My OC - Ideas?

So, I just took an updated Litmas test and scored a 19, which is:

"15-20 Borderline character. Characters in this range are potential MS's, who can go either way dependent on the author's skill."

That worries me. :/ I'd rather not be in that catagory. So, I'll explain my OC and maybe you all can tell me what would and would not be interesting? ^_^'

I'll do this in as short a description as possible.
Her name is Hina (loosely translated as Of Fire). I see Riku, Kairi, and Sora as 3 of the 4 elements.
Sora means sky = Wind
Kairi (roughly) means water = Water
Riku (roughly) means land = Earth
Fire is the fourth element, so that's where Hina comes in.
In an effort to make Kingdom Hearts come more to life, Hina comes from our world, which I have dubbed another demension (seemed wierd to me to consider our world as "another world" with the other worlds of KH are in animation and we're not XD). She's weak when it comes to fighting and becomes a heartless once or twice. My reasoning was because I want her to annoy the crap out of readers. That way, they appreciate it more when she becomes stronger. Don't get me wrong, she will NEVER be as strong as Riku or Sora, but she'll be strong enough to handle herself (she can defeat heartless, but not much bigger enemies). She does have magical ability (fire), but she's not exceptional at it. Really, she's not exceptional at anything. She's a bit scruffy looking, an ordinary type of person.
*ahem* Anyway. King Mickey gives her a weapon (not a Keyblade, haven't decided exactly what kind of weapon to give her) and Merlin teaches her the fire magic so that she can defend herself, at the very least (because she can't find her way back to her dimension, and because she has never fought before, she doesn't have a weapon).
She does have a nobody, Kasei, who becomes friends with Namine (in my fanfic, Kairi became a heartless for a short time, as the enemy was targeting the weakest of the 4 main characters, and Hina and Kairi fit the bill). I had this thought that was triggered by Replica Riku; Namine has the power to create and rearrange memories, why not someone who creates living dolls? These dolls have no minds, no hearts, nothing, just empty shells. Namine would fill those shells, and they could use their abilities together to try and fight the main enemy (which I have yet to decide on because I want the enemy to be a canon character that's not Sephiroth).

I forgot to add this. XD Hina, as unoriginal as it is, is love interest to *gulp* Riku. Reason why is because I'm a hopeless romantic and it bothers me when someone doesn't have a primary love interest. ^^' However, Kingdom Hearts never did revolve around romance, so the HinaxRiku thing is hardly ever touched upon in my fanfic. Every once in a while, you might see a small snippet (holding hands and small stuff like that), but it's not important to the primary plot. Riku treats her no different than he does Sora and Kairi. He loves Sora, Kairi, and Hina equally, he just loves Hina in a different way.
Neither of them ever admit their feelings, it's never noticed by other characters, it's extremely gradual (he doesn't even like her at first, and even when he does like her, she tends to annoy him a lot), and it's never elaberated upon.
Sorry for the long descript on the edit. >_<; I didn't want to see like one of those annoying, obsessive fangirls, so I wanted to explain it properly.

I believe that's it. I would really appreciate some advice on what to X out. =) I don't want my character to be another crappy Mary Sue.
