On Topic: I'd say I want to keep a Chocobo as a pet, like how people keep chickens as pets IRL. But I won't deny being curious as to what Chocobo taste like >XDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Oh well, at least you two had fun. And now as promised, an early chapter. By the way I've been thinking up a theme song for my second filler and I"ve decided on one. Seond Chance by Shine Down.

Second Chance
Chapter 3

"Sora." the voice came softly in his sleep. The basic react for which was to pull the sheets around him closer and turn over in bed "Sora." the voice came again, this time louder but not loud enough to disturb his sleep. Bang, bang, bang "Sora." Bang, bang, bang, the voice was accompanied by a banging noise. Bang, bang, bang "Sora? Okay that's it, forget this." BOOM!

"Agh!" Sora sat up in his king sized bed and summoned his keyblade, pointing it right at the source of the explosion. When his eyes focused he saw Leon standing in the middle of his doorway with the doors, quite literally, blown off their hindges. Leon was looking around the dark room with his gunblade on his shoulder. "What time is it?" Sora asked grogily lowering his weapon.

"It's late in the morning." Leon said quickly, crossing the room and throwing open the curtains on the window. Bright morning light flooded into the room blinding Sora and acting as an irritating alarm clock for Shonen Bat in the corner of the room. He slowly skated out from his corner towards Leon and weakly raised his bat to strike. As he brought it down Leon walked over to another window and pulled back more curtains, letting more light in. "C'mon Sora, you gotta get up now. We don't exactly have a lot of time here."

"What's going on?" Sora asked standing up, swaying from side to side, then flopping back on his bed.

". . . . . . . . . Kairi's coming." Leon said "Once you get ready come out to the house, we have some stuff to go over." and he left.

Sora was still on his bed for a few minutes before his brain processed the information he had been given. In a flash he sat up and began running all around the room picking up his various articles of clothing he had tossed everywhere in a tired daze. He didn't notice as Shonen kicked his pants under the bed and rushed into the bathroom. Half an hour later Sora rushed out of the bathroom freshened up and realized he was missing his pants. Shonen had closed the curtains and was napping in his corner. After searching for twenty minutes he finally found his pants under the bed, literally jumped into them, grabbed Shonen, and ran out the open doorway.

"What the hell?!" Shonen yelled as he caught his balance and let Sora pull him down a few flights of stairs, out of the castle, and through the town. Sora finally stopped infront of Leon's house and caught his breath before walking in.

"You were right Leon." came a high pitched familiar voice "He looks just like our Sora. He's probably the same too."

Sora looked with surprise at the source of the voice and saw King Mickey standing by Leon and Cloud. He smiled, walked up to Sora, and held out a hand to shake. Sora was frozen for a second but came to hsi senses and shook the hand.

"Vincent already filled me in on what happened in your universe." Mickey said as he and Sora separated "Ya gotta admit this is kinda weird. I know you to be dead and you know me to be dead, and here we are shaking hands and meeting."

"Yeah . . . I guess it is." Sora replied

"Y'know, if I could've, I would have given my own life to save Sora and Riku. The way I died in your universe was probably to protect you and your Riku and Kairi."

"Oh god." Shonen spouted from hsi corner "Someone stop them before they start crying."

"Although that's not how I wanna put it we have other things to talk about right now." Leon said "Yesterday it turns out Tron was listening through the computer and sent a message to Kairi that you were alive and here before we got the part where you're from a different dimension. Now she's on her way here and she'll be here in an hour."

"And you want me to go hide right?" Sora asked

"No, we want you to go greet her." Cloud said.

"Wha . . . Greet her?! But what about the fact that I'm from a different dimension?" Sora asked surprised.

"Well there's something you should know about Kairi." Cloud said stepping forward "She waited on the beach of Destiny Islands for days for Sora and Riku. When they didn't show she still kept hope that they were alive somewhere. But when she came here Xemnas appeared, and he showed us their bodies. After that something seemed to snap in Kairi, she's reckless, angry, vengeful, and she acts like her life doesn't matter. If she isn't stopped soon she could die."

"Don' you think that's kinda wrong?" Sora asked solomnly "It's pretty much the same as tricking her. And I'll have to leave after a while so what do you think will happen to her then?"

"We'll explain everything to her after you leave. It's just that you might be our only chance to help her. She'll hate us for a while but we know she'll understand why we did it."

"Will Donald and Goofy be told?"

"Yeah, we'll tell them as soon as we can."

Sigh"What time is she gonna be here?" and on that note everyone brightened up

"She'll be here within the hour. We'll take youtothe landing zone." Leon said leading everyone outside. Shonen and Mickey were the last to leave.

"Oh, by the way." Leon said as they walked through the town "You're friends are gonna have to stay outta sight. They're a dead give a way that something wierd is happening."

"Like you're a beakon of normalicy!" Shonen yelled out waving his bat threateningly.

Leon took the group through the parts of town closest to the castle until they reached a large, circular platform. There was a path leading from it to the castle and it stood out over a large body of water. Aerith, Tifa, Yuffie,and Cid were already there waiting. Once they reached them eveyone looked at Shonen who turned shadow and hid behind Sora. After a few minutes there was a flash in the distance and a gummi ship came flying at the platform. When it reached everyone it hovered in the air over the platform before landing and sending wind that made everyone brace themselves.

There was a loud whirring noise as the door in the side opened. Once it was completely open things were still for a second before Donald and Goofy came funning and fell to their hands and knees and started kissing the ground.

"Don't be so dramatic, my flying is not that bad!" Kairi said as she stepped out into the sunlight and looked around. As her eye's found Sora she froze and tears began to well up in her eyes. Before anyone could do anything she bolted down the ramp, past Donald and Goofy who were still kissing the ground, and grabbed Sora in a large hug. Everyone watched quietly as he returned the hug, a mixture of guilt and sadness masked by a slightly genuine smile.

Donald and Goofy looked up when they heard Kairi's muffled sobbing and were surprised to actually see Sora. But before they could get up Mickey walked infront of them and lead them around to the other side of the ship to explain things.

"It's really him." Kairi thought "The feel of his hands, his warmth, even his smell." she leaned back, still holding onto Sora, and looked up with teary eyes.

"It's really good to see you Kairi, I missed you." Sora smiled at her, but as he said the words he felt a heavy lump form in his stomach. "You must be hungry."

"No, I"m fine." Kairi said but then her stomach gave a loud growl, somewhat ruining the moment. Her face turned bright red as everyone's smile became completely genuine.

"C'mon, we reserved a place earlier, we knew you'd be hungry." Tifa said leading eveyone over the pathway to the town.

Meanwhile Ash, Naruto, and Vincent were on a building in town overlooking the reunion. Naruto gave a growl as they all joined together to go eat.

"Why do we have to stay out of sight!?" he complained

"I'm not explaining it to you again. Just shut up and stay hiden." Vincent said behind him.

"But I'm hungry too and now we gotta wait for them to bring us our food."

"Oh quit your whining!" Shonen yelled kicking Naruto as he appeared from out of the shadows "Besides we got another job to do. Sora's got enemy's in this universe as well, if they catch wind that he's alive there's gonna be a hell of a welcome party. We're on guard duty."

As the four split up to go on duty none of them noticed the Dusk just around the corner behind a water tank. It swayed from side to side then disappared in a black and white portal to report it's findings.

A few hours later

The town was lit up on all it's streets as the last remaining fragments of light retreated over the horizon. Venders and shops turned on their night displays and street lights flicked on. Sora and his group left a resturant, their stomaches full and ready for a nights sleep. Luckily dinner had been free in exhange for Sora and Kairi's autographs. As they walked on through the streets Kairi held onto Sora as if he was going to disappear at any moment. She had held onto him on the way to the resturant and was never mroe than a few feet away inside. Donald and Goofy were in the back with Mickey, tired of having to wear fake smiles to mask their deep disappointment and grief.

"I guess thsi is where we part." Sora said stopping in an intersection. One way led farther into town and the other was a strait shot to the castle "I should probably get some sleep for tomorrow." and he began to head for the castle.

"I'll go too." Kairi said quickly not letting go of Sora "My room's in the castle too. Same one as always?" she asked looking back at the group

"Yep, same as usual." Tifa said leading everyone back to their house.

Kairi smiled and walked toward the castle with Sora. As they got close they turned off into a small aquare. There were streetlights at all four corners and a statue in the middle of it. It seemd like a wide bridge since it was over water and the stone was had a yellowish tint in the light. Sora walked to the edge and looked out onto the stream as it flowed silently into the distant darkness. As he and Kairi stood there watching he began to feel more and more uncomfortable. It was a nagging feeling that just wouldn't go away, he hadn't got used to it but it didn't bother him as much as it had a few hours ago. Suddenly the feeling changed. He didn't notice it at first but he eventually grasped the change, like someone lightly poking a needle to the back of his neck. He turned around and knew what was wrong at once, there were no people or sounds. Everything was quiet and empty.

"What's wrong Sora?" Kairi asked as he broke out of her grip and pushed her behind him.

"Just stay behind me." Sora said looking around, his Sense* was beginning to pick up on intent.

Clap. Clap. Clap. Clap. Clap "Impressive, you noticed." came a deep calm voice. A dark portal opened up on the other side of the square and Xemnas walked out followed by two other cloaked members, one on each side of him "It's been quite a while hasnt' it . . . Sora." he smiled as he watched.


I'm debating with myself if I wanna end the chapter right here or update it tomorrow. I already know what you'll probably say but I'd like your opinions of what I should do.

Seriously, it took me 10 seconds to read that. I'm serious. I'm really used to 'Vera's long-ass chapters, as well as several other fanfic's long-ass chapters, so I'm feeling kinda unfulfilled, if you know what I mean.

I agree with Cef, it's a bit short... But it's fine as long as you update tomorrow! ^^ I like the theme song, by the way!

And on the Chocobos, would you really eat one? They're so cute! We used to have chickens as pets... Then they died (of old age^^)... Anyway, the new FF even has a really small Chocobo chick that lives in the afro of one of the characters (or so I've read)! So cute!!

Loved it! Hi Coldy^^ Of course we'd want you to update! However, the chapter is of reasonable length right now, and cliffhangers are often good ends to chapters. So you don't have to update, if you don't want to. Even though I hate it when a chapter ends with a cliffhanger... And I really want to know what happens next!

Well I don't really wanna update it so I guess I'll just leave it as it is. But since I've already got the next part in mind the next chapter will be early, like this one. Now I just have to decide on the day I'm gonna put the next one up on.

Now why do I have this feeling next chappie is going to be sad too? ;-; Anywho, an update on the Halloween chappie, I sent a snippet to Coldman, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~nd hopefully it will at least send a tingle up his spine, Mr. I-Don't-Get-Scared - and don't you say anything about the Castle! Just a reaction, plox ^_^

I think the Halloween chap is gearing more towards a mind-**** than actual horror, I don't wanna repeat the last Halloween chappie, even though, I'm not, I'll explain it all, but I want a new feel to it, I want Hollow Castle to be a place you would crash through a concrete barrier to get away from, even though it can't chase you, its a castle for pete's sake........meow.

Shonen Bat: Oh but the memories stay with you for a lifetime.

SA: That's right you've been there before.

Shonen Bat: Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaah, when I stole those notes about the Death Generals.......That was proof I'm not mortal, I'd have been dead ten times over if I was, which I'm not, so there.
