Chapter 1: Amy

“AMY!!!!” I screamed to my sister. Through she came dragging her feet.
“Don’t wanna go to silly school!!!” she murmured. Amy was 5 years old. She was starting school that day. I was now basically her mommy; as mom had died in child birth 5 years ago, and her dad doesn’t even know he’s one. I am now 21, my name is Lilith, but my friends call me Lil. I had an interesting time of it when I was 16, I saved a friend from almost-certain death, she would have been killed by her sister, and thought we’d lost the star Susie Banks when Kath’s sister Marie shot her. We later found that an old man, who was a star, had shot in front and taken the hit. Susie survived and found us a while later. She now lives with me, having lost her dad and mom and turned to trying to earn a living by singing which didn’t work out. My best friend Ally is in collage, as is my friend Kath. Susie is 17 now, earning her keep AND going to school. I’ve been left looking after everyone. No collage for me. Max, my boyfriend, is in collage and I recently found out that he had met another girl, who had stolen his heart and broken mine.
“Quit being such a BABY!” I yelled
“NO!”
“YES!”
Sigh, this happens no matter where we are going. But this time it’s school … and worse!
I held her top open and made it easy for her to dive into. Amy crossed her arms and pouted. I lost my patients.
“AMY LYANA McClaren!!! GET IN YOUR CLOTHES NOW!!!” I screamed
Amy blinked, “Ok…” she said diving into her top.
I sighed, looking forward to a quiet day in, all alone, maybe have a couple of friends around, maybe not. HA! Like that would happen to me!
I walked Amy to school, and Susie walked with us. We walked past the highschool and Susie left, walking in and being greeted by her gang of friends. I smiled and continued walking. Before dropping Amy off at her school Amy yelled and screamed about not wanting to go.
“Amy! You are going to school, whether it is the last thing I do! Go in! Make friends! Do what you want … but GO to school!” I demanded. The next thing I knew a teacher came out.
“I saw you having trouble,” she said taking Amy’s arm, “but then again teenage mothers always do!” she turned around her long pointy nose in the air and started to stride off.
“I am NOT a mother! Amy Lyana McClaren is my SISTER!!” I screamed at her before turning and running off.

Sorry it's so short, but I AM working on chapter two. I suggest you read Missing before you read this, though you can read them as single stories.

Chapter 2: Return of An Old Enemy

I went home and looked about me. My life is boring; I had ironing, washing, cleaning, shopping, sewing and other things to do. By the time this was done I’d have to go to my job and clean, wash, sew, iron and come home. Then I’d pick up Amy and hell would break loose.
Oh well, mom said that I am to look after Amy, and look after Amy I will!
I grabbed the ironing and started the house work. Then I went to work 3 hours later.
I walked in, dumping my papers by my desk I took of my cardigan and sat down. “MCCLAREN!!!” came a yell from my boss’s office. I walked out of my office and into his.
“Yes, boss?” I said quietly.
“You are 5 minutes late!! Miss lunch today!” said Mr George
“Yes boss” I turned around and left the room, walking into my office.

***** *****

I picked up my emails and found a work opportunity. It paid £5,000 a day, though it was only going to take an hour or two. I pulled my clothes out of my bag and put them on. I read the instructions and took note. “Tail John Moor starting at the Hansford Mansion. Take note of the places he goes. Stay away from him. Do not let him think you are following him. You know what to do when you find evidence. ” I sighed putting on the clothes and leaving the office. “Where are you going McClaren?” demanded my boss.
“Job” was the only word I said.
I left and got in the car. I drove 1 mile before I arrived at the mansion. I parked and waited nearby.
A few minutes later a man emerged from the building. I watched him walk to his limousine and get in. A minute later the limo drove off.
I started the car, pushing down on the accelerator and zooming off towards his car. I tailed him for 2 miles before he got to a train station. He got on a train and I followed, keeping my distance at all times. I boarded the train without a ticket. “Excuse me” said a guard walking over, “Where’s your ticket?”.
I opened a small pouch and took out my I.D.. “Sergeant Lilith McClaren – I work for the police, and I’m tailing a passenger. Let me aboard or I’ll take this up with my boss.” I said calmly.
The guard snatched my I.D. and read what it said; “Whatever” he said tossing it back to me, “I have to make a living you know.”
I handed him a $5 note, “Happy? I’ve paid for my ticket, now leave me alone”
He nodded and walked away.

***** *****

An hour later the train stopped, and Moor got off. I followed.
He called for a taxi and I did too, I told the driver to follow the taxi and he did. Moor stopped at a disused pub and went in. I wrote down the address and followed him in. Once inside I saw a big entrance hall and stairs upwards. It was a C.I.A. building. I walked up to the desk and flashed my I.D. at the receptionist. “What is Mr. John Moor doing here?” I asked.
“He works here,” giggled the receptionist, stupidly, “he works under cover!!”
I nodded, noting it down without the blond bimbo effect. “Thank you” I said leaving the building.
I got into a taxi and drove back to my car. I got in and drove back to work, where I reported what I’d seen and heard.

***** *****

I finished work and went home, where I did my jobs. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, I put down the hot iron and answered it. It was Kath. “KATH!” I exclaimed.
“No” said Kath, “I’m not Kath”
I stared at her, she looked like Kath but – “Marie!” I exclaimed backing away.
“You put me in gaol,” she said drawing a knife from her belt and running it down her fingers, “I’m here for revenge”…………………

-----

I'll get the next chapter out soon. Thanks for the comments to my ONE FAITHFUL READER -.-

Yay another chapter!!! Oh, and sorry for the rubbish title xP

Chapter 3: She went home alone.

I felt the blade cutting through my throat in my imagination and decided that wasn’t going to happen. I turned and ran as fast as I could; throwing things behind me at Marie. She threw the knife at me its blade cutting my top as it missed me by a millimetre. I gasped and ran into the basement. “You won’t get away” said Marie walking towards me. I dived down the stone steps and into the basement. I picked up a full can and threw it at her head; it hit her – temporarily dazing her.
I dashed up the steps and back into the kitchen. I tried to open the door, but Marie had sealed it. I screamed banging it with all my body weight and crying out. I suddenly saw the iron and had an idea.
I ran to Marie and screamed at her. She threw the knife. It missed me by a whisker. But now Marie was unarmed.
I grabbed the iron wielding it in front of me, “I’ve got an iron! And I’m not afraid to use it!!” I laughed, as Marie walked forward.
The iron started to steam. The heat coming off it was immense. “Leave now or I’ll press this against your skin” I said.
Marie made to walk forward then thought better of it. She turned and left slamming the door behind her.
I put down the iron and walked into the lounge where I sat and cried. I thought moving to the USA would save us from being found by Marie. How had she tracked us? Somehow she did – and now my family wasn’t safe.
I locked all the doors and the windows before continuing my work. A few minutes later rain started pouring down, “Flaming June” I muttered bad temperedly.

***** *****

A couple of hours later there was someone hammering at the door. I had only just sat down to watch some TV. I stood up and looked through the peephole in the door. Stood, drenched, in the pouring rain, was Susie, dressed in a long purple dress that wasn’t modest.
I opened the door and dragged her in, locking the door behind her. She looked around her at all the locked windows and the locked doors.
“What the hell were you doing?!” I screamed, “You’re half undressed and in the pouring rain!! Why didn’t you call?”
Susie looked at me, “I didn’t think it would rain,” she said, “it was so nice when I left the dance”. Susie hugged herself then walked into the kitchen.
“Why are all the windows and doors locked?” she asked.
I sighed, “Marie has found us” I said, simply.
Susie clasped her hands over her mouth and gasped, “Tell me you are kidding!” she cried out.
“I’m not,” I said sadly, “I think we need to run”.
Susie shook her head, “No,” she said, “I’m in love. I can’t leave” with that she ran to her room and left me alone.

***** *****

I sat in the lounge, staring at the clock. It was 11pm. I sighed standing up and putting on my coat. Amy was coming out of school late today, and I decided to arrive early. I left the house, taking the keys so Susie couldn’t get out. I walked to the school and stood by the gates. Though I had tried to arrive early, I actually arrived 10 minutes late.
I waited, and waited until a teacher came out, “Excuse me, has Amy come out yet?” I asked.
“Why yes, she walked off home,” said the teacher.
“And you LET her?” I demanded, fear creeping into my eyes.
“Why, she’s 5 years old you know!”
“Too young!!” I turned and ran back home, scared for Amy’s safty…

You like? Post if you do o.o otherwise I won't be able to post more chapters without double posting. I don't have two acounts like some people -doesn't mention names-
