I'm an Otaku. Anime is a part of my life - but I don't go out of my way to find it (unless I'm bored) I usually stumble across it on Cartoon Network and Adult Swim and the Internet and the bookstore, and also this story contains about all of the anime up to a certain point that I've seen ^-^

Ch.12 Dive into Destination III

Responsibility, loyalty, and integrity. It's rare that such a combination will live to see a lengthy life; for these noble aspects are also the most blind.

"Mother, I think he's a gift from the Forest Spirit."

Riku felt the warm breath of a large creature upon his face.

"His scent, it is not of this world. Look San, upon a bed of feathers he sleeps. He is not from the Forest Spirit, but another kind entity."

"I will look after him mother."

"Very well, I must go and watch the forest."

Riku slowly awoke upon a bed of white glistening feathers. His eyes adjusted to the bright light that fell upon his face as his ears tuned into the faint trickling waves of a pond. He sat up, wobbled a bit, then laid back down with his eyes adjusting to his surroundings.

He was on a tiny piece of land in the middle of the lake which was still as the settling ambiance. Beyond the lake was a tightly knit forest that partially surrounded it. The forest behind the lake looked to be merely of a wall of nature. Riku looked up to the height of the tree that nearly touched his head, it was old and spiraling upwards as if it was trying to reach out of the opening in the dome of the canopy above. It had tufts of brush that were like steps which traveled up the sullen bark, the circular opening in the branches showed beyond a bright blue starry sky, as if the sun had just set over the sanctuary of this peaceful, ancient, forest.

The feathers Riku sat upon were soft, and he was tempted to fall back asleep. He pushed himself back some and made himself comfortable against the tree, "(*Sigh*), Separated again. I hope Sora and Kairi are in a place as peaceful as this, wherever this, may be."

Dragonflies darted above the water and rocks covered in moss that poked thier flat heads above the surface. Riku pushed himself up the tree to stand, but his legs gave out, and he slid back down the tree on his bum - "Oof."

"Can you not stand?"

Riku looked to his right and there stood a girl with strong, dark, yet bright, eyes. She had short brown hair held back by a black band, circle earrings, and was dressed in short sleeveless black dress with a white front; her shawl seemed to be of white animal fur made into a cape with teeth connecting the front.

"Ah, no I can't stand,” replied Riku lightly.

The girl walked over and yanked Riku to his feet; Riku felt his knees lock in place.

"Your legs still work at least, with rest, you will be able to walk soon,” the girl stated. Riku wobbled and caught himself on the tree. "My name is San, what's yours?"

"Riku."

"Riku, where are you from Riku?"

"Far, far away from here I'm sure,” said Riku sliding down the tree; San sat next to him.

"Your cloths, they're so strange - I've never seen such things before; my mother said you were from a different world, is that true?"

"It's very true; I'm from the Destiny Islands, a world surrounded by a big ocean. Can you tell me where I am now?,” Riku asked.

"You are in the sanctuary of the Forest Spirit within the forest of the gods. Are you a god?"

Riku was taken back, "Oh, no I'm nothing like that, I'm a Keyblade Master." Riku held out his hand and his Keyblade appeared–San gasped and jumped to her feet–

"I knew it! You are a gift from above to help us against the humans!"

"Excuse me?”

"The humans that have been destroying our forest and killing our kind, they are nothing but evil, and you must have been sent here to help us fight them!"

“Killing? These humans, what do they operate with, Heartless or Nobod-“

"Of course thier heartless! No one that had a heart could do such terrible things!"

Riku felt his Keyblade nudge towards San, *Huh?* However Riku knew what he felt, his blade was telling him to go with San. “Then, that is what my blade is for, I'll help you against them."

San gave a Riku a big hug–"Come, I must take you to our den."

San took Riku's hand (who re-called his blade) and yanked him away: they swam through the water, trogged up the embankment, and dashed about the terrain of the forest. The moment Riku felt San's hand in his, he felt his strength returned to him, and not a moment too soon as San ran him through the forest with the speed and stamina of an animal.

*Keyblade Master, know your actions well, for this world will teach you skills you must use in your journey ahead,* said an elder voice by Riku's ear.

*Ah, alright,* Riku thought, *Looks like my path has been laid out for me already. I wonder…how Sora and Kairi are doing.*

San ran Riku through the forest, up some rocks, up a hill, over a river, up a mini-mountain, and then dropped down onto a long stone slab which led into a cave on the side of a cliff, "Okay (*cough, cough, inhale*) I need a break," said Riku bending to his knees.

"No human has ever lived to see the inside of this den for it is sacred territory of my mother, Morrow, protector of the Forest Spirit."

"Then I better get going," Riku played.

San stepped to the edge of the cliff. "Look upon this forest Riku." He looked.

The view from the den was a magnificent one as it showed the lay out of the forest with its rising mountains, hills, and old mature trees. "This forest was born before man, and man has come and cut down the trees, killed the animals, and even defiled the gods. There is a woman that fuels the will of the humans to destroy the forest, and she, is who we will go after together soon."

"This woman, why is she doing this?," Riku asked.

"For a metal called iron, and such is the name of her home, Iron Town, that is where we will go, but I must train some more first." San took out a dagger carved from a stone, "Will you train with me?" Riku called out his blade,

"Why don't you show me what you’ve got?" Riku taunted and–San rushed him–Riku blocked, her dagger and his blade given equal strength, "Wow, your fast," Riku grunted; San playfully pushed off him,

"I know; it helps having brothers to mess around with," she said.

"So, where is your family?"

"My mother is watching the forest, and my brothers are off hunting, don't worry you'll meet them soon, sometime around tonight, also, you might be able to catch a glimpse of the Nightwalker."

"Who's that?"

"The Forest Spirit in his evening guise, it is a sin for man to look upon him, but a blessing for us of the forest. Tomorrow I will ask the Forest Spirit to bless our journey, and I will show you where Iron Town is." San raised her dagger, "Training?," she asked tauntingly; Riku raised his blade lazily,

"Whatever is need –” San rushed him again and Riku slipped to the side, their blades grazing one another with a spark. “Rushing might not always be the best way to attack,” said Riku quickly as he countered San’s fighting, “If your enemy has a shield, unh, they can just”- skeene! – “Block you!” San was pushed back onto her rear by Riku’s Dark Barrier*, she shook her head and looked up,

“How did you do that?” she asked, “How did you, make the air like a wall?”

“It’s called magic, and I told you if the enemy has a shield, rushing won’t work, you’ll have to get around their defenses.”

“Can you teach me how to use magic?” asked San eagerly.

“I’ll try, usually people, if they can, can just use magic.”

“No one that I’ve seen here can do what you just did, not even the forest gods, you, your magic and your weapon, and you say you’re not a god?”

“I’m not a god San, I’m just as mortal as you are, look,” Riku showed San a cut on his arm from their sparring; a trickle of blood dropped off. “You really nicked me good.”

"Oh..."

San took Riku’s arm, pulled some leaves up from the den ground, and pressed their juice into the cut–“Ow!”

“You’re mortal alright, but, mortal or not, you’re a miracle to me. Riku, I’m glad you’re here.” Riku gave San a smile. She cleaned up Riku’s wound and dressed it.

Off in the distance, within the hidden melancholy of the night, long deep howls filled the essence of the forest…

“Was...that your mother?” Riku asked.

“Yes,” said San, “She is giving her warning to the humans that she watches them tonight, and every night, of their crimes against us.”


And Princess Mononoke makes her scene! (This is a movie, not a series for once ^-^;)

Ah, yay! Now we know what happens to those that matter! (for now) <<...>>....So yep, Sora, Donald, Kairi, Goofy, and Riku have made it the Anime System by destiny or sheer dumb luck, and tying them together will be a long and tedious process, but I hope it'll turn out good and exciting! ^_^

Ch.13 From a love so far away

Sora’s sweet little sleep was once again getting siphoned away, but this time by something cold being lightly pressed all over his face. He felt he was lying down on something like a couch, was he back on Bebop ship? Sora lazily opened his eyes, and found that he had been moved from the little receiver room, to something like a waiting room. A strange feeling of remembrance came over him, as if he had just seen something, and couldn’t remember what…He could see their faint after-images in his open eyes…People…Friends?...But which friends? He felt them so near, he wanted to take the images in his hands, but they faded away as his eyes corrected themselves with the light.

“Goodness, you gave us a little scare there Sora. We thought that you had like some internal wound from the two-mouthed monster, or, eh, that all that information Euphoria talked about, killed you,” said Serena dabbing a cool cloth over Sora’s face and onto his neck.

“Hopefully it’ll take more than that to kill him,” came a tough old granny voice.

Sora was tickled as Serena finished dabbing his neck; he giggled sitting up. Ed plopped down next to him and cuddled up, as did Ein. The others were on chairs and couches near by (Spike being across from Sora) within the moderate room; it had a patio and Sora was off to the right of it. Bulma was missing, and so were Jet and Faye, but in thier stead, and walking up to Sora expectantly, was a short old woman, barely four feet, with pink wavy hair, and her arms crossed (though she wore a red vest, a white under shirt, and poofy pants, she looked very threatening),

“There’s the little runt awake.”

*Runt?*

“You had Yugi waste all his heal* magic on you for nothing,” she stated with stale breath.

The old lady sized up Sora as he sat fully conscious with a perplexed innocent look.

“Hello Keyblade Master Sora, my name is Genkai, and I will be your guide on your travels here in the Anime System.”

“Oh, hi,” said Sora and yawned.

“Sleep well?” she smiled forebodingly.

“Eh,” Sora blushed and put his hand behind his head, “I’m really sorry that I worried yall, I don’t know what came over me.”

“But you’re okay?” squeaked Yugi; Pharaoh was there by him.

“Yep,” piped Sora, and Ed happily latched onto him.

“Did you see anything while you were asleep?” asked Genkai.

“Yeah, I mean I think I did, but…” Sora thought hard, he retraced his mind from his last memory, Euphoria saying she would meet up with him after he grew a little, and then after that he suddenly just grew so sleepy…

*I know you’ve been so worried about your friends, so let me show your reassurance, memories, you can visit in the middle of the night* - that was it! And in an insane fast forward, Sora remembered four separate episodes with – with –

“My friends! I saw my friends! I saw Riku, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy! They’re all okay! They’re within this system and they’re all okay!” Sora wanted to cry and jump and do back flips and everyone shared in Sora’s delight, except Genkai –

“Describe for me what worlds they were on,” she said.

Sora happily proceeded with a bright complexion, and gave descriptions as best as he could, his memory was still a little fuzzy, not to mention it was in blotches too, but when he finished up, Genkai looked up, then closed her eyes in calculation.

“Genkai, do you know where they are?” asked Goku.

She opened her eyes, “Give me your hand Sora.” Sora held out his hand to Genkai, she took it, and quite gently for that matter. She made a strange mark on Sora’s hand, her tracings began to glow and Sora’s bracelet gave a wonderful shine…”I see,” she said, “I thought your aura shinned a little brighter than a normal Master’s, you have a Protection* placed upon you by a wish from Yahena.”

“Oh, yeah, I heard Nefero say something like that when he met my friends and I, he said that he couldn’t hurt us.”

Genkai made some more calligraphic marks on Sora’s hand, and they accordingly glowed with her motions, “This Protection* was cast by King Mickey of the Disney system, it saves you from…(Genkai waited for marking on Sora’s hand to appear…) Nefero…South Light….and Lady of Red –”

“Awesome! You’re practically invincible Sora!” piped Ash.

“Until they summon their Emotionless,” said Amy, “Protections* are extremely specific.”

“Yeah, and I didn’t hear anything about the Riders,” added Mina.

Ash sank like someone had eaten his birthday cake.

“This Protection*, will last for 3 months,” continued Genkai, “dealt from a compromise due to the death of the caster –”

“What did you say?” said Sora abruptly.

“The time length set for this Protection* is three months from the compromise for the death of the cast–” Sora yanked his hand away.

“He’s not dead,” said Sora, like a child…

“Oh I assure you he’s quite dead,” said Genkai simply, “the Protection’s contract states so from it’s compromise with Deos’ design. King Mickey died –”

“NO –”

Genkai yanked Sora’s hand back and traced her marks again, – “From a neck wound dealt by Nefero.” Sora tried to yank his hand back again, but Genkai held it amazingly firm for a woman her size and age.

“He’s not dead! He’s not dead! He can’t be! He’s King Mickey! He – he –”

“Our Royalty are dead too. Killed by the Riders. They were in a coalition to protect someone very special, and the Riders punished them for it,” said Genkai holding Sora’s hand firm as he continued to try and pull away, “King Mickey’s last breath was for his wish to Yahena,” each word from Genkai stabbed him in the heart – each word sent a shock of pain –

*No – no – no – no – NO – NO – NO! He can’t be dead! It’s impossible!* “You’re lying!” Sora screamed, and finally tore his hand from Genkai and ran out the right exit of the room…leaving a stinging revealing silence.

“Tsk,” Genkai uttered, “Don’t know where he’s going, but he just ran out onto the patio. If he jumps I hope he can glide.*”

“Jump?!”

“Sora!”

“All of you leave him alone,” threatened Genkai, “I won’t be leading around some unconditioned child, so let him work it out of his system, and if he can’t handle death in a dignified manner then I want nothing to do with him.” Genkai casually strolled to the door of the patio and locked it from the outside with her magic.

“What I said to you was no lie Keyblade Master Sora,” Genkai called through the door, “King Mickey is dead.” CRSK. It sounded like someone had kicked the door…Genkai rolled her eyes and walked out of the room muttering “Insolent little runt.”

Sora felt like kicking the door, punching the ground, anything, anything that would help him vent off this anger, this sadness, this pain, this despair, this emptiness, this grief, this sorrow, this agony, this, this “Dangit what am I on a stupid patio?!” Sora kicked the metal rails and promptly hurt his foot. He sank to the ground nurturing it as his eyes burned, *She’s lying, she’s lying, he’s not dead. He’s not dead.* But the more Sora said it to himself, the more he knew it to be true…Why? He didn’t have any proof but Genkai’s words, and what reason would she have to lie? *Cause she’s a stupid old bat who just wants to make people sad.*

But if King Mickey is dead, then what became of Queen Minnie? And Daisy? And Pluto? What happened to them? Where they okay? Did they escape like Donald and Goofy? How did they make it out?

Sora looked to the sky….So many stars….and the sky seemed like such a cold, vast barrier isolating them all.

Donald looked to the sky,

Kairi looked to the sky,

Goofy looked to the sky,

Riku looked to the sky,

Perhaps for just one moment, a beat from their hearts matched…

Sora put his head down and whispered through his tears, “Thinking of you wherever you are….”

Sorry this one is a bit of a quickie, and somewhat different - but it's Halloween based ^_^ - Boo! Instead of carrying on with the story (which I will do next week god willing >_<) I decided to give two characters more development.

Ch. [Boo!] This is Our Nightmare

Here in this world there is a rhyme taught by no reason,
only the instinct of the season.
On a night where children are left unsupervised
the terrors of the darkness take to ride.
They who call themselves angels are turned blind
and left to wonder if whom they guard -
are left alive.
They choose without thought, or ponder, or wonder
it is the mere whim of thier pleasure.
So Mothers kiss your children goodbye every Halloween Night,
only the next morning will tell if they survived the Beast and the Shadow Light.


"Come on push the doorbell already!"

Ding-dong.

I've been so naughty tonight already - I really shouldn't.

"Trick or Treat!"

But what's stopping me? The mother is no where to be in sight, and they look so fresh, no I really shouldn't.

"Oh my! What a pretty little princess, and a, uh, much darker princess..."

Look at how small they are, why they are so adorable! No, no, I must restrain myself - but look at them! Why the child dressed in goth is to die for! Her yellow eyes pierce me, like they're not even human - no there's nothing childish about them, they have seen horror like I have - have been ****** up like I have. I bet it wasn't her fault.

Look at her hair! Black as night, black as ebony - jet black. Hair in cute gothic pig-tails? To die for absolutely! Her bangs portrait her face. Lips black, eyeshadow of violet, greeen, and blue, her blush is that of the dead, but no she is very much alive in her pretty little gothic dress, so alive, so pretty. God I lover her purple and black stockings!

How they make small talk with the middle-aged woman, dear, I think I will become blind from looking at the princess! Green eyes! They hold so much envy! Envy! But she is so small - does she even know the emotion? Yes, yes, I relate to her too! Her too! Her skin is such a rosy color - so healthy. Red lipstick, pink blush, blue eyeshadow - bright blue and pink princess dress - white stockings - glitter slippers, and a glorious tiara...I must hold back! I must hold back! But I will start with her.

"So who might you be dears?"

Oh speak children louder so I can hear you better! No, I will just get closer...closer....

"I am a beloved princess who cannot have anyone to love," the princess swooned - so cute!, "All who draw near me die horrible deaths and so, I sit in my tower, hating myself, cursing the way I was made, and plotting the injustice done to me be done to everyone else!"

What a wonderful costume! Why the old lady looks somewhat flabbergasted, *****, she does not understand. She turns to my goth princess.

"I am a poor loving sister who was born a twin to a poor loving brother, but alas, they could not love each ohter, no matter how hard they tried. The sister would hurt and love her brother and her brother would do the same, they loved through the pain. To voice 'I love you' was to rip out thier vocal chords. Then, one day, as the sister slept next to her brother, purposely, so very purposely, he killed her in her sleep."

Bravo! What a ***** though! Give them more candy! They desreve it. They deserve it, I deserve them, we must be together now and share our pain, and hate, and love, they are mine - I come for them now! Yes, yes walk this way, walk by my bush that I hide by.....Closer, closer - closer! YOU"RE MINE!

"AHHH-!"

No no! I have to cover your mouth now!

"Be still my pink princess!"

"Nikki, help....me..."

"There now she's going to sleep, you see this is a magic sleep cloth, Nikki."

Layla lies still in his hands.

"Layla? Layla?"

" Poor thing, you're in shock. That's good. Good, don't make a sound, follow me now and your friend won't get hurt. Good good, very good."

"A-are you going to kill us mister?"

"Kill? No we are going to a happy place."

"Well, we're going to kill you."

The man looked at Nikki. Her sharp yellow eyes were wide to the brim, her pupils slits. She began to smile a smile that revealed sharp teeth from ear, to ear...

The sleeping princess suddenly awoke, twisted her head around that would have broken any mortal's neck, and looked up at the man - her eyes were white! Pale! Her smile was hollow! Tha man went to scream, but Layla put her hand around the man's throat in a crushing grip, "There now he'll go to sleep soon Nikki for this is a magic grip!"

Nikki laughed in a double voice, "Boy did you **** with the wrong children this night."

"Wha - wha?!"

Layla tightend her grip totally sealing off air now. "Do you see that little ghost lying over there by the trees? He's dead. We took these Halloween baskets from him too becasue we wanted them! Why should that little ghost have two? How greedy!"

"You're pretty greedy too," said Nikki....her smile curled into one of insanity, happiness, and rage, "HEH, HEH - HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY SISTER LIKE THAT!" She was swallowed up in a dark portal that was transforming her - the man felt himself rise as Layla transformed as well, growing into a thin pale, pale woman - totall white, eyes and lips too - and Nikki tansformed into -

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH - !!!" the man let out his final scream through South Light's grip as Nefero licked his claws which began to glow red....

SPLCHSK.

The body slumped to the ground. Nefero cracked his wrists. "Ah, do you wanna continue, Layla?"

"Why not, Nikki? We still have some time left."

Nefero glowed in a dark light and shrank. South Light grew in a foggy light and shrank. Thier forms contorted to thier childish guises, and the light sparkeld and bubbled away. Nikki grabbed Layla's hand and they pranced away as a woman screamed finding the sight of the dead ghost (how ironc no?).


Happy Halloween! I watch too many scary movies >_<
