Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Here's the next chappie! Enjoy! Chappie 23 Riku still swam as fast as he could to the city. When he got to the gates, there was a merman that looked to be around twenty waiting for him. “Are you the boy that I’m supposed to take to the king?” Riku nodded his head. “This way.” The merman took off, and Riku followed. “Is she okay?” Riku swam into the room that Anna was supposed to be in. King Triton was sitting in a chair in the corner, keeping an eye on Anna while she slept. “They think she’ll be fine. That was one of the worst wounds they’ve encountered here. They didn’t think she was going to make it when she arrived. She lost a lot of blood.” Riku sat down on the hospital-like bed Anna was lying on and tried to forget about the thought of Anna dying. “Did she wake up?” Riku asked. King Triton shook his head. Riku looked back at Anna. Her shoulder, arm, and side looked like nothing had happened. “The doctors here can heal so that there is no scar or mark left on the skin. She is completely healed, but she shouldn’t wake up until tomorrow. It looks like the shark got it’s shot at you, also.” Riku looked at the king confused. The king motioned towards Riku’s left arm. The shark had apparently cut his arm up with its teeth. After all, the shark was a lot bigger than Riku. It must have bitten him a few times when he was trying to kill it. Riku hadn’t noticed it got him, though. He was too focused on getting rid of the shark. It was gone for good, now, so Riku could relax some. He took Anna’s hand gently and looked at her face. She looked so peaceful for just having a shark bite her, but then again, she was unconscious right now, so she couldn’t control her facial expression. “You can stay here if you’d like. King Triton pointed to the other side of the room. Just like in some hospital rooms, there was a curtain going from one side of the room to the other. Anna’s bed was on the far side of the room, while the bed Riku would be sleeping on was closest to the door. “The nurses will come in every half hour to check on her; if you have any questions, you can ask them. You will be responsible for the girl at all times while you two are here; you seem to be responsible for her anyway. Does she have parents or guardians that we need to contact?” Riku shook his head. “I’ll trust you with that answer. By the way, what is your name, and what is hers?” King Triton got out of his seat and floated at the edge of Anna’s bed. “I’m Riku, and the girl is Anna. We’re friends of Sora.” Riku was still looking at Anna. “Oh, well, I didn’t remember seeing you before; that explains why. How is he?” Riku didn’t really know what to tell the king. “I would guess he’s fine. He’s not here with us.” Riku hoped that was enough. “Make sure you tell him I said hello next time you see him. Come by and see me before you leave.” King Triton started to leave, but he stopped and turned around. “Have I thanked you yet?” Riku hated when people made a big deal out of thanking him for doing something. He hoped the king wouldn’t do so. “It’s not necessary.” He answered. “It is. You and Anna saved my life. Thanking you is the least I could do. Make sure she knows that.” After he said that, King Triton left Riku alone with Anna. Riku found out King Triton was right about the nurses. They came in exactly every thirty minutes and checked on Anna. It got really annoying, but Riku didn’t say anything. He just sat in the chair he pulled up to Anna’s hospital bed and sat there, holding her hand. The nurses even came in at night. Riku thought they would take a break, but five nurses rotated every half hour and checked on Anna. Riku didn’t want to go to sleep, but at three in the morning, he was getting pretty tired. He wanted to keep an eye on Anna, but the nurses assured him that she would be fine while he was asleep. He stayed in the chair, still holding Anna’s hand, and fell asleep. “Nadia, when did he go to sleep last night?” It was eight thirty-two in the morning. Anna just woke up when the nurse on shift, Nadia, had come in to check on her. Nadia had to be the youngest nurse in the whole hospital; she looked like she was nineteen. “Well, when Shelly came in to check on you, he was asleep, but it was three thirty in the morning. She’s the first one that saw him asleep. He looks pretty tired.” Nadia left a clipboard on a table by the door and slowly swam out. Anna held onto Riku’s hand and sat in her bed. She sat there for two minutes, and then she decided to go to sleep. She put her head back on her pillow and laid on her side, facing Riku. She quickly dozed off. “Anna, wake up. Anna. Come on, you can’t be that tired.” Anna woke up. Riku was still sitting in his chair, but he wasn’t asleep anymore. He was tapping her shoulder gently, trying to get her to wake up. When he saw she opened her eyes, he stopped. “Hey. You feeling okay?” He looked concerned. Anna sat up in her bed and yawned. “Yea, I’m fine. Mind telling me what happened yesterday?” Anna wasn’t completely awake, and she was still confused about yesterday’s last memory. “You pushed king what’s-his-face out of the way of a shark, and it bit you instead. It got your arm, shoulder, and side.” Anna looked at her shoulder, then her arm, and then her side. “It’s King Triton, and are you sure? I don’t have anything left from it.” She tried to remember what had happened. The last thing she saw was the shark above her when she fell unconscious. “I know his name, I was just joking. Yea, they healed you pretty good from the looks of it. They said you were fine. Don’t you remember anything from the shark thing yesterday?” Anna thought for a moment, and then the memories came back to her mind. She shuddered a little when she remembered feeling the shark bite her. She remembered it letting go of her, then swimming over her as she started floating down. She couldn’t remember anything else after that. “Yea, I do. You killed the shark, right?” Riku laughed. “What? I was serious!” She was awake now, and she hit him on the arm. “Yea. It’s gone.” He kept laughing, though. “What is so funny?!” She wondered why on earth he was laughing so much. “Last night, you started talking in your sleep.” Riku stopped laughing after he said that, but he was grinning really big. ‘Oh my gosh. This is going to be embarrassing. What if I said something I didn’t want him to hear?’ She thought to herself. “What did I say?” Riku could tell she was afraid to ask, but he still grinned. “Well, you told me to stop being so loud, and I asked if you were awake, but you didn’t answer. I asked again, and you told me to shut up.” Anna closed her eyes. She felt bad for saying that, but Riku didn’t seem to mind. “That’s only slightly embarrassing. You know I didn’t mean it when I told you to shut up, right?” Riku nodded his head. He stood up, and still holding Anna’s hand, pulled her up. “Let’s go see how much your medical bill is.” He joked. Anna started laughing again. “I think you have a disease. We’ll call it the laughing disease.” Anna kept laughing. It was not the first time she’d been told she laughed too much. She really didn’t, but people just joked with her about it. When they got to the hospital doors, they both stopped. In front of them, Pierce was floating with his club of fan girls. “Hey, Anna; are you okay? My uncle told me about what happened to you, and I got here at five to wait for you.” Anna moved a little closer to Riku. “You really shouldn’t have. I’m fine. And how does your uncle know?” Anna asked as she tried to wipe the shocked look off her face. “My uncle is King Triton. He told me to come and make sure you were doing fine. But I would’ve come here anyway, even if he didn’t tell me to.” Anna faked a smile to be nice. “Well, we’re going to be leaving today, so if you don’t mind, we have to go. Bye.” Anna started to swim past Pierce with Riku when Pierce grabbed Anna’s other hand. She tried to pull it back, but he was gripping it too hard for her to. “Is there a problem, Pierce?” Riku floated up to Pierce and started at him coldly. “No, at least not if you know how to follow orders.” Riku went to pull Anna’s out of Pierce’s when one of the nurses saw that they were blocking the doors. “Hey, take it outside, away from the entrance.” She said, annoyed. Pierce, still gripping Anna’s hand, swam outside and across the street into an alleyway. The now mad fan girls dispersed when they saw Pierce holding Anna’s hand. “What do you want?” Anna asked, trying again to pull her hand away. Riku had let go of her hand when they swam out of the hospital. “I want him to get lost, and I want you to listen to me carefully.” Riku didn’t move a muscle, but he wanted to knock Pierce out cold very badly. “Fine, You can have it your way. Pierce swam backwards swiftly and pulled Anna really close to him. He let go of her hand but wrapped his arm around her side, making it unable for her to swim anywhere. On his other arm, Riku noticed he had a large knife sheath tied around his forearm. “I want you to tell King Triton that Anna would like to stay here instead of leaving. And I want you to leave without mentioning me. But before you do that, I want you to take care of someone for me. If you go to my uncle’s house, you’ll see a guy around the age of twenty. I need you to kill him; he’s next in line for the throne and I can’t let him steal my crown.” Riku was still shocked about this whole thing, but the only expression on his face was anger. “No.” Riku said simply, trying not to let his anger control him. “Fine, have it your way.” Riku watched as Pierce pulled his knife out of his sheath and held it to Anna’s throat. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Glad you guys are liking the chappies! >_< i'm a good mood today, which is odd considering the fact that this morning wasn't very good for me. & i had to do what we call 'testing' as soon as i got to school. It's like the final exams, but it's an almost nonstop test for something like two hours. Yea - not fun. & today we did algebra first, which is NOT a fun subject for me. But i'm happy now for some reason! Ok, here's the next chappie! Enjoy! Chapter 24 “Don’t even think about hurting her!” Riku yelled, this time letting the anger loose. “I will if you don’t kill my cousin. His name is Eric. And do it at night; no one will see you. Don’t worry about his mom, she loves me like a son. I can replace him in a second.” Pierce said coldly with a smirk. “I said no! And let her go; she’s not part of this!” Riku yelled as his keyblade appeared in his hand. Suddenly, Pierce jerked Anna around to face him. He sneered at Riku, then kissed Anna. She kicked her tail as hard as she could and tried to push him off of her, but it wasn’t working. Pierce then looked back at Riku, and grinned. “If you don’t kill Eric, I’ll be happy to kiss her again.” Riku couldn’t take it any longer. He charged at Pierce as fast as he could. Pierce simply held out his hand and some type of dark purple energy ball shot out of it and hit Riku’s arm. It was so powerful that it made Riku fly back and hit the wall behind him. He quickly shook it off and went at Pierce again. This time, Riku managed to attack Pierce before he made another energy ball. Riku hit Pierce’s arms hard enough to make him let go of Anna. As soon as she was free, she swam a few feet away and whipped out her keyblade. “What is your deal?!” Anna yelled out of anger. No one did something like that to her and got away with it. “So you want to fight, too? Sorry, neither of you look worth my time.” Pierce sneered as he glared at her. “Leave her out of it; this isn’t about her.” Riku said, trying to convince Pierce. “You don’t quite get it. This is about her. Here’s a secret; I’m an apprentice to a man named Shadow. He told me to watch for the Princess of Light, and when I find her, to separate her from the boy. That way, it’d be that much easier for him to capture her. Our temporary boss needs her. I wouldn’t mind keeping her here with me, though.” Riku was now about the maddest he’d been in a long time. “Shut up!” He yelled. Pierce laughed. “Your bravery is in vain.” He held out his hand and shot an energy ball at Anna, then immediately shot one at Riku. They both deflected them back at Pierce, who was hit by both of the energy balls. However, they didn’t do much damage at all. Riku rushed at Pierce again, and they both started fighting. Riku was surprised that Pierce’s knife was a good weapon in battle. Then he noticed that it was much longer than before, now it looked like a sword. Anna wouldn’t get any attacks in without hitting Riku or getting hit by Riku, so she floated a little bit away from them and waited for her chance to attack. Then, an idea popped in her head. She let her keyblade disappear and she closed her eyes for a moment. When she opened them, they were glowing like they did when she gave Riku a heart. Then, she started to glow. Not as much as the first time, but you could still see it clearly. Riku and Pierce noticed her and they both looked. Riku looked back at Pierce in a second and hit him so hard that Pierce flew into the wall that was about twenty feet behind him. Anna looked at Riku and then looked at Pierce, who was swimming top speed towards Riku ready to attack. Anna quickly got out her keyblade and got in front of Riku. Pierce immediately stopped. “What the heck is that?” Pierce asked, implying as to why she was glowing. Anna simply smiled a little. She pointed her keyblade at Pierce and shot a large beam of light at him. He tried to dodge it, but it skimmed the side of his face, leaving an evident wound. “I don’t have to tell you what this is, but I will tell you it’s the last thing you’re going to see.” Her keyblade started to glow and she charged at Pierce and stabbed him before he even had time to move a muscle. He couldn’t even yell as the blade went through him. In two seconds, he was dead. Anna pushed him off of her keyblade and he floated to the sea floor. Anna’s glow died out and her eyes returned to normal. “Mind telling me what that was?” Riku asked, stunned at what had just happened. “I don’t really know. At least Pierce is gone.” Her face suddenly got a scared look on it. “What?” Riku asked. “Now we have to tell King Triton we killed his nephew.” She said quietly. He face started to turn pale. “And we have to tell him his nephew tried to kill us. Well, he tried to kill me. But I think he would have killed you too, if his boss didn’t need you.” Riku said, trying to reassure Anna that it would be okay. However, she wasn’t buying it. “Come on, we saved the king of Atlantica; he owes us. Besides, Pierce was evil. And he tried to kill me. I think that’s a good enough reason for you to kill him. Triton will have to understand.” When Riku finished trying to assure Anna that the king wouldn’t be mad, she calmed down. “Oh my gosh. I, I killed someone. I couldn’t ever imagine killing someone before I came here. I can’t believe I just killed someone.” Anna seemed shocked at the fact that she had killed Pierce. “Uhh, well, why wouldn’t you kill him? I mean, he tried to kill me; isn’t that a good enough reason? And he wanted me to kill his own cousin. And he was an assassin-in-training. And he was evil.” Riku said, trying to get Anna to realize what she did what right. “You’re right.” She sighed, accepting the fact that she would have to get used to killing things, now that she lived in a different world. “I’m always right.” Riku joked. Anna just rolled her eyes. “Yea, you wish. But you forgot the main reason I killed him.” Riku thought about it for a second. “He kissed me! Did you not see that! I could’ve killed him on the spot! No one ever does anything like that to me and gets away with it!” She play hit him on the arm just for not noticing Pierce kissed her. “No! I noticed! I promise! I tried to kill him! Really!” Anna laughed; she was just joking. She knew he noticed. “Let’s go talk to Triton. We should probably leave after we talk to him, though. Now that we’re done with all the worlds, we should be able to find Sora and Kairi pretty easily.” He motioned for Anna to follow and they swam towards the king’s throne room. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Glad you liked it! Here's the next chappie; it's shorter than most of them. Enjoy! Chappie 25 “He was here?! And what did he do again?!” Anna looked at the angry King Triton with a confused look. They were now talking to the king about Pierce. Anna made Riku start the conversation so she wouldn’t have to. But the king was responding totally different than they had expected. “Umm, yea, he was here. He tried to kill me because I wouldn’t kill his cousin, Eric. And he tried to take Anna captive. If we didn’t kill him first, he would have killed me and Eric.” Riku explained, trying to convince the furious King Triton. “How dare he even think about coming back into the city!” King Triton gripped his scepter tightly, trying to control his anger. “Would you mind explaining to us what you’re talking about?” Anna asked calmly, she and Riku were completely confused. “I’m sorry. I should have told you as soon as you brought up the subject. Pierce is my nephew, as you know. But he was not supposed to be in the city anymore. I banished him from Atlantica when he attempted to kill Eric. I didn’t know he came back. I told the guards to watch for him, but I guess he kept himself out of their sight. I am very sorry about the trouble he has caused you. If there is anything I can do to make it up to you, let me know.” King Triton’s grip on his scepter had loosened and he was back to his calm self. “I guess you didn’t send him to see me, then. Well, thanks, but we’ll be fine. We actually need to leave Atlantica now; we have to find Sora and Kiari.” Anna said. “Well, when you find them, tell them I said hello. Oh, and before you leave, take these.” King Triton looked around the room. “Where is he now?” He muttered under his breath. “Sebastian!” A small red crab came swimming at top speed towards the king with a tiny box. “Yes, your highness?” The crab asked, trying to catch his breath. “Where have you been? Never mind that. Is that the box?” Sebastian nodded his hand and handed the box to King Triton. “This is for you two. It is my way of thanking you for saving my life. I could never repay you, but I would still like you to have this.” He handed the small box to Anna, who lifted the lid and looked inside. “What kind of orbs are these?” She asked. There were four glowing blue orbs in the box. “If you use those orbs, you will be able to turn into your underwater form at any time you wish. They last forever, so you only need one. The other two are for Sora and your other friend.” He explained. “Thanks for the gift, but we should really get going now.” Riku said abruptly. “Well, be sure you come back and visit. Goodbye, and be sure you tell Sora and his friend I said hello.” And with that, Anna and Riku said goodbye and left. Once they were back on the gummi ship, Riku immediately set the coordinates for Twilight Town. “Why are we going to Twilight Town? Shouldn’t we check Maleficent's castle for Sora and Kiari first?” Anna asked, confused at why he set the gummi ship for Twilight Town so quickly. “Namine told me to go to the White Room as fast as I could. I just heard her tell me to. That’s why I said we had to go right then.” He said as he sat down by Anna, who was sitting in the back. “Oh. Will she be there?” Anna asked quickly, trying to think of what this was about. “I don’t know. But I do know something bad going to happen soon. And it’ll be at the mansion.” He said; sounding very serious. Anna looked out the window to see where they were. She only saw black space and stars. There weren’t any worlds nearby. She looked at the floor with a worried expression. Riku noticed she looked kind of nervous. “Don’t worry.” He said reassuringly, even though he wasn’t very reassured himself. Anna didn’t look up or say anything back. For the rest of the time until they got to Twilight Town, they sat in silence, both hardly moving at all. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | I know it was short, but i wanted it that way! Ok, here's the next chappie. It's another short one, but my friend says it's good. Hope you guys think the same! Enjoy! Chappie 26 “Ready?” Riku and Anna now stood in front of the mansion gates. “I guess so.” She replied. She started walking through the courtyard slowly. Riku caught up to her and then kept at her pace. “I think we should hurry.” Anna said out of nowhere, then she grabbed Riku’s arm and ran into the mansion. He was running right beside her, but she didn’t let go of his arm. She didn’t notice he was beside her because she wouldn’t look away from the path in front of her. She was scared. Scared of what was about to happen, because they both knew something bad was about to happen, and no one had to tell them. That seemed more than a coincidence to Anna. When she stood in front of the White Room door, she let go of Riku’s arm and got her keyblade out silently. Riku did the same. Anna bit her lip as she twisted the doorknob. As soon as she started to open the door, Riku got in front of her and walked in, wanting to make sure Anna would be safe. But Anna pushed her way in and stood beside him, but she stood absolutely still and stared at what was in front of her and Riku. “Sora, come on, wake up! Sora!” “Kiari?” Anna slowly walked forward. Kairi was kneeling on the floor, shaking Sora’s shoulders. Sora was lying on the floor, and he wasn’t awake. Anna saw teardrops on Sora’s face, but the tears apparently came from Kiari, who was trying her best not to cry, although it wasn’t working. “Anna? Sora won’t wake up! I’ve been trying for ten minutes now, and he won’t wake up!” Kiari said frantically, shaking Sora’s shoulders again. Anna knelt down beside her and looked at Sora’s face. It looked lifeless and expressionless, and she couldn’t tell if he was breathing. “Kiari, what happened?” Riku said as he knelt down on the other side of Sora. “Maleficent brought us here and she stabbed Sora with the bottom of her staff. He dropped here like this, but it didn’t leave a mark where he got stabbed. Maleficent disappeared after that. Why won’t he wake up?” Kiari kept looking at Sora’s face and shaking his shoulders. She was crying now, and her tears fell on Sora’s face so that it looked like he was crying. Anna checked Sora’s pulse; it was fine. She had to listen really hard, but she could hear him breathing shallowly. “He should be fine.” Anna said as she looked up at Kiari, who seemed slightly less concerned now. “Kiari, have you and Sora been with Maleficent this whole time?” Riku asked, changing the subject. “Yea. She kept a real close eye on us ever since she took us captive, or hostage, or whatever you want to call it. She said that if one of us tried to stop her from carrying out her plans, she would kill the other immediately. I couldn’t stand to have Sora die, and he felt the same about me, so we had to keep quiet.” Kiari finally looked up at Anna and Riku. “It’s good to see you guys again.” She mentioned, smiling as best as she could at the moment. “But you hardly even know me.” Anna said, not really thinking Kiari would say something like that. “Well, I don’t really have to know you all that well. I’ve met you before, and since you’ve been trying to find me and Sora, I’m happy to see you.” She said. Anna started to ask how she knew her and Riku came looking for them, but she stopped when Kiari gasped. “Sora? Sora! Oh my gosh, I thought I lost you!” Kiari almost screamed as she hugged Sora. He had barely opened his eyes, yet that was enough for Kiari to notice. But Sora didn’t hug her back. He just pushed her off and stood up. Anna, Kiari, and Riku stood up too. “Are you okay?” Kiari asked. Sora seemed different somehow. He looked at Kiari and she looked at his eyes. They weren’t blue anymore. They had turned a deep purple color that almost looked black. He whipped out his keyblade and pointed it at Kiari. She instantly jumped back, and she got a very hurt look on her face. “Sora, what’s wrong with you?” Riku asked as he pushed the tip of the kingdom key away from Kiari. Sora looked at Riku and glared at him coldly. “Nothing. Now get lost and don’t interfere with my fights ever again.” He pointed the keyblade back at Kairi, who stepped back again. “Sora, this isn’t funny.” Anna said as she took a step towards him. He turned to face her. “Fine. If you want to interfere too, I’ll just have to get rid of all three of you. I was only planning on one person, but I’ll have more fun with killing three.” He said with a smirk. Kiari’s face turned pale and her knees started shaking. She drew her keyblade out and held it tightly. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “What did Maleficent do to you?” Riku asked Sora. “Who cares!” Sora shouted as he tried to slash Riku, but Riku dodged it. “Try not to hurt him badly; he’s under some kind of trance. He’s not himself.” Riku told the other two. “Shut up already!” Sora yelled. He opened a portal and ran through. Without thinking, Riku ran in after him, followed by Anna, who grabbed Kiari’s arm and pulled her alongside her. Right before Anna ran in the portal, Kiari jerked her arm away. “Kiari, come on, we gotta go before the portal closes!” But Kiari wouldn’t move. “What’s wrong with him?” She asked quietly, unable to find enough strength in her voice to say it louder. “I don’t know, but he’ll be fine.” Anna grabbed Kiari’s arm and turned back around to the portal just as it started to close. In one second, a million thoughts raced through Anna’s head. She had seen this happen before in the game. Sora, Donald, and Goofy were going to jump in a portal after Saiix, but they didn’t make it in. Another time, Kiari had walked through the portal. Sora and Riku were walking in after her. But the portal closed right in front of them before they got through. Anna was determined to make it through, because she was even more determined to help Sora return to normal. In a split second, Anna ran and dove into the portal, and tried to pull Kiari with her. However, Anna’s grip slipped on Kiari’s arm and Kiari fell back into the white room. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Ok, here's the next chappie! Enjoy! (i realized the other day that i ALWAYS say either "hope you like it", "hope you guys like it", or "enjoy!". I'm getting pretty repetitive...i'll have to think of something else to say...) Chappie 27 Right as the portal closed, Anna pulled Kiari in after her as quickly as she could. Anna fell to the ground as Kiari flew in and landed on her. Anna groaned a little as she pushed Kiari off of her. Kiari sat up and helped Anna sit up. Kiari was about to thank her, but she was interrupted by a loud crashing noise. Anna and Kiari both looked behind them and saw that Riku had flew into a wall and smashed through it. In a millisecond, Anna rushed over to him. “Riku, are you okay?!” Anna took his hand and helped him up. He stood up and brushed himself off. “Yea, I’m fine. You can check on Sora, if he’ll let you. He should be on the other side of the whole in that wall.” Anna turned around and saw a large whole in the wall on the other side of the room. Sure enough, she saw Sora stand up on the other side. She ran over to see if he was okay, and Kiari was running right behind her. But they both suddenly stopped. Sora had whipped out his keyblade and was now walking towards them with anger flashing in his dark eyes. “Right; he hates us right now.” Anna reminded herself. “Kiari, do you think you can fight?” Anna whispered, knowing what they would have to do. “I don’t think so.” Kiari’s eyes welled up with tears. “Stay around the door and as close to the wall as you can get.” Anna whispered back. Kiari fought back the urge to cry as she ran to the side of the room, where there was a double door. Anna didn’t recognize this room; she hadn’t seen it in any of the Kingdom Hearts video games. She forgot about that thought and got out her keyblade. “Oh, so you have one now, too. You better enjoy it while you can.” Sora charged at Anna, but she quickly put up her keyblade and blocked it. She heard Riku running at Sora from behind her. Sora heard him, too, and looked at him long enough for Anna to shove him back away from her. “How are we supposed to get him back to normal?” Anna asked as Riku shot Dark Aurora at Sora to keep him from attacking. “Well, it’s a spell Maleficent put on him, so we have to reverse it or get it off of him somehow.” Riku replied as he charged at Sora. Sora ran at Riku, and they both hit each other with a blow of their keyblades. “Don’t hurt him!” Kiari shouted, seeing that Sora was getting hurt. “Doing my best!” Riku shouted back as he blocked Sora’s relentless attacks. Suddenly, Anna ran over to Kiari and knelt down beside her. Kiari looked at Anna with eyes full of tears that continuously ran down her cheeks. “Kiari, I need you to help me do something. If we both use our light, we might be able to turn Sora back to normal.” Kiari looked at Sora. She could tell that he was the farthest thing from being himself. He was trying to kill them all now, and Kiari knew she had to do something. “Okay, but how am I supposed to use my light? And how do I know when I’m using it?” “You’ll know when you’re using it; trust me. When I’ve used my light, all I did was think about what I wanted to do, and it worked. That doesn’t mean we can do whatever we want using light, but we should be able to change Sora-” Anna stopped mid sentence when she heard Riku yell. She turned around quickly to find Sora’s keyblade sticking through Riku’s shoulder. “Could you try to change him back a little faster?! He’s stronger than normal!” Riku shouted as he pulled Sora’s keyblade out of his shoulder and stood back up to fight. “Working on it!” Anna yelled back. “Kiari, think about changing Sora back to normal, okay? Close your eyes and really focus on it.” Kiari nodded her head and closed her eyes. She thought about how much she loved Sora, and how much she knew he cared for her, despite the fact he was trying to kill her. She knew he wasn’t himself. ‘Sora…I know you’re still in there somewhere.’ She thought to herself. She knew she could change him back. All of the sudden, her keyblade appeared in her hands. She opened her eyes to find that it was glowing brightly, like it was full of light. ‘But, I can’t, why would I have to use this?’ She thought. Anna looked at Kiari’s keyblade, also. She closed her eyes for a moment, and when she opened them, they were glowing just like they had done before when she used her light. Her keyblade appeared in her hand; it was glowing brightly, too. “Um, Kiari, I know this will be hard for you, but; we’re going to have to use these to change him back.” Kiari didn’t understand at first, but she caught on right after. “Okay.” Kiari whispered. They both stood up and looked at Riku and Sora. “Ready?” Anna looked over at Kiari. “As I’ll ever be.” A few tears fell from her eyes and hit the ground. She looked over at Anna, who nodded at her, signaling to go. They both charged at Sora as fast as they could, ready to do what they had to. |
