OOC: Well, here we go with Chapter Four. Also, after this, I'll be posting a look into Kai's real life character, Kazu Hizaraki.

**NOTE: There will be a LOT of discovering in this chapter, some not entirely accurate with the games. Bear with me.

IC:

~Chapter Four: The AIDA Warrior~

Kai arrived at the Dome, and smiled. "Well, I guess I'll go meet up with Leon. He said Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground, didn't he? Isn't that. . . yeah, he did mention it being Hulle Granz Cathedral. I've heard about that; isn't it a Lost Ground?" he wondered aloud, and sighed. "Why am I even worrying? He's probably just gonna tell me something I already know. . .". Kai sighed heavily, and shook his head. Why did he have to go through all of this? Why couldn't this happen to somebody else? It ALWAYS had to happen to him.

Still thinking about why this was happening to Kai, he entered the Dome. He looked around, seeing if there was anything intresting going on. Nothing out of the ordinary. He walked over to the shop, and decided to buy a few Health Drinks and Sprite Drop's. Once he was satisfied (and almost out of GP), he turned around to face the Chaos Gate, and saw something he hoped he wouldn't for a while.

Standing there was Shunta, Akari, and Siegus, smiling at him. Kai watched them nervously, trembling. "Oh, this is jussssssssssst great. I had to run into these three, didn't I?" he thought, still trembling. Kai watched them; all they were doing was watching him, staring at him with eyes that never seemed to rest. Kai felt himself growing more nervous; why were they watching him? He fought his desire to run, and began walking towards the Chaos Gate.

The three smirked at him, but he continued walking towards the Chaos Gate. He stopped as they walked towards him. "Well, well, well. If it isn't little Kai." Siegus said, smiling. Kai looked at him angrily. "Shut up, you sad excuse for a Shadow Warlock." Kai told him, an angry tone in his voice. "What did you say!?" Siegus said, stepping towards Kai. "Stay calm, Siegus." Shunta said, putting a hand out to stop him. He stopped immediatly.

Shunta walked over to him, smiling evily. It filled Kai with fear; what was he going to do to him? He stepped right in his face; so close, his nose was barely two inches away. "Heh. . . Kai, here's a word of advice: Don't trust anyone." he smiled, and the three disappeared, as the data surronded them. Kai continued looking straight forward. "Dammit. . ." he said, clenching his fist. He entered the keywords, and gated to Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground.

When he arrived, Kai was rather suprised; the only thing here was a Cathedral. "Oh well, I shouldn't have expected more." he sighed. As he walked towards the large doors, he looked around. It looked like they were floating in the sky; clouds surronded the area, and nothing else was here. Kai looked around, wondering if there had ever been anything else here besides just this Cathedral.

When he arrived at the doors, he nervously pushed them open. Walking in, his footsteps echoed around the entire room. It looked like a regular church in real life; there were benches, books in front of them, and up front was the reading area. He immediatly noticed the lone figure standing there. It could only be one person (well, beast); Leon. Kai smiled. "I'm here, Leon. Whudd'ya want?" he asked. "To tell you the truth about yourself.", he replied.

Leon turned around, his face seemingly dead serious."I will tell you the truth of why you are "special". I will reveal to you all that you seek answers for, "AIDA Warrior"." he said. "AIDA. . . Warrior? Are you saying that what Shunta told me is true? About AIDA's?" he said, his eyes widening. "Naturally. You have already met a few AIDA, I should say. . ." he laughed half-heartidly."What did you mean by AIDA Warrior!? "Kai shouted angrily. "I shall now tell you the truth. . ." he replied, laughing.

"You already know of AIDA, correct?" he asked. Kai nodded, an angry expression on his face. "Well, you know of AIDA's being able to infect player's correct?" he asked. Kai nodded again. "Well, you see, you are different. Instead of your character composed of the natural PC data, you have many bits of AIDA in you. In effect, the moment you created that character, you fused with AIDA." he said. "Wh-What!?" Kai stammered out, gasping.

"You are part AIDA, in effect. Also, I should tell you that the AIDA is growing inside of you. Your data is already larger than most fields, and is growing each second." he said. "But. . . I thought that player's infected with AIDA could go into a coma?" Kai asked. "Well, even though that is true, your AIDA-data and your normal data grow together, seemingly balancing this fact out." Leon said.

"So. . . your saying that my Player-Character data is half-normal, and half-AIDA, which makes me "special"?" he asked. "Yes." he smiled. "But. . . how does that make me special?" Kai asked inquisitively. "Well, you are, in essence, half an AIDA. Also, you SHOULD have acsess to some special skills, thanks to your AIDA power. " he replied. "And now, I take my leave of you." he said, and began walked off of the alter, and out the doors.

Kai watched him, sighing. "This is intresting. . ." he replied, smiling. "What a development." a voice said, clapping. Kai turned, and noticed Shunta and Akari at the back of the Cathedral. "Now that you know the truth, maybe you will be able to compete with the Azure Twilight, though I doubt it." he laughed. Shunta began walking out, and Akari turned towards Kai. "I'm going to have fun with you. . ." she smiled, pulling her gigantic sword from her back.

OOC: MANY DEVELOPMENTS =D Remember, next Chapter will be short, and also, it'll be about Kai in real life. Remember, READ AND REVIEW.

Oda: Well, Luffy's arm can stretch 72 Gomu Gomu's. 1 Gomu Gomu is equal to 10 Maerchen Gomu Gomu's. 1 Maerchen Gomu Gomu is equivalent to 10 Funky Gomu Gomu's which means that he can stretch 7,200 Funky Gomu Gomu's. A Poison Gomu Gomu is equal to 10 Gomu Gomu's.

Yes. . . Tri-Edge will most definatly appear. But his role might be suprising. . . =D.

Also, I already have a continuation in mind, after this series (probably 2 - 3parts long), based on my Role-Play .Hack//The Future Of "The World". =D

Anyways, keep reviewing.

EDIT: Here comes the next Chapter. . .

~Offline One/Chapter Five - Real Life~

Kazu flicked his pencil against his desk, zoned out. He was in his Creative Writing Class, and his assignment was to write a four-page story about anything. Usually, Kazu would be done in the period, but today, his mind was seemingly blank. Where his "Creative And Imaginative" department in his mind usually was, there was a big, white space.

Kazu looked around the class, noticing Togani. The small, nimble boy was Kazu's best friend. He had jet black hair, like Kazu, only he had red bangs in the front. His head jerked up, and noticed Kazu. He smiled, and waved to him. Kazu did the same. He then turned back to his paper, wondering about what to write.

Suddenly, the bell rang loudly. Startled, Kazu looked up. He hadn't heard the bell in a while, so that was why he was startled. He looked around. Most people had finished two to three pages, and the best students had done four pages. Kazu looked at his blank page, and blushed slightly.

"Alright class, these papers are due in tomorrow. Dismissed." the teacher told them. Kazu got up, stuffing his paper and books into his bookbag, and quickly walked out of the class. He waited by his locker for Togani, who just so happened to have a locker right beside Kazu.

Togani arrived quickly. Kai smiled.

"Hey. Where are you in your story?" Togani asked curiously.

"I haven't even started yet. . . I totally blanked out." Kazu said, laughing.

"Whatever. Wanna go to the arcade? I heard they got Shinizi there; took 'em forever!" Togani smiled brightly.

"Nah, I've got stuff to do. . ." Kazu said, and walked off, towards the doors.

"What the hell is up with him?" Togani questioned, but, of course, nobody answered him; he had said it lower than a whisper.

OOC: Well, that's it. Just to let you know, this takes place before Kazu plays "The World"; it's just meant to show Kazu as a real person, and not just as Kai.

**NOTE: Details about the sequel for this (.Hack//Fighting Against Deception) are here. Just a few minor details.

- Data Bugs AND AIDA make more frequent appearances
- Kai takes a quest to upgrade his Job Class, and become an Edge Punisher in the making
- Five VERY Important Characters will be introduced. In a sense, you know them, but you don't. No hints. =/
- Kai begins to. . . WAIT. That's a mega-spoiler. No-no.

That's it. Happy Reading + Reviewing!

OOC: Yay. Time to rewrite the entire damn chapter. There will be a lot of differences from before, oh well. Concepts the same. I just felt like making it different. SO READ THE NEW CHAPTER SIX. It's much longer, and much better, IMO.

IC: ~CHAPTER.six .-. AWAken~

". . . Shit.", was Kai's response, looking towards Akari. Her blade looked to weigh about fifty pounds, maybe even seventy-five, but as it was a game, it didn't particularly matter. He noticed her gripping it tightly; was she even going to focus on fighting him? She was over level one-hundred; why would she be afraid of a level two? Fact of the matter was, he was screwed any way he looked at it. He noticed Akari was grinning. Then, she opened her mouth to speak. "Hmmmmm. You're level two, and I'm Akari, The Arbiter, level one-hundred and seven. That means it will take me. . .", she did a quick calculation, moving her hand in the air, as if solving it on an invisible chalkboard, "ten seconds to completely demolish you. Any longer than that, and Shun will be displeased with me. And I won't allow that to happen.", she said, and then, without a moment of hesitation, she was running towards Kai. Kai was amazed at her speed; how could she move so fast with a blade of that size? Within less than two seconds, she had gone from the back of the cathedral, to the front. Leaping slightly, with the jump much more powered by momentum, Akari was thrust into the air, holding her sword above her head. And then, in one quick motion, she struck downwards. Where her sword lay, a large crack in the floor of the cathedral now appeared. However, her target was not underneath her sword. Looking towards her left, she noticed him, holding his scythe now. He pointed it at her, a small grin on his face. "I call bullshit on your claim.", he laughed. "Why'd you have to move, you bastard? Shun's gonna be mad at me now!", she whined. "No matter. I have six seconds left. Time to show this loser what it means to fight a member of Azure Twilight!", she thought, and at that, she held her sword in front of her, and it began to light up. "Ready to die?", she asked in a voice that would send a tingle up even a mass murderer's spine. "Because I'm ready TO KILL YOU!!", she screamed.

"Split Particle!!!!", she shouted, and with that, the light on her sword shot away. It appeared like string, but completely white. And it was flying towards Kai. Kai gasped; he had never heard of this move. But then again, this wasn't surprising; CC Corp didn't announce the name of skills that belonged to those above Level One-Hundred. Meaning this was either an exclusive skill, or one that hadn't been announced. However, this wasn't what Kai was worried about; it was what the skill was currently doing that worried him. "Seventeen beams of light. I need to dodge them all if I want to survive. . . This is next to impossible!", Kai thought, exasperated. The first was nearing him. Kai jumped over it, putting his left foot onto it, testing if it was solid. It was. "Good. Now it's only sixteen. Not so impossible anymore.", he thought to himself. Leaping into the air, and doing a graceful backflip, he dodged three. "Thirteen left.", he thought, as he swung himself to the right in midair, dodging another. Twelve left. But when Kai looked down, he drained of colour; seventeen beams of light remained below him. Turning his head slightly, his fears were confirmed; there were the five beams of light behind him, less than four metres away. And then, they pierced him. And he knew he had been PKed once more.

And then, the other twelve beams of light pierced into him. And then, the light faded away from them. They were metal, and then, looking at Akari's sword, Kai understood; her sword was half the size it had been. It's entire left half was gone. It seperated itself from the whole. "Just. . . perfect. . . That attack hit. . . . me for. . . . 169 983 damage. . . . .", Kai thought, hanging in the air, like some grotesque doll. He felt his arms limp, and then, he felt himself begin to fade. And then, he felt the blades leave his body, and could hear Akari's laughter. "Pathetic. I thought the AIDA Warrior would be more of a challenge! Pity you weren't. . .", she said, and began to walk away.

Akari was happy with herself. She had done exactly as Shunta had instructed; she had defeated the AIDA Warrior. She knew that Azure Twilight would be pleased with her, and that she would recieve an update in her rank. Perhaps she could now meet the Guild Master! Oh, the possibilites were endless. However, she couldn't help but feel somewhat sorry for Kai. He hadn't wanted to be "The AIDA Warrior"; he had just wanted to play the game. But that wasn't her problem; he had been chosen, just like Shun had been chosen in R:1. He had recieved the Braclet. That alone meant that he was special. And she could be too.

"Crimson. . . . . . Impel!!!", a voice shouted behind her. Akari had enough time to turn around, before she realized that Kai's scythe was hurtling towards her. And with a ferocious speed. "Shit! It's too close to block!", she thought to herself, and then the scythe pierced into her. However, it only hit her for two HP. The scythe continued back around, and then, right when it was about to pass Kai (above his head), he grabbed it out of mid-air, and looked at Akari, smiling. "Pity you weren't able to kill me.", he smiled. Akari looked at Kai, pure disgust in her eyes. "WHY AREN'T YOU DEAD?!?!", she screamed. The sheer anger in her voice seemed to shake everything around them. For a few moments, there was nothing but silence. Then Kai began snickering, and it turned to laughter. "WHAT THE HELL IS SO FUNNY?!?!?!", she screamed, even louder than before.

"You didn't think I wouldn't come here without a Revival Sphere, did you? I'd be totally stupid if I didn't. I'm not as stupid as you think I am.", he said, grinning. Akari's anger seemed to subside at this; she let out a small sigh, and her grin returned to her face. "So it was just a fluke. . . then no worries. Shun won't be angry at me if it's just a fluke. Now, AIDA Warrior, prepare to die. You don't even need to see my Split Particle again, and certainly not in it's entirity. One attack will finish you.", she said, and at that, she began charging towards Kai. Kai realized that he couldn't block this; even if he did, he would still be struck for around 5000 - 7000 damage, thus a one-hit kill. Kai didn't want to die now; if he did, then he would keep dying. He needed to show Azure Twilight that he wasn't just some "pawn" in their twisted game. And maybe he could start here.

Akari had now leapt high into the air, much higher than before. "Goodbye, AIDA Warrior Kai!!!!!!", she shouted, her sword held high above her head. "This time, there will be no fluke. He will die. This much will happen. If another fluke does occur, he might see Split Particle entirely, and maybe even "that". . .", she thought to herself, but there was almost a 99.8% chance she wouldn't need to. The other 0.2% was up to chance, but that was almost zero. She was nearing Kai. In two seconds, she would kill him. And then, it would begin. And Azure Twilight would head it all. But, before that, Kai had to die once more. So, she brought her sword down, and struck him.

But, what she cut into, didn't cut through. She had been stopped. How? It wasn't by Kai's scythe. It wasn't that Kai had moved. It wasn't his arm. Nothing had stepped between her and him. However, something had manifested itself.

AIDA.

It looked like a third arm, of sorts. Kai had both his arms shielding himself, as if that would protect him somehow. And out of his elbows, black "arms" had manifested. They held the same position as Kai's arms, but they definatly looked different than regular arms. They were "oozing", as if made of slime, or a sludge of some sort. But when the "sludge" fell away, it just disappeared. Nothing was on the floor beneath them. Akari gasped; how had the AIDA manifested! It was far too early for it to have. Perhaps a defense mechanism? No, that wasn't it. Kai's eyes were still shut. And then, he began to open them. When they were fully opened, Akari gasped once more.

Half of Kai's left eye was entirely black. Half of his iris was also completely black; and half of his pupil was blood red. The other was normal. And it seemed to be. . . growing? Yes. It was oozing, very slowly, across his eye. A tiny more of his iris was now black, and some of his pupil was now red. Suddenly, the AIDA pushed Akari's sword backwards, and because she was holding onto it, she was sent flying into a bench. Smashing into it, she flipped back up, sticking her sword in the ground. She turned to look at Kai. "What the hell did you do?!?! Did you awaken your AIDA?!", she shouted at him. Kai looked back at her, a sad smile on his face. Not a pout, not a whine, not a fake-sadness; a genuine sadness. Suddenly, it turned into a grin. And an evil one, at that. Akari felt a shiver go down her spine. "What the f--k is he?!", she thought angrily.

Kai looked at her, still with that evil smile. "Akari, The Arbiter, I don't know what I did.", he said. Only, he didn't speak normally; he spoke with two seperate voices. One was the normal Kai voice; the other was a deeper voice, and it had a dark tone about it. Kai looked at her, the darkness in his left eye dancing around, still growing. "But I do know one thing. . . ", he said in his double voice, "You're about to die."

OOC: I didn't want to revive Kingdom Hearts Reality Show, but I did. This is not my second revival. IT IS MY FIRST. I revived it last night, but that damn error caused my post to be deleted. Anyways, Read And Review please. Next Chapter will be tomorrow, possibly Tuesday. MIGHT be as late as Wednesday.
