Destiny's Pearl

Three kingdoms, one pearl that belongs to the one that controls the fate of the world. Destiny's pearl.

Chapter 1: Dawning of A New Age

There are three kingdoms in our world. They are light, twilight and darkness. These kingdoms have collided with each other over the many past millenniums. But for the past ten thousand years, they have only seen eye to eye. But now, their destinies are about to collide. The kingdoms of Eszura (light), Yeroca (twilight) and Asceda (darkness) would soon meet each other once again. A recent discovery has been made by the dark ones from Asceda. It was on one fateful day that changed the world forever.

"We've got it!" yelled Grenca, the old yet wise leader of the group of agents sent to find a mysterious artefact rumoured to be hidden in the only place that separated these three kingdoms ... a mountainous cave called Kerina. Kerina Mountain was particularly dangerous, yet the agents from Asceda believed that they could handle anything that came their way. "We'll get the damn thing and send it to the boss," Grenca continued to say. "Come on! It's time that we got what we wanted."

Suddenly, a sword noise came out of nowhere. The cave went black and many screams could be heard. "You won't take it," said a mysterious voice. The darkness turned back into light and the agents were on the floor in a pool of blood. The one that had killed the agents had disappeared for now. Grenca was the only one that had survived. "Oh my ..." he whispered. "No! NOOO!" He ran out of Kerina and back to Asceda. "NOOOOOOOOOO!"

Meanwhile, there were things going on in the world that came to all of the three kingdom's attention. It had seemed that there were strange creatures appearing in the towns, cities and villages. Immediately, Eszura and Yeroca suspected that Asceda was up to its old tricks again. And Asceda knew that their agents had failed in retrieving the artefact. Only chaos was seen.

No one knew why these things were happening. A young villager girl saw that her home was on fire. "No!" she yelled. She ran towards where the fires were coming from. "What's going on?!" The many people that lived here all fell to the ground being burnt by the fire and their corpses being reduced to nothing, but rubble. This girl looked at an old man who was stood there looking at her and wearing a black hooded cloak.

He turned away from her and then mysteriously disappeared. The girl, who was called Skye, turned to the attention of the monsters that were headed her way. She ran back to her house into the blazing fire. There was a trunk that would soon be burnt to nothing. She opened it immediately and took out all the weapons that were in there. And then Skye's eyes were set on the family she had once loved. They were there ... on the ground ... dead. Only sorrow existed in her heart.

"How ... how did this all happen?" she whispered. "Never mind. I have to go to Eszura's main city whilst I can!" Putting the weapons in a bag and carrying it on her shoulder, Skye ran out of the village ... yet the monsters were chasing her. "NOOOOOO!" They pounced on her, but she simply covered herself. A light was shone and the monsters ran away. Skye was mystified by this, yet she was eager to find out what was going on.

As soon as she left the village, a pearl appeared in her hand. "What? What is this?" she whispered. There were now dark soldiers sent from Asceda going to attack her. She put the pearl in her pocket and grabbed all of the stuff running for the docks. There was a boat there. She jumped on to it, put the bag of weapons down and then grabbed the rope to pull it to the boat so that the soldiers could not reach her. When they did eventually get to the docks, Skye was already turning a corner rowing the boat down the river.

"Dammit!" said the general. "Do you know who that was, sire?" asked a soldier. "Of course I do, you pathetic idiot!" he yelled. "It's her. Of course. It's her. Destiny has become reincarnated."
