my hopeful hollow bastion story in BBS

Not sure if this one's already been covered yet but what the heck. I'm really hoping we get to see some back story on hollow bastion in BBS, more so with the FF characters. For example, the events that lead Squall to change his name to Leon, what drove Ansem's students to continue with their experiments (if it gets that far), and maybe even why Cloud decides to wrap his buster sword up in bandages! You could even introduce Zack in there if we're talking about a prequel! Just picture Zack training Cloud or something. Zack's character design could maybe always wear some kind of bandage wrapped around his arm. Then the hearless attack and Zack makes Cloud stay behind while he goes off to handle them. The hearltess turn out to be too much for Zack and he gets killed, leaving behind the buster sword and the bandage hanging off of it fluttering in the wind. Cloud finds it, wraps up the sword and carries on Zack's dreams.........wow, just noticed that i made a fan fic there. Anyway! lemme know what you think. hoping for the best!

Ya had me, then ya lost me. The FF characters are Cameo only, there is no need to explore their backstory any further than what has already beed said.

Since all that you've said takes place at the very end/after BBS, it may not be in there.
However, I do hope they show cutscenes on what Ansem's up to.

Perhaps they'll show Hallow Bastion being taken over by Maleficent and Xemnas and the others being created at the very end.

It was his preferred name in FFVIII, and that trend has been carried over for the FF fans to notice.

That was just for design, there's no real story behind it. And if there is history behind it there isn't much significance either way.

What would be the point of that? Honestly? What would be the purpose of a bandage when you have Zack's weapon at your disposal?

BBS takes place before the rein of the heartless so no. You could say the unbirths which is a new enemy of the series.

If there are any FF characters in BBS, they would have to be a lot more younger than they are in KH1, so I don't think that much background can be told. I don't even think its necessary. Tidus would be like 4, Leon would be like 10 or something like that. Either way, they would have to be really young characters or FF characters that are old in KH1. Which was almost none. I actually don't think there were.

The only exception is if they are FF characters that haven't appeared before.

Actually Leon is around 25 during KH1 and 26 in KH2 (years time) and HB was attacked 9 years prior to KH1. So around the time of BBS he'd be about 15-16 maybe? And yes that much is true.

Master Xehanort and Maleficent are causing chaos in the worlds seeking people of pure hearts by which Terra, Aqua and Ventus do not know the identities of these people or the power of these hearts. They go to Ansem the Wise, a famous scientist and the ruler of the Radiant Garden, for hopes of learning more of these pure hearts.

so just to clear some things up. Yes, i know that the FF characters are just cameos and yes i know that the timeline is a little off (not by much though) but i don't think the whole thing is an incredibly bad idea. you wouldn't even really have to do the whole thing in HB maybe in some other world.
I do however need to apologize about the heartless though, they're totally not in BBS. That was my bad.
I also already knew that Squall changed his name for a reason and yes i already knew that that was his originally intended name for FF8 etc. etc. (trust me i've done my homework). I'm still just a pretty diehard FF fan what can i say.
Do appreciate all the input though, thanks for being dedicated KH peeps!
