Corrupt File: Alito Mayer

[Crash!]

Ah, this is just a test drive (or whatever you want to call it) for my sucky writing ability...
This was just made up like three weeks ago so just give me all the criticism you have.

Prologue: 00x1

“Is this really him?”

A shadowed figure turned and let out a small sigh. Next to him, stood an armored man. With a good assumption, his head stretched up to seven feet. The different colors that showed on the large monitor, shined off of the man’s metal as if it was made out of mirrors. The shadowed figure handed the man a small heavy file containing many out-of-order papers. Flipping through papers, he finally came to one in particular. He gently set the large file down while taking out a green piece of paper.

“It says here, that he’s a blood descendant from Battle himself. Does he know yet?” The armored man asked evenly.

“The boy’s only fifteen; I doubt he has the slightest idea of what he is capable of.”
“So what do we do with him?”
“That will be settled after his…transcendence.” The shadowed man showed a slight grin when the said his last word.

“Alito!” a young girl’s voice called out to him. Alito had been lying out in the ocean water for at least half the day. He could hear the small footsteps racing toward the beach.

Alito rose from the clear water and raised his hand over his head. The glow of the sunset reflected off the jet black, darkness of Alito’s hair. The water seemed to mirror his eyes as the tide softly swayed his body back and forth. A smile lit up his face as he turned to see who was racing toward him. His younger sister of three years was holding a large towel that nearly tripped her as she ran. Alito made his way out of the water, only to be knocked back down by his sister’s weight in his arms.

“Couldn’t you have slowed down a bit, Rae?” He asked.

“Uh, no?” she answered with a smile, “Mom says you need to come home now.”

Once Rae eased up off her brother, she threw the towel in his face playfully. Alito looked up to see her face that seemed to shine by the glow of her emerald eyes. A few minutes, later they made their way to the dirt road that led them home. The road was shaded by the trees and sunflowers on both sides. And when the wind blew, it made the walk feel even more peaceful.

“Alito,” Rae started. Although it sounded as if she was hesitant with her words, “don’t you think that when…” She looked up at the orange sky and stared off without even completing her sentence.

Alito snapped his fingers in front of her face to grab her attention, “Anyone ever tell you that you think way too much?”

“So? You say it as if it’s not a good thing!” Rae started to skip ahead while Alito carelessly meandered on the road. Suddenly, a small glint of light caught Alito’s eye. The light seemed to be far off into the distance, beyond the tall grass. His curiosity got the best of him and he started to inch over to the light. A moment later, he could hear Rae’s voice call out to him, but he blocked all sound out completely. The wind started to pick up and the sky darkened with haste. Strange clouds gathered overhead and gradually made a twisting motion like a small tornado. Alito held his forearm up to shade his eyes from the flying debris.

Finally, he reached a small hilltop. What seemed to be the small light, happened to be a fairly large mirror. Although, the mirror was about fifty percent transparent in its appearance. It stood about twelve feet tall and six feet wide. Alito blinked two hard times to see if his eyes were not playing tricks on him.

Stay your place Alito Mayer…
Heed my words before you die for the first time…

“What!? Where’s that voice coming from? Where are you!” Alito unknowingly turned a 360 to locate the strange voice.

You will find out in time…
Now as of your fate. You will enter a world far more advanced and parallel to yours…
There you should find out who you really are…
What your purpose is…
You, Alito, are the son of the Sword of Crossout. You are the son of Battle Mayer…
As is your younger sibling, Realien Mayer...

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Alito said to the sky calmly. “I already know who I am. And my fate? I get to decide that, not you.”

A cold hand grabbed Alito’s which caused him to immediately look behind him. His sister, Rae, stared coldly into his eyes. “Alito? What are you doing up here? This place seems uneasy.” She cautiously looked at the mirror which shadowed over them both.

“Yeah, we should leave. There’s about to be a storm anyway.” Alito eyed the sky and turned to walk away.

Pity. Force seems to be the only option for you Alito Mayer. You will have to die in this world.

Just then two armored giants stepped out from the mirror. Ripples were shown as they left the mirror.

Alito jumped back and kept Rae behind him with his left arm. The giants carried large blades the size of their own bodies. Both warriors wore a bronze metal plate which had an intricate design of an eagle engraved on it. Their legs were protected by silver plates of metal that also had the same design on it. They also wore masks that only revealed their blood-red eyes.

“How the hell—?” Alito was cut off by a massive swing of one of the giant’s blade. It was lucky that he was able to dodge the attack, for he had to push Rae the opposite way of himself. Training by himself daily was about to show how much he improved since two years ago.

[Crash!]

01x1- The Angel

The eyes of the sentinels locked on Alito. He had already regained his balance by the time the giant was able to heave another blow. This time, Alito dodged backward to give him room to run up the edge of the blade. The earth around the contact point was completely destroyed and sent flying debris everywhere. Reaching the warrior’s hilt, Alito sent a forceful roundhouse kick to his head. The giant reeled for a short second, then countered with a horizontal slash. While the first giant swung his blade, the second followed with a vertical swing behind Alito. Both attacks were easily evaded with a simple bend of the back and a side step.

“Alright, no more screwing around!” Alito shot his fist for one of the giant’s helmet but was stopped immediately. His fist was caught in the massive glove of the giant. Alito let out a sharp yell as the giant started to crush the bones in his hand. Rae covered her ears and felt her brother’s energy being quickly depleted.

There is no reason to hasten your death…

The giant tossed Alito in the air by his hand and jumped after him, fists loaded. Several loud punches could be heard from a mile away. A devastating blow to Alito’s stomach caused his eyes to lose their color. The giant then, caught Alito by his hand and swung him back down to earth. Like a rag doll, his body made an immense impact with the ground. His body lay motionless across the hilltop. Heavy footsteps made their way over to Rae. Not knowing what was going on, Rae looked up to see two towers shading over her. “A-Alito!” Looking over toward her brother’s defeated body, her eyes widened with fear. Raindrops hit her face only to hide her tears. One giant raised his blade over his head ready to strike down.

“Disgusting, right?” Alito heard himself say. He opened his eyes only to be found in a realm of white, nothingness. He himself up onto his feet only to be startled by his own face staring at no less that ten feet. The ‘Other’ Alito wore a pure white garb. His shirt was fish netted with a trench coat shading over his whole body. His short, black hair had transformed into a blinding shoulder length, white color and a white scarf shading the bottom half of his face. The color in his eyes were completely gone. Baggy cargo shorts covered his legs. Although, the new clothes were completely tattered up with scratches and holes in them.

“Are you…me?” Alito asked taking a step forward.
“I could be. But then again, I could not. It’s your choice Alito.” The heavenly figure folded his arms.
“What are you saying?”

The clone quickly disappeared from Alito’s sight. One wouldn’t be able to tell it he went left of right. He looked around to find the clone and failed in the short search.

“I’m saying this.” The clone appeared behind of Alito, arms still folded. “Don’t ever leave these arms holding nothing.” Alito quickly jumped back, obviously startled. The clone held out his right hand. Several bolts of electricity surrounded his hand in a twisting motion. Then, the light show started to get smaller and smaller until one could hardly tell there was a hint of light. Suddenly, and explosion of energy emerged from the warrior’s hand. A blade of unbelievable proportions was being held by the clone. Its long white blade gave off a yellowish glow, with sparks of electricity binding it. Alito’s jaw dropped wide open as the warrior placed the angelic blade over his shoulder. “So, Lord Mayer, do you accept the latent power that is instilled in you?”

A moment of silence passed as Alito was still getting over the fact that the clone had summoned a blade, made out of pure light and electricity. A quick transition fixed his face. “If it is only way to stop these brutes from completely killing me and Rae, then yes.” Alito took small steps toward his counterpart and grasped the blade from his hands. An impulse of energy vaulted through Alito’s whole body. A white aura outlined Alito’s figure as he closed his eyes and took on the form of his clone. As the appearance took shape his counterpart started to fade.

“Oh, and Lord Mayer, when you take on this form…you’re already dead.”

A flash back to reality caused Alito to barely have tome to react to the situation at hand. From a distance he could see his Rae about to be wiped from this world to the next. The blade came down hard making a slight ripple in the ground. Within less of a second, blood splattered onto the ground. Although, it wasn’t Rae’s it was Alito’s. He had stopped the blade with his bare hand. Wiping the blood from his face, Alito called onto his blade like his clone earlier demonstrated.

“Heh, I’m not done yet.” A grin shaped across Alito’s face.

Taking hold of the giant’s blade, Alito gripped it with such force that it shattered like glass. After the first demonstration of his new power, Alito charged forward and severed the giant’s head from its body, leaving a pool of blood where the two parts lay. The second giant loaded his blade over his shoulder, and sent a devastating slash toward Alito. Reaching across his body, Alito stopped the blade in its tracks, making an impact that would cause people in a mile’s radius to lose balance. After the defensive maneuver, he sprang forward and slashed the giant’s right arm clean off. The arm and sword both fell to the ground disbursing into a shadowy cloud. The giant turned and looked at Alito with vengeful eyes. The grin had not left Alito’s face since the beginning of the slaughter. Grasping Rae under his other arm, the giant made his way toward the mirror.

“Alito!” Rae screamed for her life as she started kicking and unsuccessfully causing damage.

Alito vaulted his blade toward the giant’s other arm but barely chipped his armor. Unfortunately, the giant already made its way through the mirror.

Congratulations Alito Mayer…
You have made your transcendence into a Celestial Fighter…
Now you just need to learn how to control you power Alito Mayer…

“I don’t need to learn anything! You have my sister! Just…Just what do you want from me!?” Alito yelled dimming down to his human state.

That you will know if you find your sister…

“Damn you.” Alito sprinted toward the mirror and dived through the mirror…
