| Styles Upon Styles | I wrote this story for a thread I am a part of. So I'll post it here too! DrBanxon: The Wizard Part 1: The Exiled Order Chapter One DrBanxon was slumped on the sofa of his room in the Hollow Bastion thinking. The reason he was thinking was because he wasn’t working. The reason he wasn’t working was because he had been kicked out of the Organization XII. That was due in part of him being the son of the original human of the leader, Xemnas. What he needed was excitement. What he needed was some time off to set himself free of the constant monotony of life that he had become so accustomed to. What he needed, was to become whole again. DrBanxon continued to lie on his sofa, thinking. He was thinking of the only way to come out of this deep depression. He was also thinking, somewhere in the back of his mind, the part that keeps nagging you just soft enough for you to bear it, but strong enough to chip away bricks off the Great Wall of China, he knew that the rent was due once again, and once again he was going to be late. He was thinking all of this when suddenly, the phone rang and jerked him to his senses. Banxon reached over slowly and picked it up. “Hello…” he spoke in a dreamy and distant tone. “Banxon? Is that you? You sound terrible.” This was the unmistakable voice of his friend Rextanse. “I guess it didn’t go so well, did it.” “You know me better than most, what do you think?” DrBanxon had met Rextanse a few years ago in the park. After a few strenuously close rounds bloody knuckles, the likes of which he had never played, they had made it a habit of playing each other every week. There was a sigh on the other end of the receiver, followed by a short pause before Rextanse spoke. “I guess you’re missing rent again this month.” He said, as easily as if he had picked the thought out of Banxon’s head. Rextanse did know him better than most people from all the afternoons in the park conversing across the park benches, while on a different level, quenching his thirst for a fierce intellectual battle he would never be able to find elsewhere. Now, no one could predict his moves better than Rextanse. “Look, I know a way you can make rent, and maybe a little more.” Said Rextanse and Banxons ears suddenly perked up. “I am one of the leaders of this group called ‘The Exiled Order’. It’s for the people who were booted out of the original Organization XII.” DrBanxon hesitated, then said “Wait a minute, why didn’t you tell me about this before?” “I couldn’t,” replied Rextanse, “The others, Zaxeldion, Xowlins, and Xana told me not to tell you. Until you got out of the Organization, of course. By the way, the pay is pretty good and you get a room there.” DrBanxon quickly sunk down again. This wasn’t what he needed right now. He needed a job, but without thinking of anything else he could do in the next few days, he took down the Orders phone number. “Thanks for the tip.” He said lightly, trying to sound grateful, even though he was hesitant about going in the first place. “Sometimes I think I’d be lost without your advice.” “No one’s ever lost forever.” Spoke Rextanse with some words of wisdom he was known for. “We always find our way back home in the end.” And with that comforting thought fresh in his mind, DrBanxon hung up the phone and slowly fell asleep on the couch. Chapter Two When DrBanxon woke up, he wasn’t on his couch. He was on the floor, in great pain. “What happened?” He said, not expecting an answer from Rextanse. “I had to push you off of your couch to wake you up. I yelled and hit you, but you just lied there. I thought you were dead! Come on, let’s go.” Replied Rex. “What are you doing here? Where are we going? What’s going on?” said Banxon, finally looking away from Rextanse. He saw 3 other people all in nice black cloaks. Rextanse was wearing one, too. “Who are you people? What are you wearing? One of the mysterious people stepped forward. DrBanxon, expecting an attack, stepped back. “We are the leaders of the Exiled Order. I am Zaxeldion, ‘The Originator’. This,” he said, positioning his arm to the right, in front of another person, "is Xowlins, ‘The Mage’s Artist.’” He then swung his arm to the right. “And this is Xana, ‘The Fallen Angel’. Of course you know Rextanse, ‘The Omni Present Specter’. We have come to inaugurate you into the Order.” DrBanxon couldn’t take all of this in. He was extremely nervous. “What do I have to do? Some kind of test or something?” Boy was he in for a surprise. The so called Xowlins yelled, “This is crazy! We have enough members! We don’t need some guy with no talent to mess up our plans!” DrBanxon was infuriated. “Quiet Xowlins!” Exclaimed Xana, “We need all the help we can get right now! And do you have proof he is talent inept?” “I wouldn’t be talking, Xana! After you messed up that one mission we had! This guy couldn’t kill a fly!” That was it. He couldn’t take it anymore. Banxon reached into his pockets and pulled out a small sphere the size of a golf ball. He threw is at Xowlins but he took out his staff in time to hit it out of the window. There was a large explosion outside. Xowlins ran after DrBanxon, staff in hand, yelling. “Stop!” Xana screamed, but once she did, Xowlins stopped and leered at her. “Don’t tell me what to do!” He looked back at Banxon, “We’ll finish this later.” And with that, he ran out the door and didn’t return that day. Chapter Three “Don’t mind him,” Zaxeldion told DrBanxon, “He’s just a baby. He can’t handle the fact that he has no control over who can or can’t join. So, Banxon, why do you want to join the Exiled Order?” DrBanxon didn’t know why. He didn’t even know if he wanted to. “Well... Rextanse suggested that I join, I never really asked to. But I guess to get back at the Organization XII for booting me out. And I’m really running low on munny so…” “Are you willing to do anything we tell you and take on any monster or beast we tell you to defeat?” This question wasn’t from Zaxeldion, but from Xana. “Uh… okay…” “And kill any person no matter how close they are to you?” “Um… yeah…” “And destroy the biggest groups and organizations that are enemies to the Exiled Order?” “Er… sure…” “Okay! You’re in!” said Rextanse. “Really? That’s it?” DrBanxon took a sigh of relief at this thought. But other thoughts, thoughts of giant beasts and large wars of people, clouded his mind as he went down the stairs with Xana, Rextanse, and Zaxeldion. He was now part of the Exiled Order! But things got worse. * * * * * Once they got to the Exiled Castle and showed Banxon his new room, he went straight to sleep. It was already 10:00 at night. But when he woke up, somebody knocked on his door. He opened it, not wanting to see what he saw. Xowlins. “What do you want, Cowlins? Go to your own room.” Banxon didn’t want to put up with Xowlins on his first day. He might get in trouble. “We didn’t finish what I started yesterday, MrsBanxon.” It looked like Xowlins was ready to fight Banxon, but he didn’t feel like fighting. “I’m not going to fight you, idiot. Get out of my room. Now.” Xowlins took out his staff. “Then let’s take this outside.” Chapter Four “Fine then. Let’s go.” DrBanxon walked outside with Xowlins, thinking he couldn’t beat someone who was 2nd in command to the Exiled Order. I can’t win… I have to think of a way to get out of this. But it was too late. Xowlins had taken out his staff and everyone had gathered. But no one tried to stop the fight. Banxon couldn’t run from the scene. He was practically surrounded. “Let’s get this over with!” Xowlins yelled, as 5 creatures rose from the ground. They all leaped at Banxon. “What? What are these?!” He was hoping for an answer, but had to attack before he was killed. Banxon took one of his bombs and threw it at the strange creatures, which looked like giant twitching ants with big heads. The bomb exploded and killed all of the monsters. It also blew back some of the other members watching, it was a rather large explosion. “Those were heartless. And those were small ones, too.” Xowlins sneered at this. “There will be more soon, if you don’t leave the Order.” What?! I haven’t even been here for a day and he wants me gone! “I’m not leaving any time soon, Xowlins. Not in your dreams!” DrBanxon leapt up and disappeared. “Where did he go?!” Xowlins was furious. He couldn’t stand Banxon! Then, he reappeared, behind Xowlins. DrBanxon got him in a headlock with one hand and took a small bomb out of his pocket with his other hand. “Let me go!” “Not until you drop your staff and walk away!” Xowlins wouldn’t give up that easily, but neither would DrBanxon. Xowlins tried to escape, but Banxon put a bomb in Xowlins’ mouth. The bomb exploded. Both of them were blown back, DrBanxon only getting a few small scratches. But Xowlins’ jaw would be useless. It was almost completely blown off. “My mou… You! You id dis do me!” His speech was like babbling. All of the people watching gasped and started to whisper. “Did you see that?!” “I know! His mouth is like, gone!” “What will happen to him?” “I hope he’s okay!” “Shut up people! Go away! We don’t need your commentary!” DrBanxon was infuriated. He didn’t want to hurt Xowlins this much, but at the same time, he did. He didn’t know what to think. Then Rextanse came in and saved the day. “What’s going on here? DrBanxon?” Rex looked astonished. “I would think you would be the last person to do something this stupid.” He looked toward Xowlins, “You need to go to the Hospital Wing. Let’s go. And Banxon,” He wheeled around back to DrBanxon, “I don’t want anymore of this.” Everyone left. DrBanxon was left alone. By himself. With no one. Alone… |

| Styles Upon Styles | Part 2: The Wand Affair Chapter Five DrBanxon couldn’t sleep that night. Or the next. For three days nobody talked to him. Not even look at him. He usually stayed in his room, avoiding the others. Xowlins hadn’t come out of the Hospital yet, the Healers, or doctors, couldn’t recover him. Banxon hadn’t even get a mission, or a job yet. After about 4 days he was expecting something from one of the leaders of the Exiled Order, but they wouldn’t speak to him either. Even Rextanse. “Rextanse…” DrBanxon whispered to himself alone in the dark. He got up and walked outside of his room. He was going to get something to do. He was going out of his mind, he was. Banxon stopped in front of Rextanse’s door. He knocked. “Come…” He mumbled something after that, but it was unintelligible. DrBanxon walked in. Rextanse was sitting at a desk, neck high in papers. The room was pitch black, except for a lamp on his desk. Rextanse turned around. “Oh, it’s you.” Rextanse got back to his paperwork, not caring when DrBanxon didn’t leave. “I wanted to ask for a job,” You could DrBanxon was nervous; his voice was shaky, “Like a mission to go on so I can regain my status. Right now everyone hates me. Just because I almost killed someone that nobody really liked anyways. So I need the toughest guy you need killed.” He wasn’t really expecting Rextanse to reply, on account of Xowlins. “We do have one guy.” DrBanxon was surprised (irony) to hear something out of Rextanse. “I don’t know his name, nobody does. He kills hundreds a year, but every time we go after him, he disappears. With your element of Surprise, I thought you could sneak up on him.” Rextanse got up and turned on a light. His room was extremely messy, papers and folders sticking out of file cabinets. He looked like he was at his desk for days. “Where can I find him?” DrBanxon was going to find this guy, no matter the cost. “Somewhere in Traverse or Twilight Town. That’s where he was last seen. But he’s one dangerous person. I wouldn’t mess with him.” “It doesn’t matter. I’m going in my Gummi Ship. The next time you see me, I’ll have this guy, dead or alive.” DrBanxon left the room. Rextanse sat back down and put his hands over his face. He couldn’t believe what he just did. He looked, somehow, ashamed in himself. Like he had done something wrong. Rextanse knew next time he would see DrBanxon, Banxon would be completely different. Chapter Six DrBanxon woke up the next day ready to go to Twilight Town. He figured this guy would be there. Rextanse told him that this guy was code-named Feirce. So he went outside and yelled to the other Exiled Order members, “Everybody! Everyone listen!” Everyone stopped what they were doing to hear what he was going to say. “I am leaving for Twilight Town,” With that everybody clapped and cheered, they thought DrBanxon was going without coming back. “I am leaving for Twilight Town to kill Feirce!” There was a murmur of whispers. Nobody could believe this. He’d never live. “Does anyone want to come with me?” He knew no one would want to. Or did they? “I’ll go with you.” This voice sounded familiar, but you could tell it was sarcastic. “Who said that?” DrBanxon wanted to know. Not to his surprise, Xowlins came out from the crowd. He started to laugh. “You’ll never make it though Feirce! You suck!” He laughed maniacally at this. “You’ll see. I’ll make it. Alive.” With that, DrBanxon left for his Gummi Ship, which he got when he joined the Exiled Order. * * * * * DrBanxon was about half way to Twilight Town, when his vessel crashed into a meteor. His ship went out of control and crashed a few more times. The last time, time hurtled into a planet. Traverse Town. “I guess I’ll stay here for a while.” He went around town, looking for someone with expert Gummi skills. That’s when he found Cid. “Who are you stranger? I haven’t seen you here before.” Then Cid saw his cloths. “Whoa! Are you one of those Organization XII guys?! Get away from me!” He took out a sword and went to attack DrBanxon, but he dodged his blow. “No! I’m not an Organization member!” Banxon pleaded with the man. He put down his weapon. “I am an Exiled Order Member. I am not here to hurt you. Do you know any Gummi Ship experts? Mine vessel is totaled.” “Sure! I’ll fix your ship. For munny.” DrBanxon paid the Cid a large sum of munny. “My name is Cid, by the way.” Cid put out his hand. “Banxon. DrBanxon. Nice to meet you.” DrBanxon shook Cid’s hand. Later… “Well, I’m done with your ship. It’s all yours. Where are you going, anyway?” Banxon was reluctant to tell Cid of his mission. “Um… I’m going to Twilight Town to find a man. I don’t know his name, but he is extremely dangerous. Code-named Feirce. You heard of him?” “Couldn’t say I have. Well, bye, DrBanxon.” “Good-Bye Cid. We shall meet again.” And with that, DrBanxon was off again. Chapter Seven It took 4 hours to finally get Twilight Town, but DrBanxon got there. He went all over the place looking for Feirce. But nothing came up. He asked all the inhabitants of the town, but they were all afraid of him. “I’m not here to kill you!” He’d tell them. But they didn’t care. If some dude with green hair in a spooky black cloak came up to me I’d be afraid too. The people who weren’t scared said they had no idea who he was looking for. “Nobody fits that description here.” DrBanxon was furious. He was walking up a street when he saw a man in a dark alley. DrBanxon had really good vision, so he could sneak up on people. The man saw Banxon and ran off. But Banxon didn’t chase after him. He was going use his element of Surprise. So he did. DrBanxon disappeared. Then he reappeared. Right next to the man. “Ah! Who are you?!” The man exclaimed. “DrBanxon of the Exiled Order. Who are you?” Banxon put a bomb in his hand. “You don’t need to know that!” Once again the man ran. But this time DrBanxon went after him. He noticed that the man had a brown coat on. “Show yourself! Take that coat off!” So that’s exactly what he did. He took his coat off and threw it at DrBanxon. The coat seemed to have a mind of its own. It wrapped itself around DrBanxon, making him unable to move. “Damn! You won’t get away!” But it was too late. The man had gotten away. By the time DrBanxon got out of the coat, he could have been half-way to another planet. He asked all the people if they saw anyone leave on a Gummi Ship. They all said yes. “Thank you.” DrBanxon was on a wild goose chase now. He got in his vessel and went off, again. For the third time. This time he looked for another ship. And to his dismay, he didn’t see any ships. Until one came shooting past him. So he followed it at high-speed. “That ship is going mighty fast.” So he decided to go top-speed and crash into the ship. But the ship he was following landed on some world DrBanxon did not know about. So he landed too. A man came out of the ship. DrBanxon couldn’t tell if it was the man he was after, on account of Banxon never saw him out of his coat. But he did kind of look like him. So he pursued. “Hey! Come back here!” The man looked around and ran for his life. Then the man stopped. “Why am I running?” He had a devilish look on his face. But DrBanxon didn’t see his face. He was too far away. But he did see the stick he took out of his pocket. And he heard the words that came out of his mouth. “Crucio!” DrBanxon fell to the floor in extreme pain. He yelled and struggled but the pain got worse. He was out cold. Chapter Eight DrBanxon couldn’t move, but he sure could think. What is going on? What did that guy just do to me? He must be Feirce. But I’m in too much pain to move. I’ll have to try. So DrBanxon tried to get up with all his might, and succeeded. He was angry. He ran around this unknown planet in search of the man he thought was Feirce. He used his Surprise method but it failed. Feirce’s ship was still there, so he couldn’t have left. But just in case, he used some of his bombs to destroy both his and Feirce’s ships. “Where is he?” DrBanxon ran for hours looking. Soon a day passed. Then another. He had already went around the entire world twice. But still nothing. DrBanxon didn’t know it, but Feirce was using an Invisibility Spell. But he wasn’t always invisible. And DrBanxon found that out. He saw Feirce in a weapons shop. But before Feirce could see him, he threw a small bomb in the store. And completely destroyed it. Feirce came out of the ruins and saw DrBanxon. “You!” He looked furious. DrBanxon could see his face now. “Hey! You look like…” But he was interrupted by Feirce, who now had his hand in his hands. “Locomotor Mortis!”DrBanxons legs locked and he couldn’t move them. “No!” Feirce started running. Once the spell wore away, DrBanxon got up and ran after him. But Feirce had more tricks up his sleeve. He pointed his wand at Banxon and yelled, “Levicorpus!” DrBanxon was dangled in the air by his ankle. “What’s happening?!” Feirce was laughing like a maniac. “Liberacorpus!” DrBanxon fell from the air, only to hit his head hard on the pavement. Feirce ran some more, only to stop in front of a large can on the floor. He pointed hi wand at the can. “Portus!” The can glowed a brilliant blue. Feirce touched the can and disappeared. DrBanxon got up and went for the can. It was still glowing when he touched it. He also disappeared. It felt like he was being pulled from his belly button and being pulled inside-out. Then, he was in Twilight Town. Again. Chapter Nine “Where is he!?” DrBanxon couldn’t stand Feirce any more. So he went to the same alley he found Feirce in the first place. That’s probably where he lives. DrBanxon laughed at this thought. So he ran for the alley. Sure enough, Feirce was there. “How predictable!” “Now you see here, Organization Member!” Feirce took out his wand. DrBanxon noticed it was jet black and had jewels embedded on its handle. “I’m not an Organization Member!” Feirce looked at Banxon with an ugly look on his face. “I am with the Exiled Order and…” But he was interrupted. “The Exiled Order?” He mumbled something under his breath. “Could this be...” “What did you say? I didn’t hear…” “Silencio!” DrBanxon suddenly got quiet and couldn’t say anything. He was literally speechless. He tried to yell but no noise came out of his mouth. “Muffliato!” Now DrBanxons ears were filled with a loud buzzing and he couldn’t hear anything but it. So he didn’t hear what Feirce said next. “This must be what Rextanse sent me. So this is the great DrBanxon. What a loser.” DrBanxon didn’t know what he was saying, but he still leapt on top of Feirce and stuffed bombs in his pockets without him noticing. “Get off!” Feirce pushed Banxon off of him, but it was too late. The bombs exploded, sending Feirce into a brick wall, while DrBanxon landed unharmed on his feet. He laughed in his mind, because he couldn’t really laugh out loud. Then the spells wore away. “Ha! There is nothing keeping me from killing you now!” “Nothing was stopping you before, DrBanxon.” Banxon jumped back as Feirce got up. How does he know my name? “Shut up!” He threw more bombs at Feirce but his aim was pretty bad. But one hit Feirce. And once again he was blown back. But he just got up like nothing happened. “What’s going on!? How come you are barely affected by my bombs?!” DrBanxon didn’t know it, but Feirce was using spells to protect him from the bombs. “Easy, fool. The Shield Charm.” He said this with a slight sneer. That’s was the last straw for Banxon. “THAT’S IT! I’M SICK OF YOU!” He took out more and more bombs and threw them all at Feirce, but they didn’t hurt him at all. Feirce had an evil smile on his face the whole time, while hundreds of bombs hit his invisible shield. Then DrBanxon disappeared. And reappeared. Right behind Feirce. But he didn’t even notice, on account of him laughing crazily. But he did notice that the bombs weren’t hitting him anymore. He also noticed the bombs that DrBanxon were pouring down his throat. “Stop… it…” He couldn’t really speak correctly with the bombs in his mouth. Then he swallowed them. “Aaarrggg!” DrBanxon was pleased with himself. But Feirce raised his wand with one hand, his other hand clutching his stomach. “O… Obli…” He seemed unable to speak. “What are you…?” “OBLIVIATE!” A flash of light hit DrBanxon and he fell to the ground. He felt like someone just opened his head and someone was pulling memories from his mind. He was in terrible pain. Then he heard the explosion. But he soon forgot that there was an explosion. He soon forgot where he was. Who he was. It was all a blur. What is happening to me…? |
