Duelist Championship

(This stroyline takes place after the grand championship but before the memory arc. I hope that everyone enjoys it)

Chapter One:Visions of the Future
"Dark Magician attack Baby dragon." The Dark Magician shot a blast from his staff that destroyed baby dragon. "My baby dragon was in defense so i don't lose any life points." Joey said as he drew his card.
Joey-2500LPS Yami Yugi-2000LPS
"You're in trouble now pal because I sacrafice my rocket warrior and gearfried the iron knight to summon Red Eyes Black Dragon." "Your dragon is powerful Joey but it's no match for my Dark Magician." "Maybe not now, but i activate dragon nails. This card raises my monters attack by 600." "Oh no! Now red eyes has 3000 attack points." "Red eyes attack dark magician." Red eyes attack destroyed dark magician.
Yugi-1500LPS
"On my next turn yugi I'll destroy your queen's knight. It's your move." Yugi nodded as he drew his card. "I activate pot of greed. Now I draw two cards from my deck." He smiled at the cards he drew. "I activate the magic card Premature Burial. By giving up 800 of my life points, I can bring back a monster from my graveyard back to the field."
Yugi-700LPS
"The monster I choose is King's Knight." He placed king's knight on his duel disk and the king appeared on the field. "When king and queen's knight are in play, I can automatically summon Jack's Knight." Jack's Knight appeared on the field. 'This can't be good.' Joey thought to himself as he watched Yugi make his move. "Now I sacrafice my three knights in order to summon SLIFER THE SKY DRAGON!" Slifer on the duel disk and a giant black cloud appeared in the sky. A lightning bolt struck the ground as slifer's giant body and head slowly lowered from the cloud and appeared on the field. A mighty roar came from Slifer's first mouth. "Slifer is powerful Yuge, but you only have two cards in your hand so Slifer's attack is only 2000." "I know that Joey. That is why I end my turn." "Big mistake pal." Joey drew his card. "Red Eyes Black Dragon destroy Slifer with your inferno fire blast." Red eyes fired a massive fireball from his mouth toward Slifer. Instead of destroying Slifer, the blast destroyed a wall of Kuribohs. "Nice try Joey, but I discarded Kuriboh from my hand in order to save Slifer." "I end my turn. I hope you realize yugi that you won't be able to stop my attack for much longer." "We shall see about that." Yugi drew his card making Slifer's attack 2000. "This card will finish this duel. Behold Card of Sanctity." 'I can't believe that Yugi drew the one card that could save him.' "Now we have to draw until we each hold six cards in our hand." Joey and Yugi drew cards until they both had six. Slifer's attack rose from 2000 to 6000. "Now Slifer destroy Red Eyes Black dragon." Slifer opened his huge mouth and blasted red eyes with a huge yellow blast.
Joey-0000LPS
Yugi put their duel disks in the standby mode and shook hands. "That was an excellent duel Joey." Yami Yugi wnet back into the millenium puzzle and Yugi was standing there. "Thanks Yugi. I was so cl;ose to winning the duel to." They both started walking back toward the game shop that Yugi's grandpa owned and where Yugi lived as well. "So Yugi, rumor has it that you're not going to use the Egyptgian God cards anymore." "It's true Joey. Yami and I decided that it's best to keep the god cards kept in a safe place so they can't stolen. Only my grandpa and I know where the cards are kept. Actually, Yami wasn't thrilled when I told him that I was usung Slifer in our duel." "Well it's obvious that he changed his mind." Both Joey and Yugi laughed. "Something else that you have came to mind pal." "What's that Joey?" The millenium items that Marik and Isizu gave you. What did you do with them Yuge?" "Just like the god cards, I keep them in a secure spot as well." Yugi and Joey stopped walking. "I'm going to head home Yugi. It's been along day and I could use some rest." "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow Joey." Yugi and Joey headed in separate directions back to their homes.
The sun was setting as yugi entered the game shop. He walked over to and up the ladder. He grabbed a small metal case from the shelf. He unlocked the combination lock and opened the case. Inside the case was Obelisk The Tormentor and The Winged Dragon Of Ra. Yugi placed Slifer the Sky Dragon between the two other cards. He then closed and locked the case. He stepped off the step ladder after placing the case back on the shelf. Yugi's grandpa walked over to Yugi. "Hello Yugi. How did your day go?" "It went well grandpa.. I must say that Joey has come a long way thanks to you." "Well I did the best I could with the amount of time I had. I'm going to bed now Yugi." "Goodnight grandpa." Yugi went up to his room and changed into his pajamas. He sat on his bed thinking. An image of Yami appeared next to Yugi. "What is on your mind tonight Yugi?" "I was just thinking how nice it is to finally have some peace and quiet around here." Yami had a smile on his face. "I agree with you. We don't have to worry anymore about stolen souls sthe world. Although you must admit that it is wise to keep the millenium items and the egyptian god cards locked away for safe keeping." Yugi nodded his head at Yami. "It's a lot safer thenhaving them in the hands of a raving lunatic. Well, I'm going to get some sleep." Yugi got into bed and pulled up the covers. "Rest well Yugi." Yami vanished and went baqck into the millenium puzzle.
The scene shows the outside of Industrail Illusions at night. Inside Pegasus' office, Pegasus was asleep at his desk. His head was resting on a comic book that he was reading. He was talking in his sleep. "Don't worry my precious toons. I will be there to protect you." Just then Pegasus was standing in the room where he received the millenium eye. Shadi was standing before him. "Welcome Maximillion Pegasus. It's been a long time since we last saw each other." I remember you Shadi. You were the one that gave me the millenium eye. Please tell me. Why have you brought me here?" "I am here to tell you that soon you will have a duel. An important duel with The One who Has Three Eyes." "The one who has three eyes? I don't understand Shadi." You will when the time is right." Just then pegasus woke up and sat up in his chair. He had sweat coming down his forehead. "What a weird dream.Yit seems like more than Just a dream."
The scene is now Yugi's room. Yugi is sleeping soundly in his bed. All of a sudden Yugi and Yami are standing in a massive desert. Five suns and five moons appear in the sky. Then all three God monsters appeared appear before them standing on the desert sand. Yami and Yugi watch in awe as the desert starts to rumble and sands start to split open open underneath the gods. They can only watch in horror as the sands swallow up all three Egyptian Gods. Then the millenium items appear before them. The items move away from them and vanish off into the distance. Yugi wakes up and sits up in bed. He gets out of bed and looks outside his window. "Was that really a dream? Or could it mean that the world will be in danger again?"

Now a bad start. However, just a small fact, Kuriboh would have only stopped the LP damage. If you wanted realistic rules, then I'll sudjest like Negate Attack or Soul Sheild.
