Ok, so, here's the next chappie! (at this moment i can't think of anything i need to ask you guys...) Hope you like it!

Chappie 20

“Hey, how far away is Atlantica?” “Thirty minutes. The gummi ship’s engine isn’t doing great, so we have to go slower.” Riku answered. So, what do you want to talk about for the next half hour?” Anna asked. Riku smiled at her. “Well, I have a nobody, you can give hearts to people without sacrificing your own, and Shadow’s been hired by someone. You pick the topic.” Riku said. “Who would hire someone to kill me? I mean, what have I ever done to anyone here? And Maleficent doesn’t want me dead, so, who is it?” Anna asked, trying to think of someone who wanted to kill her besides Shadow.

“Maybe Maleficent did hire him. She might be trying to confuse us. We haven’t seen her since she took Sora and Kairi, so she has to know which world we’re at somehow. Maybe she hired Shadow to confuse us and to inform her on where we are.” Riku said. “Ya know; that could be what’s actually happening. If that’s true, then we’ll have to get rid of Shadow; but that’s on our agenda already, wasn’t it?” Anna asked. Riku nodded his head. “So, want to talk about anything else? Like something that’s not evil or out to kill us?” Anna asked sarcastically.

“Well, we could talk about your life on Earth. You haven’t talked about that at all since you’ve been here.” Riku said. He had given her time to open up about her past, but she didn’t seem to want to ever talk about it. “I’m sorry. It’s just, not the funnest thing to talk about.” Anna said, looking at the floor. Riku got up from where he was sitting and sat down beside her. “Not talking about it isn’t going to make your past go away.” Riku mentioned. Anna finally decided he was right.

“When I was younger, I had lots of friends. Then, most of my friends transferred to another school, so I never saw them again. When I was a little older, I made some new friends, but they turned into jerks. Later on, I met Emily and Bethany, and everything went uphill after that. The just of it is that a few years of my life were spent trying to find friends, and getting rejected by everyone else. And now, I don’t even know if my best friends remember me. It hurts, ya know?”

“So that’s why you don’t like talking about your past?” Riku asked. “Yea, I just thought that if I didn’t talk about it, that I would forget it. But that’s not working. So, could we maybe not talk anymore about it?” Anna asked, looking up at Riku. “Yea. We have about twenty-five minutes left until we get there. So, what do you want to talk about now?” Riku asked. “Well, I think that the dream I had on Destiny Islands was sent to me by Namine. I don’t think Maleficent knows I’m the Princess of Light.” Anna said. “And the ‘most random’ award goes to Anna. Again.” Riku said sarcastically. Anna had a tendency to spit out random stuff, so Riku liked to tease her about it. “Yea, that’s absolutely hilarious, Riku.” Anna said. “Hello.”

Anna jumped and almost screamed. They both turned towards the front of the gummi ship, and saw Namine standing there. “When did you get here?” Anna asked. Riku started to laugh. He thought she was going to scream at the top of her lungs when he saw how startled she was. Anna elbowed him in his ribs to make him stop. “I just opened a portal. I came here to give you this.” Namine answered. She handed Anna a piece of paper. “This is one of the Ansem reports; it’s about the Princess of Light.” Anna said as she scanned over the paragraphs on the page. Namine nodded her head. “And yes, I did send you that dream. I have to go now. Goodbye.” Namine said. She opened a portal and walked into it. “That was a bit weird.” Riku said as the portal closed. Anna was too busy already reading the report to hear him. She started over so she could read it out loud. It read:

"Ansem report – Princess of Light

The Princess of Light is a powerful person that can give people hearts without sacrificing her own. She does not give them their hearts back, but she remakes their heart and gives it to them. She can only do this if she is connected to the person receiving the heart. She has more light than any other being; therefore making her very powerful. She can perform very large attacks using her light, so that whomever it is meant to harm cannot stop it. However, if she uses all her light at the same time, she can permanently defeat the enemy she is using it on."


“That was really short.” Anna said. She had expected it to be longer. “Yea, it was. Well, now we how a little more about the Princess of Light. At least it explains the thing about you giving hearts to people.” Riku said, looking away from the paper to look at Anna. “I’m gonna put this in the bedroom.” Anna said as she stood up and walked in the small room and placed it on the bed.

“So, what’s your school like?” Anna asked as she sat back down beside Riku. “Well, you get to pick some of your classes. We have to wear uniforms, unfortunately. Um, well, if you want a summary, I can tell you school is boring.” Riku laughed. Anna rolled her eyes. “It’s not that bad, as long as you have friends in your classes.” Anna said. She tried to think of another thing to talk about. “So, what dances do you have at your school?”

“We have Prom, Homecoming, Sadie Hawkins, and a some spring dance. Is that what you had at your school?” He asked. “Yea. Have you ever gone to any of them?” Anna thought it was a stupid question to ask a guy who probably never wanted to go to one. “No. I’ve never had anyone to go with, and I never really wanted to. Kairi went with some of her friends last year, but me and Sora haven’t gone to one. I keep getting asked to Sadie Hawkins, though. It kinda annoys me.” He replied.

“How much longer till Atlantica? This is taking forever.” Anna said. She felt like she was in a car driving from one side of a nation to the other. “ Ten minutes.” Riku answered, looking at the gummi ship’s controls. “Ugh. Hey, hand me my ipod really quick.” Anna said. Riku handed it to her and she turned it on. She offered him an earpiece as she looked through the artists on it. He took it and put it in his ear. They had something like an ipod on Destiny Islands. It was called a sound square. She put the other earpiece in her ear and picked an artist. “You said you have Sadie Hawkins at your school. There’s a song I want you to hear.” She said as she smiled. She scrolled through the list of songs and found the one she wanted. She showed Riku the screen. It was a band called Relient k, and the song was called Sadie Hawkins Dance.

Sadie Hawkins isn't a person (maybe there's someone w/ that name, but that's not what this is about.); it's a dance at schools where the girl asks a guy to go w/ her instead of a guy asking a girl. I've only heard of that dance here in America (where i am), so maybe they don't have it in other nations (maybe they have it in Canada, & nations like that). Ok now i'm just talking a lot. If you want to hear the song, just look up "relient k - sadiw hawkins" on youtube & watch a vid w/ the song.

Chappie 21

“Do we just jump in the water, or what?” Anna asked. They had just landed the gummi ship on a very small island out in the middle of the ocean, and they were standing at the water’s edge. It was a little freaky for Anna, because she had never been good at swimming, and the island didn’t go any further into the ocean. It just dropped off, so you could see water as far down as you could look. “Um, you said you turned into a mermaid thing if you were in the water, right?” Riku asked.

“Yea, that’s what I said.” Anna tried not to look into the water so she wouldn’t freak herself out. She loved to swim, but not in water this deep. And she wasn’t really all that good at swimming in the first place. “If I jump in first, you have to jump in after me, okay?” Riku didn’t even look at Anna. He just dove into the water. She waited anxiously for him to come back up. His head came above the water and he looked up at her. “Yea, it’s fine. You can’t drown if you can breathe under water. Come on.” Anna looked at him. Since she trusted him, she dove into the water without taking a breath before she went under. Once she was underwater, she saw Riku swim up to her. He had a dolphin tail like Sora, but Riku’s was black and gray.

He still seemed a little freaked out about not having legs, but Anna could see he was getting over it. “Do you know exactly where Atlantica is?” Riku asked. Anna thought for a moment. “We’re in it, but the city has to be really close.” She said. She looked at her long tail now replacing her legs. It was almost the same color of her outfit she had worn before she jumped in the water. She now had on a white strapless top that went down to the middle of her stomach. “I think it’s that way.” Anna pointed towards what looked to be a spot in the water that seemed to glow. She guessed it was the city. She took Riku’s hand and swam towards it.

When they finally got close enough, they saw that it was the city. “I wonder if we’ll see Ariel at all.” Anna mentioned. Riku didn’t have a clue why they wouldn’t. “She got married and she’s a human now. She lives on land.” Anna explained. They kept swimming until they got to the city. When they reached the open area in front of the throne room, they looked around, and no one was there. They swam into the throne room, but King Triton wasn’t there.

“It can’t be heartless; they can’t be underwater like this. They couldn’t have taken him.” Anna said, trying to think of an explanation. “There’s a note in his chair.” Riku said. He swam over and grabbed a small piece of paper. After he read it, he looked back at Anna. “They are having King Triton’s birthday party in the city. He’s supposed to be back later tonight.” Riku put the piece of paper back and floated over to Anna. So, you think we should go talk to him to see if everything’s been alright?” He asked. “Not right now. He’s having his birthday party. We’ll wait awhile.” She answered. They swam back into the open area outside the throne room.

“Anna, I’ve already asked you this, but, do you want to go home after this is all over?” Riku held his breath. He couldn’t even stand the thought of watching her leave to never come back. “No. I’m pretty sure I belong here. I just wish I could see Bethany and Emily.” She replied. Riku let his breath out. “Thanks again for being such a good friend. You’re the best guy friend I’ve ever had.” She said. “You’re the same for me.” He said. “I’m the best guy friend you’ve ever had? Well, I hate to break it to ya, but I’m a girl.” Anna joked. “You know what I mean.” He laughed. “Yea, I do.” She smiled.

“Your hair’s in my eyes.” Riku said. “Oh, sorry.” Anna laughed a bit. She gathered all her hair and started to put it in a ponytail. “I would put it up, but I don’t have any kind of hair ties.” Anna said as she let go of her hair. “It’s fine. It looks good when it’s down.” Riku realized what he said and he felt like banging his head against a brick wall. First, he had to fess up that he really liked her, and now, he was accidentally saying things like this. It wasn’t that he didn’t want her to know those things; it was that sometimes he seemed to accidentally say what he was thinking about her. He’d never had that problem with anyone else.

“Well, I would tell you the same thing, but I don’t think I want you to wear your hair in a ponytail.” She joked. “Yea, you won’t have to worry about that.” He said. Anna looked into his eyes, like she had done many times before. Riku looked into hers and found he couldn’t get out of his daze. Her blonde hair was floating around her face. He wiped it away from her eyes. He grabbed her hand gently. She blushed some as she was still looking in his eyes.

Suddenly, Riku, still holding her hand, pulled her beside him. He quickly let go of her hand and whipped out his keyblade, ready to attack. “What’s wrong?” Riku looked around for a minute, then relaxed. He let his keyblade vanish, and he turned around to Anna, who looked confused and scared. “I thought I saw purple electricity behind you. Like the kind Shadow used.” Anna only looked confused now. “But there’s no one else in here.” Riku shrugged. He was still sure he saw it, but he didn’t want to scare Anna, so he just did his best to forget about it. He swam up in front of Anna and took her hand again. She smiled, first off because of Riku, and secondly because she thought the little episode that just took place was pretty funny. Riku had to smile now that she was smiling; her smile was contagious. When he looked into her eyes again, he forgot about everything else.

Anna blushed again and opened her mouth to say something, but she looked like she couldn’t find the words to say. “What is it?” Riku asked. “I know I’ve said this a lot, but, thanks. For bringing me here, from Earth. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I feel like Destiny Islands is my home now, and I don’t want to leave. Ever.” Riku was seriously happy to hear that she wanted to stay for sure. She’d said she didn’t want to leave before, but this time, he finally understood she really meant it.

He took her other hand gently and looked at her with calm green eyes. He wanted to tell her how much he cared for her, but he couldn’t find the words to. He felt pretty stupid, not being able to say something even as simple as “I like you a lot”. He couldn’t even bring himself to say something that easy, so he just kept his mouth shut. Anna realized what he wanted to say, even though he never said anything. She blushed as he let go of her hands and wrapped his arms around her. She put her arms around him and hugged him back. She closed her eyes and smiled.

Riku never thought he could like a girl he’d known for two and a half months this much. Anna thought the same thing about liking him so much. He let go of her and asked if she wanted to sit down. She said that she didn’t care. He took her hand and swam over to a flat rock. They sat down. Anna flipped her tail some. When she was little, she always said she wanted to be a mermaid when she grew up. She laughed to herself; she never thought she’d actually get to be one, even if it was only for a while. She laid down on her back and looked at the sunbeams running through the water. Riku laid on his back also. He held onto her hand.

“How’s your stomach?” He suddenly asked. “What?” Anna didn’t have a clue what he was talking about. “Where Shadow stabbed you.” He said. “It’s fine. You can’t see a scar or anything.” She said, still looking at the sun rays. Everything the sun rays shone on seemed to glow. She felt where the spike had stabbed her. “You can’t even feel a scar or whatever a wound like that should have left.” She mentioned. She took Riku’s hand and made him feel where the scar would have been if she had gotten one. “See? You can’t feel anything.” She said as she laid his hand on the rock they were on. She combed through some of her hair.

Suddenly, she felt something poke the side of her stomach. She squirmed, since she was ticklish. “Was that you?” She asked. Riku didn’t answer. He just grinned. Anna went back to messing with her hair. She felt him poke her side again. “Quit it; I’m ticklish!” She said as she pushed his hand away. He started laughing. “You shouldn’t have said that.” He said as he grinned even more. ‘Oh great.’ She thought to herself. Riku went to poke her again. “I said quit it!” She said as she laughed. She pushed Riku’s hands away and she swam off the rock. Riku swam off and floated towards her.

“Come on, don’t run off on me again.” He said, still grinning. “Try to keep up!” She said. She stuck out her tongue and flipped her tail really hard so it made a cloud of bubbles. Riku swam through it and saw her swimming towards the city. He immediately started to swim after her. In a few minutes, he was only a few feet behind her. She noticed he kept getting closer and she picked up her speed. She could go faster than Riku because she had a slim body shape, enabling her to glide through the water quicker. Riku wasn’t as fast as her, but he managed to keep up. Once they were almost in the city, Riku got close enough to Anna to grab the fins on her tail and pulled her back. She tried to swim out of his grip, but she couldn’t. “Fine, you got me.” She said. He let go of her fins, but made sure she wasn’t going to take off again. He reached out at her like he was going to poke her, but she pushed his hand back. “Just kidding.” He said. Anna took her hand back and they both swam into the city.

Glad you guys liked it! I'm thinking about putting up a thread in the Fan Art (or whatever it's called- i can't remember right now) section to have some pics of Anna & her keyblade, & other stuff. The only thing is, i'm going to have to draw them. I can draw really well, so don't worry, you'll be able to tell what the pics supposed to be! lol I might just find a pic of an anime girl's face that looks like Anna, & put that on there, cause i'm not as good w/ drawing the entire face. So tell me if you think i should! Ok, here's the next chappie, hope ya like it!

Chappie 22

Anna looked around. There were ribbons, streamers, and party decorations everywhere. “When a king has a birthday party, it must be pretty big.” Riku mentioned. They were floating through the crowded city streets, looking for King Triton. “Uh, he’s the King. Of course it’s big.” Anna said. “Hey, is that him?” Riku asked. He was pointing towards a large crowd of people farther off. Anna had to swim above the people around her to see if he was in the crowd or not. “Yea. Let’s go talk to him.” She said as she started weaving through people to get to him. Riku followed closely.

“Thank you all for another wonderful birthday. I am very sorry to say I must be going now. I have some business I must attend to.” King Triton talked loudly so everyone could hear him. “We’ll catch him when he’s out of the crowd.” Anna told Riku. “What’s your name?” Anna and Riku turned to their right to see a merman that looked to be Riku’s age. “Me?” Anna pointed to herself. “Yea.” The merman said. He had bleach blonde hair and a dark green tail. There was a flock of young mermaids floating behind him.

They were glaring at Anna with eyes that threw daggers at her. He was obviously the dream boy for the bubbly girls floating behind him. “Um, Anna. And you are?” She was keeping her eye on the king, making sure to notice when he got out of the crowd. “My name’s Pierce. Are you new here? I’d be happy to show you around.” The girls behind Pierce were getting mad at Anna. They thought she was stealing their guy. Then some of them noticed Riku and started waving at him and giggling. Riku rolled his eyes. “Um, yea, I’m new here, but I can find my way around. Thanks for the offer, though.” Anna couldn’t see the king anymore; Pierce was floating in front of her now. She tried to look around him, but she still couldn’t see.

“Well, do you want to hang out or do something?” Anna was getting annoyed at him. Riku was already annoyed; this guy hadn’t even noticed him yet, and he was trying to score a date with Anna. “No, we’re pretty busy right now. We have to talk to someone. And this is my friend, Riku.” She said as she grabbed Riku’s hand and pulled him beside her. When Pierce looked at Riku, he instantly gave Riku eyes that told him to get lost. Riku glared at him. “Um, we kinda have to go now.” Anna said. She started to swim around Pierce, but he took her hand that wasn’t holding Riku’s. She faced him and drew her hand back immediately. “Can you meet me in the town square at five tonight?” He asked as persuasive as he could. Riku felt like punching Pierce into oblivion. He pulled Anna close to him protectively. Pierce saw Riku do so, but he acted like he didn’t.

“No. Riku’s my boyfriend, and we have plans tonight.” Anna glared at Pierce and swam past him, gripping Riku’s hand. The girls giggled and waved at Riku, then flocked all around Pierce. “Oh my gosh, that was creepy.” Anna said as she looked for King Triton in the street. “My boyfriend and I have plans tonight? Where did that come from?” Riku asked, partially joking, but at the same time wondering why she said that. “Oh, sorry. It’s just the best way to get guys like that to leave you alone without lying.” She started weaving through some people in front of her. “I didn’t know I was your boyfriend. When did that happen?” Riku was a little confused by what she said.

“You’re my friend, and you’re a boy. That would make you my boyfriend. I didn’t have to tell Pierce that we weren’t going out. And we do have plans tonight; we just don’t know what they are yet.” She said. Riku laughed. “Is that what girls think about in their spare time? How to get annoying guys to leave you alone?” Riku laughed. “Oh yea; you know it.” She joked back. “There’s King what’s-his-face.” Riku said as he looked at King Triton swimming out of the city. “His name is King Triton, if you haven’t heard me the last fifty times I’ve mentioned his name. We better hurry up if we want to catch him.” She said. She started swimming towards the city gates as fast as she could.

“So how long do you think it’ll be before she leaves you for me?” Riku turned around to find Pierce and his group of fan girls swim up behind him. Riku just grinned; this guy wasn’t going to give up easy. “What? You shouldn’t be smiling. I get every girl I want, and the girls I don’t.” He nodded arrogantly to the group of girls behind him. Riku noticed there seemed to be more girls this time. “Get a grip.” Riku said as he started to swim after Anna. “Is that all you’re gonna say?” Pierce asked, trying to sound as intimidating as he could. Riku tried not to laugh; this guy was pathetic. He just swam off after Anna quickly, trying to find her.

“Try waiting for me next time you decide you want to run off.” Riku said. He floated up to Anna, who had been waiting for him outside the city gates. “I was waiting for you. Well, at least when I got here. What took you so long?” She looked at Riku. “Well, all these girls came up to me all at once and everyone of them begged me to go on a date with them. But, I had to turn them down. I can’t make everyone happy, ya know.” Riku grinned. Anna rolled her eyes. “You are so bad at lying.” She joked.

“Actually, I can be pretty good at it.” He laughed. Anna started to laugh with him, but she stopped. “Did you see that?” She looked to their right; she thought she saw something swim by farther away. “What was it?” Riku asked. She had been the first to always see Shadow, so Riku learned that when she thought she saw something, she most likely did. “Nothing. It was probably a mermaid. King Triton’s still heading that way. Let’s go.” She said. She went to take off towards him, but Riku grabbed her hand and took off first. She quickly got right beside him. “That was payback, wasn’t it? For all the times I’ve done that to you.” She smiled.

“Hey, there’s the king. I think he’s heading for land. Why would he be doing that?” Anna thought for a moment. “Maybe he’s meeting Ariel. It is his birthday, so she probably wants to talk to him.” Anna was pretty sure that was the reason. She and Riku picked up their speed, trying to get to King Triton before he reached the shore. “There it is again. I don’t think that’s a mermaid.” Anna pointed towards her left. Riku looked in the direction she pointed; he saw something farther off. “I think it’s coming this way.” Riku said, noticing it seemed to be getting bigger.

“Are there any sharks in this part of the ocean?” Riku asked Anna. “I don’t know, but it’s starting to look like there are.” Anna whispered. She had been in the tunnel aquariums in some places that had sharks, but the sharks had never scared her. She wasn’t scared yet, but she thought she was going to be if the thing got any closer. “It’s headed for the king!” Anna said. She raced towards the king, who was oblivious to the fact a shark was about to attack him. Riku raced towards the king also, figuring he could get the shark when it went for King Triton. Right about the time Anna reached the king, he turned around and saw the shark, but it was already only a yard away from him. He didn’t even have time to put his arms up in defense.

Then he suddenly felt something hit him really hard in his side so that he flew out of the shark’s path. When he looked up, he saw a young merman stabbing the shark with a sword like Sora’s, and a young mermaid slowly floating to the ocean floor. She looked to be unconscious, and she was bleeding badly. Before he could even try to swim to her, the boy had already swam down and caught her. “Don’t do this to me. Please.” Riku whispered to Anna as he held her in his arms. “Boy, what just happened?” King Triton floated down to Riku and looked at Anna. “There was a shark coming at you. She pushed you out of the shark’s way, but it got her instead. The shark won’t be coming back, though.” Riku had stabbed the shark all the way through its side because he saw what it did to Anna before he killed it.

“She needs to get to the doctor right away. That’s a very bad wound.” King Triton looked at Anna’s large shark bite. She was bleeding from her shoulder, arm, and side. The shark, being very big, had a very big bite. “Come with me and I’ll get her some help.” King Triton swam at a speed so fast Riku couldn’t keep up with him. He had to be careful with Anna, and he had to look for any more sharks that had caught the scent of her blood.

King Triton suddenly stopped and turned around to Riku. “I hate to tell you this, but if she doesn’t get to the doctor soon, she’ll die. Let me take her there. She’ll get there quicker if I do.” Riku really didn’t want to have Anna out of his sight right now, but King Triton was right; she would get there faster if he took her. Riku handed Anna to King Triton carefully, and the king held her like she weighed as much as a feather. “I’ll have someone waiting at the gates for you.” Riku grabbed one of King Triton’s arms before he took off. “She’ll be alright, won’t she?” Riku asked. King Triton looked down at Anna. It was one of the worst wounds he’d ever seen or heard of. There was a very evident trail of blood behind them from her wound. “I don’t know.” And with that, he turned around and was out of Riku’s sight within a few seconds.

i'm a little upset at the moment - i just realized i lost almost all of the ppl that started out reading this ff don't read it anymore. Or they just don't comment. That's upsetting to me!!! But i want to thank you guys that still do read it - it makes me feel better! But still, i kinda wonder why they don't read this ff anymore...they liked it for the most part, from what they said in their comments...

Hm, I don't know really for the most part they probably just aren't as active on the forums as much anymore that's the main reason why I think that they don't comment anymore. But otherwise I really enjoyed reading all of your updates.
