They have "Titles".
Codenames like "Killzone" or "Marauder".
For like special missions where they can't even say their "X" names.

Leaping Cheetah seems too much.

I got the idea from Def Jam: Fight for NY where some of the Rappers in the game have different names.
Busta Rhymes had "Magic"
Fat Joe was "Crack"
Snoop Dogg was "Crow"
But, that was because they were treated as different people.
In fact, all the Rappers and Hip-Hop Performers were treated as different people.
I'm sure Lil' Kim could never jump high enough to hit Redman on the back of the head with the ball of her foot while he's standing up. Haha.

I haven't thought too much about it, though.
Their codenames probably have to do something with the element from the main story.
Dragon or something Dragon-Ish for Ojex ("Dragon" or something...)
Something serpent-ish for Dax ("Poison", "Acid", "Fang"...)
Ugh.
I know. Not very creative names for them. I haven't been thinking too much about them though because I've been busy.
I was thinking of Killzone for Rex.
It has the punch, but it doesn't fit him.

Sunshine - Lorixssa lol
Crunk - Delacroi-UNNK
Doc - Banxon lulz

When I get home, I'll probably think more thoroughly about it.

I thought about "Berserk" for Zaverxi.
But, it doesn't have anything "Sound" or "Musical" to it.
I kinda wanted that.
But, oh well. I guess I'll figure it out when I have some time to myself.

I love Cacophony.
But it doesn't give the "Modern-Gang"-ish punch.

I don't know if it's a name a vigilante would have.
It depends, though.

I love Sonic, too.
I prefer it more than Cacophony, but it's not supposed to be about what I like.
It's supposed to be about the readers.
So. I guess we'll see.

I still need help with other things and all that, though.
Names, Famous References... whatever.

in order for the Exiled to have codenames they'd need to have a reason to hide their X names which are already hiding their original names. So there would have to be an enemy that would be after their names in order to expose them to some general audience. I just don't see that happening to the Exiled. now there might be exceptions here and there but if i'm right then there really isn't any need for a codename is there? But in all fairness it does sound fun to create codenames it's just irrelivent to make them.

Yeah, I'm still trying to find a good reason to have the codenames.
X names hide their real names.
But, then everyone would know them by their X name depending on who they are.
Rex has been going by "Rex" for a long time and only some people know that his name is Terry.
So, yeah. Codenames might not work out unless something else or whatever.
Some forces would actually track down people using their X-name AND real name. I'm sure it's been done before.
Codenames are a "Just-in-case" thing.

the codenames work for like spy and war things. so we could look into that area. but honestly i think only those in specific departments would need or should have codenames. or perhaps the more important/leader of departments should have codenames as they are the most important.

AO is scared of angry posts :(

But anyways, I was looking at some Gears 2 stuff today, and was thinking how they're taking the fight to the locusts.

Then, somehow, I thought about the exiled, and how they're always getting attacked. and I was wondering if the exiled would ever attack anyone. Of course, that party would have to attack the exiled first, but it seems plausible that the exiled would attack groups that attacked them as a means of survival.

But ya that's all I got. peace niggz.

Last time I checked waiting patiently didn't involve snapping on Knightflare just because he was talking about a concept for a spin off that we've known he's been primarily working on for a couple months now.
Again not personally attacking you or "calling you out" just stating the facts. You're the one that started it by commenting on his idea which you openly stated way back when he told us about it, that you didn't want any part of it.

True we're all waiting for people to finish their sections, but that's no need for hostility.

I do agree with NobodyImportant however, that we need to get a conference going sometime in the near future to discuss what direction we should be taking the Exiled in next as far as what's to be accomplished next.

Several of us bragged about how fast we got our sections written out yet most of us have yet to see them. The point I'm trying to make is things are starting to "peter out" in a manner of speaking and it's high time we get the ball rolling again. As long as we keep moving at a steady pace, even if it isn't as fast as some would like, the fact remains that we can still get a decent amount of work down and that's less work we'd have to do in the long run.
