getting back into playing guitar and skateboarding, possibly working, and of course playing basketball and lacrosse. |

| Orville Redenbacher WOO | Next chapter is in development. I just need some time to clean it up and try to avoiid any mix ups, like I did in the original that NO ONE noticed... |

| Orville Redenbacher WOO | Chapter 11 The sun's gentle kiss of light on the setting sky was the only light visible to guide the three sneaks. However, even with light, there is doubt. The doubt being on the nature of this new fellow, Bonzi Beemmer. He was a man of average height, 5'11, to be exact, and he was rather scrawny, weighing in at 165 pounds. His hair, which is long, black, and spiky, has puny strands of hair loose, almost covering his left eye from sight. His eyes were a pure shade of bright green. His outfit was a little strange as well. He was wearing dark purple and green baggy pants, and a cotton shirt, which was sleeveless, in the same color and pattern. He wore a dark purple beltEspecially since as awarrior, if you were to have scars, your torso and face would be the most hurt. however, his face was clean of anything, but no idea about his torso. as well. His shoes were pitch black with gold outlining and a golden 'B' marked on each shoe. Also, Stalgamin had heard stories of this recruit. He had heard he was a murderer, an assassin, if you will. That would be the easy explanation for how his powers are even exceeding Draco. However, these stories were sheer speculation, but highly believable. Stalgamin also took a good, long look at his weapons. He looked at the dual blade which was slung in its case on his back. Quite a bizarre weapon. The handles were pitch blade, and the blade was clearly the finest silver out there. He bore wrist guards as well, which made Stalgamin curious. And finally, at his side, the was a set of chakrams. They matched his outfit as well, so they seemed to blend in to his pants. Scars were on his forearms, biceps, and neck. This, in Stalgamin's mind, questioned Bonzi's character, as Bonzi may be suicidal from Stalgamin's perspective. Especially since his face was clean of scars. They had reached the outskirts of the main city of Aeropolis. The sun had set completely at this moment, and there was still hustle and bustle visible in town. The street lights were lit. Stalgamin bolted to the closest building, and motioned for Danielle and Bonzi to follow his lead. Only moments behind him, they were ready to figure out how to infiltrate the city without being detected. "Alright, well, I think the best way to avoid any problems is to go from rooftop to rooftop. I briefly scoped the area, and noticed that the buildings aren't too far to jump. You tihnk you could make it, Danielle?" Stalgamin asked. Danielle laughed at that question. "You kidding me? I always was able to jump higher and farther than you, Stal. Just because you've been training and I haven't doesn't mean crap." Stalgamin nodded in approval. "Like tha tattitude. You in, Bonzi?" Stalgamin looked over his shoulder, where he thought Bonzi was, however, he was already on the rooftop. "Stop joking around, you losers. C'mon already," Bonzi said boastfully. Stalgamin was amazed by how quietly Bonzi was able to scale the building, which was about 7 or 8 stories high. He followed as best he could, but it took him a little bit. Danielle followed in the same pace. Stalgamin walked to the edge facing the town. He noticed a building with lights flaring. "I'm willing to guess that's our first stop. You guys game?" Bonzi and Danielle nodded, and they quickly hopped roof to roof. The sheer adrenaline rush they were getting while soaring through the air was an incredible and indescribable feeling to them. After being held up in the same building without the sky for a long time, they felt like they were finally free of the shackles that bounded them to their hiding. Every jump was a moment that they loved. Luckily for their enjoyment, the destination was about another 30 jumps or so away. They finally made it. They paced the rooftop of the building, looking for an access point. They finally came across an air ventand slipped in. The vent, luckily for them, was big enough for all of them to maneuver one by one. They ended up reaching a segment where no one was around, and they managed to drop in. Danielle looked around, and read a few door signs. Suddenly, she was motionless. Stalgamin noticed how she was in shock, and ran over to her, shaking her gently to move her. "You okay? Speak!" Stalgamin urged. Danielle's lips were shaking, as she muttered the words, "We are so screwed..." Bonzi looked at the sign that caught her eye. "Oh shit, we're not in a mall, a bar, or anything like that." Stalgamin looked at the same sign, and was about ready to wet his pants. "How the hell did we end up in Xonic's HQ?" Bonzi slapped himself in the face. "You dolt, you led here. Why'd I listen to you?" Stalgamin grabbed his short sword, and pointed it directly at Bonzi. "Well, you didn't have to come. You asked to come with us, if I remember clearly." Bonzi grabbed his dual blade from his sling. "Put your blade away, Stal. You don't know about all the people I've had to kill in order to stop Xonic and Chauvelin from getting any farther. You may have heard the rumors of people I've killed, one of them was Chauvelin." Stalgamin was taken back for a moment. "Wait, when did you kill Chauvelin?" Bonzi clutched his fist. "4 years and counting." "That makes no sense..." Stalgamin murmured to himself. "What the hell are you talking about, man?" Bonzi questioned in a confused manner. Stalgamin stuck his sword in the ground. "3 and a half months ago, when we landed on this planet, we crashed our ship into that of a man named Chauvelin. He was a bit odd, seeming to play word games. Seems intelligent, rather grumpy, ominous in general." Bonzi put his blades away. "Damnit. I saw his fall from the edge of that cliff. N oone could survive it... Are you sure it was Chauvelin Le Blanc?" Stalgamin nodded. "That's the name, right on the tip of the nose. How could he survive a fall from a cliff?" Bonzi was stroking his chin for a few minutes, and then slammed the wall. "I forgot, he was experimenting when Xonic and he were first incognito after a feast at Disney Castle in Xonic's honor. Both of them managed to sprout 2 Bahamut wings from their backs, which they managed to figure out how to control when the wings flared, which was why they were incognito for so long. However, his wings weren't out in my battle with him. He must've planned that from the start Sheer brilliance, I doubt that Xonic even knew about this." Suddenly, a voice was heard from down the hall. "You're right, I didn't know til I arrived on this world." In shock, they knew the voice was that of Xonic. They urned around simultaneously, and noticed Xonic, Chauvelin, and a number of troops behind them. "You guys are lousy sneaks." Stalgamin chuckled. "Thanks, Draco." Then, he and Bonzi charged down the hall, in an attempt to flee from them. Danielle shoook out of it as well, and managed to subtly sned an emergency text message to Draco and LIBERATORS giving immediate location and situation. However, as they turned the corner, they were surrounded, and had to hold off the troops on their own for now. |

Just the right degree of detail and you make the reader want to read more, which is very important. Characterization is relatively good as well. Overall, study just a bit more and you'll go far. |

| Orville Redenbacher WOO | Thanks Star. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chapter 12 Only one solitary emotion was sensed in this room, rage. Rage, although such a negative emotion, is one followed with great power. It seems that while one is enraged, his or her power capabilities are drastically strengthened. Such a mysterious emotion as well. Sometimes, rage seems to hamper one's thinking capabilities, lowering their common sense temporarily. Well, with all this rage, between the groups of fighters, the rage flared. Xonic made a motion for the soldiers to fall back and protect the building from further intruders, since he was confident that the team of Chauvelin and himself could take on Stalgamin, Bonzi, and Danielle. Bonzi grabbed his dual blade, and began to circle around Chauvelin, exasperated at his liveliness. "Well, my old foe, I can't believe that yet again, we meet each other," Bonzi said. Chauvelin grinned. "Well, Beemmer, you failed at eliminating me. You always finished off with a sloppy job." Bonzi's rage was increasing by the second. "how did you survive. I slashed at you with my greatest power, and that sent you flying off that cliff." Chauvelin laughed. "Flew? More so slightly knocked back. I wouldn't have gone as far if I hadn't jumped back in attempts to dodge." Bonzi said, "Well, old mate, you care to dance the sweet tango of battle yet again?" Chauvelin nodded. "Of course. But you won't be so lucky this time. Meanwhile, Xonic was at the other end of the hall, looking at Danielle and Stalgamin with confidence. "Well, you two love birds care to dance?" Sonic teased. Stalgamin grabbed his blade. To his lack of memory, his prized Golden Blade was at the headquarters. He was just too foolish to bring it. Well, this blade wasn't that bad. Quite swift and sharp. Should be helpful if contact is made. "You know I'm ready, Xonic." Danielle grabbed her revolver. "I'm ready as well." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The fight between Bonzi and Chauvelin had already commenced. Bonzi was currently using his dual blade to attack Chauvelin. Le Blanc's weapon of choice was currently a combination between a staff and a sword. The staff was rather short, clearly for defensive purposes, while the blade was long and thin, perfect for precision attacks. Bonzi went to slash Chauvelin's legs continuously, only to be blocked quickly by the staff. Chauvelin then attacked simultaneously with his staff and sword, knocking back bonzi quite a bit. He was sent to the wall, where he managed to gain control of gravity. He crouched on the wall before a great leap. He aimed his Laser Guards at Chauvelin, and began firing. Laser beams were flying, and there were too many for Chauvelin to manage blocking them all.he blocked the majority of them, but quite a few hit him in the torso. He fell to the ground. Struggling to get up, Chauvelin casted a spell. His eyes began to flare with lightning bolts, and the light bulbs above Bonzi's head were discharging at Chauvelin. He gathered the energy, and unleashed it in great force against Bonzi. Shocked, Bonzi collapsed. Managing to conserve some strength, Bonzi put away his dual blade and took the chakrams lodged on his side. He began flinging them relentlessly at Chauvelin. Releasing one as a boomerang multiple times as it came back, Bonzi was unleashing severe damage upon Chauvelin with that alone. Not to mention, Bonzi's wheel in his left hand was quickly slashing Chauvelin in al lareas of his body. Chauvelin was in deep trouble now. He was losing blood to th chakrams, as new scars were opened up on his face and his arms. He was rarely able to block an attack with the great speed Bonzi had. Chauvelin finally managed to escape the barrage of slashes. He backflipped to safety, and held his forehead to prevent massive blood loss. His blood was dripping ont o the floor, and he was in agony. "well, it seems like you've gotten stronger." Bonzi twirled his chakrams around in his hands. "Hmph. That spell you casted was rather intriguing. It seems like you picked up a few decent moves yourself." Chauvelin kept holding his forehead. "Of course I did. I've been hiding for almost 10 years. I would imagine I'd be training." Bonzi looked at the velvety red blood on the floor. But for some reason, it seemed to look unlike real blood. It was incredibly red, too red to be a human's blood sample. Saying nothing about the blood, he noticed Chauvelin vanish into the shadows. "Pansy, he thought. He walked int othe nearest science lab, and he grabbed a few slides. He began collecting blood samples from Chauvelin, figuring the samples could be interesting. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meanwhile, Stalgamin and Xonic were having an epic fight. Danielle would occasionall fire a shot, but she would always miss in panic that she'd hit stalgamin. So, she was merely a cheerleader and a distraction until Draco and the others get there. Stalgamin ran towards Xonic and did a front flip, slashed Xonic vertically to the torso. The shot merely nicked Xonic's armor. Xonic countered with a series of fast and painful blows to Stalgamin chest. Little drips of blood were becoming visible, but nothing Stalgamin couldn't deal with. He flipped over Xonic, slashing Xonic's back while in the air. Xonic fell to his knees in agony at the clearly painful strike. He quickly tried to shake it off, but Stalgamin began to grab Xonic by his shoulder guards. Stalgamin began to throw Xonic, but Xonic managed to get his feet on the ground. He grabbed Stalgamin's shirt as well, shaking Stalgamin loose while flipping to throw Stalgamin into the ground. Xonic body slammed Stalgamin as hard as he could into the ground, and Stalgamin began having trouble getting up. Xonic followed with a dropkick to induce more pain, but Stalgamin managed to roll over to his left, avoiding the kick, and Xonic crashed into the ground. Both fighters got up simultaneously and grabbed their swords. They began sensing where the other would go to attack, and a series of metallic clangs were heard. The hallway was getting ruined marks from the blades, and neither fighter was giving up. ~~~~~~~ Danielle's phone began to ring. It was Draco, she picked up in panic. "Draco! Where are oyu? We'er in Xonic's headquarters." Draco sighed. "Yes, I know. That's exactly why i didn't want you guys up there. You risked our best recruit in Bonzi, plus endangered us all. You three are in serious trouble." Danielle paniced even more. "Yes, I know. I understand that. But how will you get us out of here safely?" "You guys will have to avoid the explosion." Danielle almost had a heart attack. "EXPLOSION?!?!" "Yes. Mega has located every sector of troops, and is in the process of planting bombs to deplete their forces. Try to capture one. for interrogation. You guys will not die though. We sense where you are, but for your information, Chauvelin escaped. Chauvelin is vital to their plans. he has to be. We have no further intelligence on Chauvelin, so we need Bonzi alive even more, since he seems to have a connection with Chauvelin. Get Stalgamin out of there, and try to sneak as much information as you can out of there." |
