I read your ff chappie & prequel, KH_Fanatic, & i loved them! I think they're a really great start to a ff!
Ok, well here's the next chappie! Hope you enjoy it! It's the 50th chappie! I feel like i should have, like, a mini-party or something! lol

Chapter 50

“Where do you think she is?” Sora and Kairi were walking up some steps at the World that Never Was. They were both a little tired, but they slept on the way there, so they were more awake when they arrived. “I don’t know. I haven’t seen or heard anyone at all yet. Just nobodies. But we’ve only covered about a third of this world.” Sora said in reply.

“Seriously? Oh my gosh, this place is too big.” Kairi sighed. “Kai, it’s pretty much just as big as any other world.” “Well it must have got bigger or something, cause we’ve been here for a long time.” Kairi sighed again. Sora laughed. “We’ve only been here for an hour.” “I know; I just want to get this over with. I want to get back to the islands. I miss home.” Sora looked at Kairi and saw that she was getting sad. “Hey, don’t worry. I miss home too, but we’ll be there soon enough.”

He stopped walking and took her hand so she would stop walking when he noticed she wasn’t buying what he said, even though he was telling the truth. “Kai, I’ll get you home, I promise. We’ll all go home after this is over. I don’t know if Anna will go back to her home, but I know you, me, and Riku will go back for sure. We’ll go home and we can be with Tidus, Selphie, and Wakka again.” Sora looked at Kairi with eyes full of sympathy. She was seriously homesick, and he knew it. “Kai, why are you so upset? We’ll get home, I promise.”

Kairi looked up at him. “I just, it’s not that I’m homesick, it’s just that…well, I am really homesick, but…” Sora smiled slightly. “Come on, just say it.” Kairi smiled. He was always so happy at the right moments. “I want to go home, but that’s not why I’m upset. I want to know that we’ll all stay there, together. It’s not enough to be home, I want all of us to be there. I just want to know that you and Riku won’t have to leave again. I just don’t want you to leave again.” Kairi looked at the floor when she felt tears well up in her eyes. “Kai, I…I didn’t want to leave you alone. I really didn’t. But I had to. You understand, right?” Sora felt horrible.

“Yea, I know you had to. I just don’t want you to have to leave again. I want us to be on the islands, together. I was home almost the entire time you were gone. I don’t miss home that much. I miss being on the islands with you, that’s all. I just want us to be able to be together without having to watch our backs so we aren’t killed. ” Sora saw a few tears fall from her face to the floor. “I miss being on the islands with you too, Kai. Trust me. Do you really think I liked being away from you all that time?” Sora lowered his head some so he could see Kairi’s face.

“No, I know you didn’t. I’m sorry; I didn’t mean to break down here, I just -” Sora cut her off. “I know. Don’t worry; it’ll be over when it’s supposed to be.” Kairi looked up at Sora and smiled. “Yea, I know. I just wish it would be over soon.” Sora still felt bad for her, but he felt better know, knowing that she was okay now. “Let’s finish looking around. Maybe if we’re lucky we’ll find Maleficent. Then, we can just finish her off. I hope she hasn’t gotten too much of her strength back.” Kairi didn’t show it, but the thought of fighting Maleficent scared her. She just nodded and followed him when he started running forward again.

Oh don't worry about the lagging of your computer sometimes the forums are to blame since it sometimes takes about 5 minutes for pages to load, but great chapters keep up your wonderful style of writing.

Chapter 51

“Did you hear that?” Sora turned to his left and looked to see if there was anything there. “Yea, I did. It sounded like someone running.” Kairi replied. They were almost done with the World that Never Was, and all they had seen so far was nobodies. “I think it came from up there.” Kairi pointed to a balcony farther off to their left. “Let’s go then.” Sora ran up to the stairs and started running up. Kairi followed closely.

“There you guys are! Where have you been?!” Sora ran towards the King, Donald, and Goofy, who were all standing on the balcony. Sora, Donald, and Goofy immediately hugged each other. They were happy to see their traveling buddies, and Sora was happy to see his traveling buddies as well. “Wait, have you seen Maleficent? She’s supposed to be here.” Kairi walked up beside Sora just before Donald answered. “We’ve seen her alright! But no one’s gonna be seeing her ever again!” Sora and Kairi looked at each other. “You, you mean you finished her off?” Sora asked; he sounded like he was clueless. “Yep. She’s gone for good now.” Goofy replied casually. “But, I…I didn’t even get to fight her! I had just as much right to fight her as anyone else did!”

Kairi grinned. “At least she’s gone, Sora. That’s what matters.” Sora sighed. “Yea, you’re right.” King Mickey let his keyblade disappear from his hand. “So where’s everyone else?” He asked. “Anna, Riku, Melanie, and Axel are in a hospital in Traverse Town. Shadow, well, he just didn’t go with us, so he’s gone now.”

The King thought for a moment. “Well, we better leave. They’re waiting for you at that hospital, and I want to see what’s wrong with everyone.” Kairi realized that Sora didn’t specify things enough. “Only Riku and Melanie are hurt; Anna and Axel aren’t. They just wanted to stay there with them.” “Yea, that’s what I meant.” Sora said quickly.

An hour later, they were all on their way to Traverse Town. Sora and Kairi went in their gummi ship, and Goofy, Donald, and King Mickey went in theirs. Sora and Kairi’s gummi ship was at top speed, so they were already halfway to Traverse Town.

“I thought you said top speed would burn the engine out.” Kairi mentioned as her and Sora sat in the ship. “Yea, it’ll burn the engine out. But we’ll get to Traverse Town before it does.” Sora replied casually. They we both bored. There had been complete silence for the last forty minutes. “So, what do you want to talk about?” Sora asked, looking away from the window to Kairi. “I don’t know. I can’t think of anything I really want to talk about. Can you?” Sora thought for a minute. “Well, um…do you feel like you’ve seen Anna before? I mean before we went off on this journey? Like, even before Riku and me left the islands?”

Kairi looked s little surprised. “Yea, I do. But I thought it was just me. I feel like I’ve known her since we were little.” “Me too. I wonder if Riku feels the same way. I mean, he knows her well from them being together for this whole time, but I wonder if he feels like he’s known her longer.”

Kairi smiled. “Riku probably knows Anna well from traveling with her all this time, but one thing’s for sure.” “What’s that?” Sora asked curiously. “He likes her. A lot. Didn’t you notice how protective he is of her? Yea, he’s protective of all his friends, but it’s different with Anna. You can tell he cares for her a lot, and she cares for him, too.”

“Oh. Well, now that you mention it, he does seem to care for her. He is really protective of her.” Sora grinned. Riku had never really liked a girl this much before. Riku had liked Kairi, but that wasn’t for very long, and he didn’t like her near this much. He hoped that Anna wouldn’t go back to Earth; he didn’t want Riku to have to deal with that. Sora thought about what it would be like for Kairi to leave, and to never get to see her again. He knew it would be the worst thing ever, and he didn’t want Riku to have to go through that with Anna.

“How do you think they’re doing; Riku and Melanie?” Kairi asked as she looked to see how far away they were from Traverse Town. “They’re probably doing fine, still sleeping, I guess.”

“I hope they’re getting better. I feel so bad for Axel and Anna. I though Melanie was dead, and Riku almost actually died.” Kairi sounded sad. “Well, thanks for remembering me. Riku’s only been my best friend since as far back as I can remember! I wouldn’t be sad he almost died; not at all!” Sora joked. He hoped to make Kairi feel a little better, and it worked. She smiled and looked at him. “What about me? Why can’t I be your best friend?!” She asked jokingly.

“Well, Riku’s a guy, and I’m a guy, so guys tend to understand each other than a girl understanding a guy, and the other way around, too. And Even if me or Riku’s your best friend, I guess it works anyway since we know each other like the back of our hands. But, um, I don’t know why. I guess…” Sora left his sentence hanging, like he didn’t want to finish it. “I know what you mean. But what were you going to say after that? Finish it out.” Kairi smiled. She wanted to know, and she would make him tell her. Sora sighed. “I guess we are best friends. I just never thought of us that way. I guess it’s because I, kinda, thought that…” Sora couldn’t figure out how to say what he was thinking, and he really didn’t want to say it, at least not know.

“Yea?” Kairi waited for him to finish. “I just always kinda thought of us not as friends, well, friends, yea. But not like normal friends; I haven’t though of us as normal friends at least a year before I first lift the islands. I thought of us, I was hoping we were…”

Kairi sighed and laughed on the inside. She knew Sora was having a hard time with this. “You’re doing that thing again. Ya know when you don’t know how to say something or you don’t want to say it; you talk a lot about it but never actually say it. You’re doing it again.” She got up and sat beside him. “So, finish it out or I’ll keep asking you as long as it takes for you to say it.” Sora laughed; that was just like her to do that to him. “I just hoped we could be more than friends. I kinda though we already were.” He looked at her with a smile and ocean-blue eyes. Kairi blushed and looked at the floor so he wouldn’t see as much. “I felt the same way. I just always thought you did, too.” Sora smiled even more now. “Same here.” He put his arm around her and she laid her head on his shoulder.

“After they get better, I mean Melanie and Riku, we’re going back to the islands, right?” Kairi asked quietly. “Yea. We’re going back to Destiny Islands, home. What’s the first thing you’re going to do when we get there?” Kairi thought for a moment. “I want me and you to go to the island we used to play on when we were little. You know, I never went on that island while you were gone. I promised myself I wouldn’t go until you were with me again. What’s the first thing you’ll do?” Sora smiled again at what Kairi said.

“I want to go to that island, too. I want us to go there, and I want to eat a papou fruit. With you.” He replied softly. Kairi closed her eyes and smiled. “Okay. Promise me you’ll do that.” Sora sat silently for a moment. “I promise.”
