I originally wanted to give Aqua King Mickey's keyblade but in the end I threw Kairi in cause I believe she belonged there more. Kingdom Hearts has it's own agenda's in mind but luckily it knows to keep it's powers in check. Hey I was wondering, do you guys think it would have fit better if I had Ven dual wielding Oblivion and Oathkeeper instead of having the Kingdom Key?

SA! How could you think that was the final chapter? But the end in near, about one or two more chapters to go.

Given the symbolism behind OathKeeper and Oblivion, and in Ven's case, I would say go for it, but with the Kingdom Key and it's future symbolism....I'm a bit torn >>; Heck, I think staying with the Kingdom Key is fine, it depends on which way you want the symbolism to go though.

And the movie is "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" ^_^

Oh yeah, that was a great movie. I'm not a big fan but the movies all in all were totally cool.

Symbolism? I just thought that since Ven looks like Roxas it might have fit more for him to use Oblivion and Oathkeeper. But since Sora's his brother borrowing power would mean he got to use the Kingdom Key, although technically Oblivion and Oathkeeper are Sora's keyblades too since Roxas used them. Eh, whatever.

I'm gonna try to start the next chapter either Monday or Wednesday next week so keep your fingers crossed. Judging by how much you guys liked the last chapter I think I might just wing it on the next one too. And that reminds me, SA could you PM me a list of South Light's and Nefero's magic and skills, it'd be much appreciated.

Chapter 9
Into the Desert, End It All

A cold wind blew through a desert even though it was still light out. The desert itself was special, it layed between the realms of light and darkness. I held great power within itself and that was what half of it's current visitors came for.

"Hahahaha! That's it! Now lets get this party going!" Nefero yelled as he danced around Lorenia's swings, lazily casting out spells that she dodged. His claws began to glow red and he moved in to strike at her.

Ragiel was only a small distance away but he was dueling it out with Xehanort. Lorenia and Nefero had paired of to fight quickly but Xehanort kept Ragiel from helping her. Every time Ragiel moved to help Lorenia Xehanort would jump in his way and they would begin a close quarter's fight. And that left Dendjue to deal with South Light. She had summoned magic swords to float around her in a circle and they automatically moved to block any incoming attacks, that left her free to send impressive combinations of magic at Dendjue.

"C'mon Lorenia, let's see some blood!" Nefero cried as he struck at her over and over again.

Lorenia dodged and blocked every swipe and strike that came at her. She stuck out her keyblade as Nefero dove in to bite at her and he ended up biting down on her keyblade. Lorenia quickly pulled it down and pulled her keyblade out of the demon's mouth, sending his head downward to meet her knee. CRACK, the two connected and Nefero wound up knocked back several feet, his jaw dislocated.

"Naw bad." Nefero said looking at Lorenia. He grabbed his jaw and with a sickening CR-CRACK shoved it back into place.

Lorenia! How are you holding up love? Ragiel asked through memory link

I"m fine, you should be worrying about Xehanort right now. Lorenia responded How about you Dendjue?

Me? Oh I"m just fine. There's nothing better than fighting an obsessed, crazy witch that's not only attracted to me but wants to suck out my soul through my mouth.Dendjue replied sarcastically.

Lorenia suppressed a smile as she and Nefero began to circle each other. She held her keyblade out in front of her and stayed on guard, Nefero's red claws dug into the ground making deep impressions. Suddenly he lunged forward at her and began another assault. Ragiel and Xehanort had their hands full with each other as well. Xehanort's speed didn't give an advantage like he had hoped since Ragiel was just as fast. Ragiel wasn't much of a magic user himself though but he could dodge the spells Xehanort sent at him.

"Thunder*! Fira*! Thunder*! Fire*!" Xehanort sent a series of spells at Ragiel. Ragiel dodged each of them as he ran Xehanort and quicly closed the distance. Once he was too close Xehanort covered his keyblade with black flames and attacked. Ragiel blocked the attack by holding his keyblade in his left hand and pushed Xehanort's away, then he switched hands and struck at him.

Xehanort blocked but Ragiel quickly withdrew his blade and stuck again, this time he landed a blow knocking Xehanort back several feet. Before he could recover Ragiel came in with a series of strikes. Xehanort backed up as Ragiel continued forward but couldn't block all the strikes. He stopped all of a sudden and let Ragiel strike at him again but he dodged and jabbed him in the stomach, sending the full force of his black flames too. Ragiel went tumbling along the ground but dug his keyblade into the ground and regain his stance then charged at Xehanort again.

Dendjue and South Light were trading spells a long distance away. Every time Dendjue got in close enough for an attack one of South Light's magic swords would break from it's orbit around her and block while the others moved to slice him and his spells couldn't get at her since she was just as much an expert in magic as him.

"Blizzgriega*!" pillars of ice sprouted up from the ground around South Light at an angle to impale her. They looked okay until they shattered when they hit the invisible barrier South Light had erected around herself.

South Light giggled at his attempt and summoned more magic blades. They circled her too until she waved her hand and they flew at Dendjue. Dendjue dodged all of them but when they passed him they changed directions and came at him again. He blocked several and dodged more but they came at him again. Dendjue growled a little and began to run while dodging any that sped up to catch him.

"You won't lose them Dendjue!" South Light called out "They've caught on to your aura, they'll keep chasing you until they hit!"

Dendjue stopped and knocked all the swords away but they simply went past him and turned around. One managed to nicke him on the shoulder and blood began to leak from the wound. Suddenly he got an idea, it was worth a try. He waited until they turned around and caught onto him again and started running at South Light, when he got close to the area where her barrier began he vanished. South Light strengthened the area behind her and turned around to face Dendjue.

"You never seemed the type to strike at a lady's back." South Light said when she saw Dendjue

"I'm not you are." Dendjue replied with a smirk.

South Light looked confused then it suddenly hit her, the swords were still after Dendjue. She turned around and started to increase her barrier but it was too late, the swords began to hit the barrier and caused explosions from the force of their strength. The barrier broke and the swords left came through, South Light used the swords circling her to block but they all ended up canceling each other out.

In a flash Dendjue appeared behind her with his keyblade ready for the final strike. South Light turned and just barely dodged the attack. Dendjue kept on her as she continued to try and put some distance between them and get her barrier and swords back up. South Light could only dodge as Dendjue began a furious series of swings and jabs each aimed to take her out. She began to slow down and Dendjue saw an opening but before he cold move to strike he felt a sharp pain along his right arm and was knocked to the side.

Lorenia caught him and they saw Nefero standing between them and South Light. His claws dripped with blood and when they looked they saw a long gash down Dendjue's arm. Lorenia tried to use Cura* but it only sped up the bleeding. They looked behind them and saw Ragiel getting pushed back toward them by Xehanort. With one last swing Xehanort knocked Ragiel back into Lorenia and Dendjue.

"Shatter Dreaka*!"Nefero yelled pointing his claws at the trio.

Suddenly Lorenia, Dendjue, and Ragiel couldn't move. They didn't feel anything, and they felt ... disconnected from their bodies. Nefero gave them an evil grin as he walked up to them casually.

"Bet you dumb sh**s didn't know I had that." Nefero said mockingly "Back off Xehanort!" He yelled when he saw Xehanort walking up to them too "They're my kill." Nefero held up his right claw and it began to glow red and became enlongated.

Ragiel, Dendjue, and Lorenia struggled to move as they watched Nefero slowly raise his claw up into the air and hold it there for a few seconds. They couldn't even close their eye's as he brought it down.

"Holy*!"

A white beam hit Nefero just before his strike landed and sent him back to where South Light was standing. Xehanort caught on and jumped out of the way as a second beam came at him. He moved to stand by Nefero and South Light. Ragiel, Lorenia, and Dendjue saw a white aura begin to surround them and felt their senses returning, once they could move Dendjue also saw the gash on his arm was healed.

"Sorry we took so long. We ran into some ... problems." said a familiar voice.

They looked behind them and saw Ven, Aqua, and Terra walking up to them, each holding a keylbade. They also had a piece of armor on one of their arms. The new arrivals walked up and stood by Ragiel, Lorenia, and Dendjue who had noticed the keyblades in their hands.

"Are those really keyblades?" Ragiel asked

"Yep." Ven answered not taking his eyes off Xehanort.

"So you were keblade master's this whole time?" Lorenia asked "Why didn't you use them when we fought Xehanort's apprentice?"

"When we fought Xehanort before he did a lot of damage to us." Terra began to explain "Not just to us physically but to our hearts, we lost the ability to use our keyblades."

"And you still can't." Xehanort said "Those aren't your keyblades!"

Ragiel, Lorenia, and Dendjue looked at the keyblades Ven, Aqua, and Terra were holding. Those weren't their keyblades, then were'd they get them?

"You're right, these aren't our keyblades." Ven answered "We've completely lost the ability to use our own keyblades so we're borrowing the power we need from the next keyblade master's of the Disney System."

"Really?" Nefero said curious about the situation "Cause the only way for keyblade masters to borrow power is if they have a close connection to the next masters of their system."

"Oh, so that explains it." Xehanort said "Ven's got a little brother and Terra has a son. I don't know about Aqua though but when I get back to the Disney System I can check everyone she's close too."

"Like hell you will!" Aqua yelled. She touched the armor on her right arm with her left hand and it flashed, when the light subsided she was completely covered in her armor.Ven and Terra did the same and took stances against Xehanort

"You three get to a safe distance." Terra told Ragiel, Lorenia, and Dendjue "Xehanort is our problem. We're the one's who brought him here, we should be the ones to take him on."

"Alright." Dendjue answered nodding. He, Ragiel, and Lorenia began to back away and went to what they assumed was a safe distance.

"C'mon South Light." Nefero said turning to go too.

"What!? Why!?" South Light asked

"I know that look in Xehanort's eyes." he replied and they both looked at Xehanort who was staring intently at the Chasers "They're his kill, no doubt he'd even fight me to kill them. Besides, we'll get first row seats and this looks like it's gonna be a good fight."

"Awwww, but I wanna fight the blonde one and mature one." South Light protested following Nefero

"Don't worry about it. You can still have their souls if they die in the fight."

"But that's not as fun as sucking it out of their bodies."

"Ha! You'd have to fight the girl to get at the blonde one."

Xehanort, Ven, Aqua, and Terra were all staring at each other as they stood still, waiting for someone to make a move. Terra was the first to take a stop forward but Ven put his hand out and stopped him then began to run at Xehanort himself. Xehanort braced himself and blocked when Ven jumped into the air and stuck at him. In a flash Aqua appeared behind him and swung at him too. Xehanort threw Ven back and slung his keyblade over his back to block Aqua's attack. He let it go then turned quickly and grabbed it again. He locked in with Aqua and stood there until her left hand began to glow blue. At the last second Xehanort jumped back as a large, sharp pillar of ice errupted from the ground beneath him. He kept moving back as more pillars began to spring up where ever he stood.

Xehanort blocked Terra who came in for an attack after the last pillar rose up. But as their blades stayed together Terra began to push him back towards one of the pillars then shoved him into it. The ice around Xehanort broke as he made a large dent in it but he recovered and ducked as Terra jumped and sliced at him. The pillar stayed still for a second then the top part above where Terra cut slid off and hit the ground, Xehanort crouched down and looked for an opening as Terra landed. He found it and sprung forward, he cut Terra across the chest but didn't leave a mark on his armor. Terra was sent tumbling back and crashed into another pillar of ice, making it shatter.

"Not bad. Not bad at all." Xehanort said as Ven and Aqua rushed to Terra "So how about a stroll down memory lane?" suddenly the ground have a heave and sections of the ground rose up. There was a gap between the section that held Xehanort and the Chasers and the smaller one that held Ragiel, Lorenia, and Dendjue. They rose up to the same height then stopped.

"Now this is looking good." said Nefero as he and South Light stood on the other side of the cliff and watched the fight. Nefero held out his hands and a bag of popcorn and a soda magically appeared "So what do ya'll think?" he asked turning to Ragiel, Lorenia, and Dendjue.

"We think Xehanort's gonna get his a** kicked!" Dendjue yelled calling his keyblade

"We'll find out soon enough." Nefero replied before shoving a handful of popcorn in his mouth.

Hey guys, sorry about yesterday but my school got a bomb threat and they decided to cancel. That makes the fifth one this year, seriously.

Anyway I"ll try to update as much as I can throughout today but writers block is poking his ugly head around the corner. Don't expect a lot and some of it might not be very good.

As for writing on the fly, >_< writers block is quite annoying, so replay any action sequences in your head at least like 3 times - or just start thinking of random actions then copy and paste and edit them together to form a quick fight, that can work sometimes ^_^

Me and Cef have a way of getting ride of writers block, allow me to introduce to you the Writer's Block Chainsaw, now, if you could just hold still - >:3

Yeah SA, like I said that was the fifth time this year. If any of us could find the kid responsible we'd make them pay, the school's turned up their security because of all the bomb threats, it's a big pain.

And I only have a bit of writers block, when I get home I'll just have to pop in my anime movies and stuff.
