Thnx! i decided to put up the next chappie, since the most recent one is pretty short. Here it is!

Chappie 33

“Can you try again?” “No; it won’t do any good. I’ve tried a thousand times now. I can’t do it, okay!” “Sorry. It’s just…” “Yea, I know.” “I used to be able to do it; just hold out my hand and it was there. And now…” “I know, Riku.”

Kiari and Riku were standing inside the White Room. Kiari had been trying to open a portal for the past thirty minutes. Riku said that since Anna, being a princess, could open a portal, maybe Kiari, being a princess, could open one also. It wasn’t working out that way, though. Kiari looked at Riku, sympathizing for him. She didn’t feel sorry for herself, but she was sad. She was separated, yet again, from her friends. She didn’t know why, but she felt like she had known Anna for her whole life.

Riku thought hard, trying to figure out what do. Then he remembered. “The gummi ship’s still here. We can get to Hollow Bastion by the end of today. Let’s go.” Riku stood up and walked out the door, followed by Kiari.

“Where are we, exactly?” Sora couldn’t see a thing; the hallway was now pitch black. “We’re right outside the foyer. There might be heartless out there, so keep your guard up.” “Yea.” Sora was wondering how she knew where she was going through this hallway. It went almost completely black at times, and Sora had to use fire magic a few times for him to be able to see anything; Melanie said she could see fine. He was still wondering where Anna was, and where Riku and Kiari were. He at least knew that Anna was probably in the castle, and Riku and Kiari were probably still in the white room, where the portal opened up to. But if the gummi ship was still there, then they could leave and come to Radiant Garden. It was, after all, right next to Twilight – “What?”

“For the fourth time; are you ready?” Melanie noticed that Sora was in deep thought; for one, he was staring at the floor, and secondly, he didn’t answer her the first three times she asked. “Oh, yea. Sorry.” Melanie just smiled. She turned around and felt the stones on the wall again. She found the one she was looking for, and punched it. The wall split open and Melanie walked through. Sora followed, but stood still when he got inside the foyer.

On the other side of the foyer, Pete was walking from one hallway to another. Melanie and Sora stood completely still; he wasn’t worth fighting, and it would only give away where in the castle they were if he noticed them. He walked into the hallway, humming some tune; he didn’t see them at all. As soon as he turned the corner in the hallway, Sora and Melanie took off and got outside the castle doors. As they closed the heavy doors behind them, Sora stopped.

“What are we doing out here?” Melanie finished shutting the doors and looked at Sora. “We’re going to get some help. Unless you think it would put more people in danger. We could get Anna out by ourselves, but you’ll want someone there to fight Maleficent with you, and chances are, there’ll be no one to help you. By this time, Maleficent’s most likely put a spell on Anna to keep her asleep, so she doesn’t try to escape or fight. When we get Anna out, someone will have to watch her. That’ll be me; you’ve fought Maleficent before, so you’d be the one to fight her alone. You know her weaknesses in a fight.” “I think Riku and Kiari are on their way. That means that Kiari could watch Anna, and you, me, and Riku could fight Maleficent.”

“Add three more to more to fight Maleficent.” Sora and Melanie turned around. In front of them, stood King Mickey.

Chappie 34

“King Mickey! Where have you been?! I thought you were after Maleficent this whole time. I thought I would have seen you by now.” Sora exclaimed. King Mickey walked up to both of them. “Well, there were other things that had to be taken care of at the beginning of this journey, so I was late on starting after Maleficent. It took me a long time to find out where she was. Hello Melanie, I’m relieved that you came to help.”

“It’s an honor, King Mickey. And Queen Minnie says hello, by the way.” “Wait, how do you two know each other?” Sora asked. “Melanie came last year to help our magicians know how to heal. I met her then. I had stopped by the castle for a minute, but I ran into her then.”

“Where’s Donald and Goofy?” Sora was anxious to see them again; he missed his traveling buddies. “They’ll be here any minute now; I sent them to get some other people to help fight off heartless while we fought Maleficent. But they should be here soon.” The answer satisfied Sora, so he didn’t ask about anything else. “I think we should go and at least find where Anna is. That way; we won’t waste any time standing here.” Mickey thought for a moment. “Good idea, Melanie. I’ll wait here, though. So when Donald and Goofy come back, they won’t be confused.”

Melanie nodded her head and walked back to the doors. Sora went to help her, but she had the heavy doors opened in two seconds. Sora was surprised; she was a lot stronger than she looked. He ran in the doors after her, and then he stopped. Melanie stood still in front of him, so he had to stop. “Melanie, what’s wrong?” Sora walked around her to see why she stopped. She didn’t need to answer him; Sora saw the answer in front of him – Pete.

“So, you thought you could come watlzin’ back in this castle without me noticin’, huh? Well, you were wrong. I’m supposed to just take you to the dungeon if I saw ya, but I think I’ll let my heartless take you instead.” Sora laughed. “You’re kidding, right? You expect us to be taken captive by heartless? I’ve been fighting those for over a year now, and there’s never been one I couldn’t kill.” Sora almost laughed. Pete thought for a moment. “So you’re right. It doesn’t matter though; I’ll just get some more every time you kill some. I’ll get you two in that dungeon; don’t you doubt it.”

“Even if you get us in the dungeon; we’ll always be able to get out. The keyblade; it opens any and every lock. You know that, don’t you?” Melanie breathed it out, like she was almsot bored. Sora looked at her strangely. Why did she say that? Now Pete would sick heartless on them, and he would run away. But Sora decided that Melanie had to know what she was saying; she was too smart not to. “Well, you’re right now, aren’t ya? I guess I’ll have to take you somewhere were I can keep an eye on ya. So, if you would please follow your escorts, you’ll be lead to Maleficent herself. She’s probably ready for you two, anyway.”

As Pete turned around, Melanie smiled. Sora then understood. She knew he would have to take them to Maleficent if they could get out of the dungeon. And wherever Maleficent was, Anna was probably there too.

Chappie 35

“Riku? Is that you?” King Mickey called out when the familiar looking boy in the distance was close enough to hear. “Mickey?” The boy ran faster. The girl behind him ran up beside him and caught his pace. King Mickey knew it was Riku for sure by the time Riku and Kiari were a few yards away. When Riku got to where King Mickey was, he put his hands on his knees and tried to catch his breath. Kiari did the same.

“Where have you been all this time? I’ve been to every world and not one person at any of them said anything about seeing you.” Riku looked up and smiled a little. It was good to see Mickey again. Kiari smiled, too. She stopped smiling quickly, though. “Where’s Sora and Anna? Are they inside the castle?” King Mickey nodded. Maleficent had Anna, and Sora and a girl named Melanie went to find where they were.”

“Are they coming back when they find them?” Kiari asked, still panting a little from the long run. “That’s what they said they would do. Oh, by the way, have you seen Donald or Goofy?” The king looked back at Riku. “Yea. We talked to them for a second on our way through he city. They said they were going to get a few other people to help us. They should be here any time now.” King Mickey looked satisfied with the response, and took on a relaxed look.

“We’re going to wait for Sora and Melanie out here, right?” Kiari looked at the large, heavy castle doors. She didn’t know if she was ready to go inside yet. “Yea. Sora shouldn’t take long.”

The three of them turned around when they heard heavy footsteps behind them coming their way. They saw Donald, Goofy, Cloud, Leon, Yuffie, Tifa, Aerith, and Cid running their way. When all of them finally reached the king, Riku, and Kiari, they all stopped and looked around quietly. “What?” Kiari asked; they looked like they were expecting something to jump out at them. “Where’s all the heartless? There’s always heartless as soon as we get here. You didn’t kill them all already, did you? Why didn’t you save some for us?” Yuffie got upset and crossed her arms. She was ready to fight, and she wanted to.

“We didn’t kill them all. There weren’t any here in the first place. And why would you come here at any other time? You said there’s heartless every time you get here; what do you mean by that?” Kiari looked confused. “To see if the old lady’s here or not.” Yuffie replied, coming back to her cheerful self. “We thought we might get lucky and find her here sometime. You’re not the only ones ready to end this war.” Tifa walked up beside Kiari. “War?” Kiari looked scared for some reason. “What else would you call it? You don’t have any reason to be more afraid now than in the past. This war started when Sora left your world.” Kiari looked at Riku, who was talking to the king. Tifa smiled at Kiari, who was now looking back at her. “It’s going to be okay; everything’s going to be fine.” She turned around and walked over to Cloud to ask him something.

Kiari suddenly ran over to King Mickey, who was standing with Riku farther away. “What exactly does Maleficent want Anna for?” King Mickey looked at the ground and thought for a moment. “Well,” he started as he looked at her, “when this journey started, we just thought Maleficent was trying to take over all the worlds. As you’ve probably figured out, that’s not the truth. Well, it’s not the whole truth. I know her sole objective is to rule all the worlds, but I don’t know exactly why she needs Anna, the Princess of Light, for anything.” Riku thought about what the king said for a second, but suddenly looked seriously confused. “How do you know she’s the Princess of Light?” “Namine came and told me.” “Okay. She told us too. But why is Anna the Princess of Light? And a keyblade bearer?”

The king sighed. “I don’t know. I don’t know why she’s the princess, I don’t know what she’s capable of, I don’t know why she has a keyblade, I don’t know why Maleficent needs her…” He paused before continuing; he looked hesitant to finish. “…I don’t even know why Anna’s here instead of on Earth. I don’t know anymore about the Princess of Light than you do. You probably know more than I do, actually.”

“Mickey, if I lost my heart, I should have a nobody, right?” Riku asked abruptly. King Mickey looked at Riku strangely. “If you lost your heart, you wouldn’t be here right now. But you would have a nobody, and a heartless.” Riku looked at the ground. “I lost my heart; Shadow took it. I know it happened. You can ask Anna when this is over. She, she gave me a heart. Not her heart, but a heart. She didn’t know she could do it; she thought she was giving me her heart. But she gave me a heart, or else I wouldn’t be here. How can she do that? How is that even possible?”

The king looked at him even more strangely than before. “She can do that? I really don’t know, Riku. I just don’t know. But you apparently have a nobody, and after this is over, you should try to find him. If he turns evil, it could start a whole new mess.”

About two minutes later, everyone heard the large castle doors open. Sora came running through and shut the doors behind him quickly with the help of Riku. “Where’s Anna? Wait, where’s Melanie?” Riku asked as they walked back to the others. “She’s still inside.” Sora said quietly. “Why did you leave her in there, Sora? Is she with Anna?” Riku was nervous. “She, well, Maleficent has her.”

It mainly depends on how much the author is willing to write, but every author has their own insight into how far they're going to take their stories so its up to them.

Well, i love to write, so don't be shocked if this ff is a long one. I've already written so much for this ff that i might have to take some off & let it be in the beginning of the sequal.

Chappie 36

“I didn’t want to leave her in there, but Maleficent didn’t know I was there, and if she saw me she’d take me too. Melanie’s unconscious, so she couldn’t try to escape.”

“Where’s Anna? You saw her, right? Is she okay?” Riku was even more nervous now. “I saw her. She was with Maleficent. I think she’s okay, but she’s unconscious, too. She was in this, orb thing. It was like a really big black bubble. You could tell it was made out of magic from looking at it. It was glowing, and Anna was floating in the middle of it, asleep.”

“We need to get back in there now.” Riku said with a very serious look on his face. Everyone else had stopped talking when Sora had got back, so Riku’s voice was the only thing you could hear. “All right then. Sora, Riku, Kiari and I will go find Maleficent. Everyone else, there will be heartless everywhere once we get inside. Cloud, Leon; you come with us to hold the heartless off. The rest of you; stay in the foyer and keep the doors clear. Got it? Good. Let’s go.” Mickey said, giving orders with no resistance from anyone.

Sora and Riku pushed the doors open, and everyone ran inside. Cid, Yuffie, Aerith, and Tifa stopped in the middle of the foyer and prepared to fight as heartless appeared around them. Sora got in front of everyone else and started running towards where Maleficent was. Riku was right behind him, followed by the king, Kiari, Donald, Goofy, Cloud, and Leon.

They ran into a lot of heartless, but Sora just kept slashing through them. He didn’t stop until he was outside a large doorway. The heavy doors were locked. Sora looked behind him and made sure everyone was ready. Kiari made her way up beside him. “It’ll be okay.” Sora whispered to her as he got out his keyblade. Kiari, Riku, and King Mickey got theirs out, too. The others got out their weapons. Sora stood in front of the large lock and pointed his keyblade at it. “She’s expecting us. This lock wasn’t here before.” He grew just a little bit nervous. He unlocked the doors and, with the help of Riku, shoved them open.

Everyone except for Cloud and Leon ran in, and the doors automatically shut behind them. There was a group of heartless waiting for them inside. But after a minute or so of fighting, the heartless were gone. “Are you sure we’re in the right room, Sora?” Kiari asked. She took a few steps in front of the others and made sure there weren’t any more heartless waiting for them. There wasn’t any heartless, so she turned around to Sora. “Positive.” Sora stood still and a confused look came over his face. Other than them, there wasn’t anything else in the room. It was empty.

Chappie 37

“Then where’s Maleficent?” Goofy asked. “I, I don’t know. She was in this room, right there, and Anna was over there, and Melanie was on the floor by Maleficent. I promise.” Sora looked around frantically; Maleficent was in the room just half an hour ago. And now, she wasn’t.

“It’s okay, Sora. We’ll figure it out. She has to be here somewhere. She can’t run forever.” Donald said as he walked up beside Sora. Kiari walked back towards the others. “Where else would she be? Maybe she ran off to another part of the castle. If she figured you were coming, then she might have run off.” Sora thought hard; so did Riku. “Unless she needs Melanie for something, Melanie might be in the dungeon. She’ll keep Anna with her right now since she needs her, so Anna’s with Maleficent. Maleficent might be…” Riku left off the sentence and tried to think of where she would be.

Riku stopped thinking about where Maleficent was when he heard an almost silent portal open. He hoped it was Anna, but knew it most likely wasn’t. The portal was on the far end of the room, and it was dark purple and black. Riku knew it wasn’t Anna. Sora and Riku gripped their keyblades tightly, and Kiari moved closer to Sora.

“What do you want?” Sora asked blankly. On the other end of the room, the portal closed, in front of it stood Shadow. “I want your help.” “Why should we help you? You tried to kill me!” Sora looked confused. Shadow’s face turned serious. “Shut up, boy. I tried to kill your friend, and I almost killed the girl he travels with, too.” Sora was mad now. Riku was already mad just at seeing Shadow. Shadow smiled.

“I need your help to kill someone - Maleficent.” Sora was confused. “You work for her. Why would you want to kill her?” Riku asked, still gripping his keyblade. “Because she has my sister, and when Maleficent doesn’t need her anymore, she’ll kill her.” Sora understood a little now. “How do you know she’ll kill Melanie?” Sora asked. Riku had already figured that Melanie had to be his sister, since Maleficent had Anna and Melanie, and Anna couldn’t be his sister.

“Because if Melanie doesn’t cooperate with Maleficent after she’s not needed, Maleficent will kill her. Maleficent does that; I thought you would have known that by now. Melanie won’t cooperate, of course, so she’ll get killed. And I can’t let that happen.” Kiari looked at Shadow sympathetically. “So, you aren’t trying to kill us anymore?” Shadow looked at her. She reminded him of Melanie. “No. I only tried to kill you because Maleficent told me to. She’s my boss right now, so I’m supposed to do what she says. I’m an assassin, so I’ve killed lots of people. It wasn’t any different being told to kill you. It’s not that I like killing people, it’s just all I’ve ever really known.”

Kiari felt really bad for him. She didn’t know what it felt like to have had a past like that, but she knew it couldn’t feel good. “We’ll help you as long as you quit being an assassin.” Kiari walked in front of Sora. Sora let his keyblade fade and he turned Kiari around. “We don’t know if we can trust him, Kiari!” Sora whispered. “Well I do, Sora. Trust me, please.” Sora knew Kiari only told him to trust her when she was completely sure of something. “Okay.”

Kiari looked back at Shadow. “Do you know where Maleficent is?” “Yes. She’s in the north corner of the castle. I can take you there.” Shadow turned around, opened a portal, and turned back around to face them. Sora turned to Riku. “Should we go?” Sora still seemed a little unsure about Shadow. “It’s our best option right now. Even if we don’t know what she’s planning, we know that whatever it is, it can’t be good. And we need to find Anna and Melanie as soon as possible.” Riku answered. He and Sora looked back at King Mickey, Donald, and Goofy, who had been silent the whole time. They all nodded, implying Riku was right.

“Okay. Let’s go.” Sora finally decided it was okay to go with Shadow. He walked across the room and into the portal, followed by everyone else. Shadow got out his knife, and then walked in after them.

“When everybody was through the portal, they all looked around. Maleficent wasn’t anywhere, nor was Melanie or Anna. It was an empty hallway. There was a double door at the end of the hall, but that was it. “You said you would take us to Maleficent. She better be here somewhere close.” Sora said, looking at Shadow with narrow eyes. Shadow looked at the double doors. “She’s in that room; along with Anna and Melanie. But I thought you’d want to know what she’s doing before you go in there.”

“Alright, then. Tell us; what is she doing? We’ve all already figured out it’s not that she’s trying to rule all the worlds. So what is it?” King Mickey asked calmly. “She’s trying to rule Kingdom Hearts again. But this time, she has a better method. She’s going to combine Anna’s light and Melanie’s darkness together. Using this mix, she’s going to infiltrate Kingdom Hearts. Since the mix of light and darkness will be in her control, she’ll be in control of Kingdom Hearts; which means she’ll finally rule it. She plans on creating new worlds after that, then moving all the inhabitants of these worlds to the new worlds. The new worlds will be made out of darkness, making the worlds havens for heartless. Then she’ll destroy the old worlds. She wants to gain control of the nobodies, too, somehow. And she’s waiting for Riku’s nobody to come around; she wants it to help her with the nobodies. That’s all I know, but she told me everything. So that’s all there is to know right now.”

Everybody besides Shadow stood still for a moment, taking all the information they just received in. “Man, she really thought this one out.” Kiari mumbled. “Wait, you said ‘Melanie’s darkness’; what do you mean? She’s not evil, ya know.” Sora looked at Shadow with confusion in his eyes. “If there’s a Princess of Light, don’t you think there would be a Princess of Darkness? Makes sense, right?” Sora nodded his head. “Well, Melanie’s the Princess of Darkness. I know she’s not evil. The darkness doesn’t affect Melanie. She can just wield darkness, like Anna can wield light. They can do the same things; Anna uses light, and Melanie uses darkness. It’s that simple. Melanie has a keyblade, just like Anna does.”

“Why doesn’t she use it?” Riku asked. “I don’t really know.” Shadow replied. “Wait, how are we gonna kill Maleficent? Last time we killed her, she didn’t actually die.” Sora said, looking at the King, hoping for a good answer. “Us three have been thinking about that for a long time.” King Mickey said, implying to him, Donald, and Goofy. “We’re going to try and send her to the remains of the World that Never Was. If we can put a barrier that she can’t get through around the world, we’ll be okay. We’ll think of something else after that. But we’ll need someone to open a portal for us, to get her to the world.”

“Anna can open portals, and apparently, so can Melanie. We need to get in there now, before Maleficent starts anything.” Riku said. Then he ran to the double doors. But before he could open them, they flung open and shot Riku back to where the others were. The doors opened to reveal a bright light that shone everywhere. It was too bright to see anything. But at the same time, it was dark; too dark to see anything. When the light started to die down, Shadow looked over at Riku, who was standing up. “Maleficent started.”
