I like the idea of something LotR style... it seems that with what we're trying to do here, it could be the easiest. I mean, I love the sci-fi style, but they usually have a more intricate, complex storyline.

And honestly, I;ve never been big on Sci-fi. Something about the...MECHS AND SPACESHIPS kills it for me.

Sci-fi doesn't have to be all mechs and spaceships. Think of Ghost in the Shell. That's not mecha - okay, aside from the Tachikomas - but it's still sci-fi.

We need a Challenge section rejuvenation, because by battling we can introduce newbies to RPing. D: Combat is the easiest way to get a newbie's style up - and then we introduce them to regular RPs. Also, battling = epic

Last time I did a battle, the guy tried to powerplay then quit in the middle. . .kinda sucked.

I agree, I think there needs to be something about challenges... it's very unapproachable from the outside.

The best way to learn is to throw people right into the action and see what happens.

... then help people later. Or at the time, your choice.

But still, Sci-Fi RPs aren't really my thing ... fantasy's all right. But it might be best if we combine different genres instead of just having one solid one. Nothing too drastic, but still.
