here's the kaarix and rextanse recruitment scene.

“Man, how did I get stuck on patrol duty?” Rextanse thought aloud, sighing in exasperation. “Why don’t we have the new guy do it?” Rextanse chuckled to himself. He knew why the new recruit wasn’t on patrol duty. The others felt he was untrustworthy. But Rextanse knew. He knew all about the new guy - Charxai? Yes, that was his name - and knew that he could be trusted. Unfortunately, he didn’t share the knowledge that only he knew with others, and so here he was, a god of nobodies, patrolling the grounds like a common soldier.

A soft noise, so quiet Rextanse almost missed it, sounded in the distance. Peering around a building, Rextanse identified the noise as the padding of a large gray wolf, slowly trotting up to a wall. Just then, the wolf seemed to shimmer, and an attractive woman stood in its place.

“Hello there.” Rextanse greeted, walking out from behind his hiding place. Startled, the woman shimmered and reappeared as the wolf.


“What do you want?” The wolf asked, cautiously eyeing the figure before her.

“Just to talk to someone like myself.” Rextanse replied, “And a name would be nice as well.” he added with a smile.

Reemerging from the wolf, the woman stood, slightly more relaxed. “Someone like. . . yourself? What’s that supposed to mean?”

“I’d love to tell you, but it’s hard for me to have a conversation with someone whose name I don’t even know.” Rextanse teased with a smile.

“Oh yeah, I forgot,” The woman mumbled, blushing, “Kaarix. My name’s Kaarix.”

“Pleased to meet you, Kaarix. Mine’s Rextanse.” Rextanse waited for a reply, and then after an awkward pause, continued, “Oh yeah, a have to answer your question, now that we’re on a first name basis and all.” He smiled, and Kaarix returned the favor. “We’re both nobodies, you and I. No emotions, no nothing. But you already knew that, right?”

“Yes, yes I did. But I didn’t know there was anyone else out there like me. I thought I was alone in this struggle. But now I know I’m not. . . Does this mean there are others like us?” Kaarix sighed, and leaned up against a nearby wall, looking expectantly at Rextanse for an answer.

“Actually, there’s a group of us.” Rextanse replied, placing his arm on the same wall Kaarix had taken respite on. “We all just found a place to settle down at. I know that I would like to have a larger group, and I’m sure the others would as well. You can come along if you’d like.” Rextanse explained, hopeful Kaarix would provide the answer he knew she would.

“Well, I might stick around for awhile.” The silver-haired woman replied, shimmering back into the form of a wolf. “Its not like I have anything better to do.” And with that, she took off, running in the direction of the Exiled’s castle, Rextanse striding behind her, a grin plainly visible on his face.

AO - hmm i find it hard to constructively criticize your writing. it may be perhaps that i am not familiar with Kaarix and that i rarely come into contact and therefore do not know Rextanse very well.

i just wrote the basics of the recruitment, and i had to end it somehow. we can always change the ending when we are putting everything together.

but do you have any ideas as to how i can do this?

Another rainy, dark day in The World That Never Was. The constant hiss of rain falling is the only sound as the drops of rain hurl themselves down from the heavens. Raindrops, seen as merely flickers barely seen in the neon lights that light up small patches, are all that move.

For now.

A faint sound, the scuff of a foot on the gritty ground of an alleyway, and a pair of glowing yellow eyes appear, peering warily around. There is a sharp, sudden whistling sound, and it explodes into black wisps.

Leaping down from the top of one of the neon signs is a black-cloaked, hooded figure, nondescript but armed with clawed gauntlets glowing red in the fitful light of the sign. A quick motion doffs the hood, and he pulls out waist-length black-tipped, blue-green hair, patting it down. Drops of rain hit him, and cat-slitted blue eyes glare upwards. Abruptly, the rain starts sheering away from him as he starts emitting a high-pitched wave of sound that gradually climbs the register to beyond human hearing.

"Finally! You really need to make ya'self easier to find, mate, or I'd have to actually try to find you."

At the sound of the voice, the long-haired man whirls around, gauntlets flashing. "Who the hell are you? And what makes you think I want to be found?" he snarls, glowering at the new person who just materialized out of a dark portal. "Go away. I don't want to be bothered." with a sudden leap into the air, he bounces off the side of a building, using that as a springboard to gain the roof of an opposite building. Landing catlike in a crouch, he slowly stands up, turning to face the stranger who had somehow gotten there first. "I told you, leave me alone!"

"Well, if you want me to leave you alone, I wouldn't be able to tell you about our little Order. My name's Rextanse, but Rex is good if you want." the stranger tells him with a serious expression. Then, he abruptly grins broadly. "Your name can be Zaverxi. I've known about you for a while and I've been keeping an eye out to see if I can catch you by any chance. Well, not catch. But, meet you, I guess." he continues to smile, and Zaverxi narrows his eyes.

"I don't want to join your little knitting circle. I'll tell you one last time. Leave. Me. ALONE."

As he says the last word, he amplifies it, causing all the buildings around him to shudder from the sheer sound. The building beneath them sways back and forth, with rather alarming cracking sounds from far below.

"Shaky. Well, if you put it that way, then how about a deal? You know? A fair one. Let's see. If you beat me in a battle, then I'll let you have your way and I'll leave you alone. But, if I beat yo-"

Zaverxi interrupts his words, attacking as soon as the word 'alone' is said. He slashes forward with his gauntlets, causing razor-sharp needles of sound to attack Rextanse, who blocks with his hand.

"Tsk tsk tsk. That's rude, you know! I wasn't finished ta-"

Rextanse has to dodge this next attack, since Zaverxi dives after him with his clawed gauntlets aiming for the other's face. Undeterred, Zaverxi slashes at him again, emitting a loud shriek of sound intended to rupture ear drums. A third shrieking slash is aimed specifically at Rextanse's chest, which of course misses since he doesn't have a heart to explode.

"I guess you accept this little deal, mate. All right, have it your way." Zaverxi lunges for Rextanse again, who dodges the swipe. Spinning around, he ends up on Zaverxi's right then grabs his head and slams the back of it into the ground, knocking Zaverxi out cold. "Well, that's that!" he says cheerfully to the unconscious Zaverxi, then picks him up and hauls him through a portal.

Hay everyone.
Here to dump some information on what I'm currently doing.

First off, I'm here to dump off some pictures.

From earliest to latest
-Kaarix-
This design is different from the other one I made a while ago.
It's actually for the "Sexy Collection" I was making. I think everyone remembers me saying that I was going to do that.
So, I'm working on it very slowly. I posted this because after the "Spin-off" thing, the remaining characters try to live normally without having the government trying to bother them. Kaarix becomes a teacher. At night, she helps Rex in his musical career. She stops being a dancer. :[

A quick sketch of Rex. I'm still trying to to figure out what tattoos he should have. (I'm getting closer to figuring out what I want)

-Salix, Dr. Banxon, and X-
Another quick picture.
These are not permanent designs as I am still deciding on something for everyone.
It was originally going to be a picture of Banxina by ~Edomni on deviantART from my own original story.
But, it turned into Banxon and I was like, "Well, why the hell not?"
Salix was going to be Charxai (Or Charx for short in the story) and X was going to be a planned design of Toxit.
I decided that they wouldn't fit and so I went with other characters.

-Design of Rex and Jynx-
After I drew a full-body pic of Rex, I wanted to put someone on the other side of the paper since I left it really spaced.
I threw in Jynx. Although, I couldn't remember his exact design that PA told me, as I actually drew this away from home.
I kept the dreads, though. They're just really hard to tell that they're dreads. But, he has normal bangs. To keep his "Jynx"-ness.
Jynx with JUST dreads doesn't look like a Jynx. I wanted to keep his long sides. Haha.

That's all for the pictures.
And now I want to talk about something else.

I have A LOT of stuff to talk about the Alternate Exiled Story, but I have a party to go to and I'll just talk about something else that doesn't take as much time.

It has vocals in it! But, it's only an acapella of another song. Haha.
But, I think it's the best song I've made so far.

My musical career thing has slowed down. But, I'm doing what I can.
But, here's something I'm trying to do.

I got into Electro Dancing about more than 2-3 months ago and I fell in love with it.
It's so fun to do with friends and at parties and it's a great work-out!
I know, the dance seems sort of queer, but it's actually pretty fun to do.
But, what I'm planning to do is introducing my county of Polk County to music that everyone here is not that familiar with.
Many people here stick to one part of things but nobody likes to do new things!
It's either JUST HIP HOP, or JUST ROCK, or JUST POP.
But, look at Europe! Electro House is actually a combination of Electronica-House-Techno with a Hip-Hop style and it originated in Europe.



Trying to get the Tecktonik brand into America. :D

So far, I've been doing great with this "Introduction to Non-Familiar Music" thing and I see a lot of stuff changing around here.
But, I'm not going to stop right there.
I've been doing a lot. Really.
But, yeah. I don't have any more time to talk.

It's nice posting back in the forums again.
I'm thinking of coming back and ACTUALLY posting.

Ok everybody, I have finished Ruxel's recruitment. I want Knighflare and RPG, to make sure their characters act how they should and RPG, to look at the section where I describe ONE OF THE WAYS that Xana uses her element.
Also, here are my proposed chapter titles. Which ones do you all like? and see if you catch on to what they mean.

withotu further ado, here is Ruxel's recruitment....

Xana jerked her head left and noticed a garden in the distance.
Xana eyed the rest of the group and asked, “Do you mind if I…”
“Sure go ahead,” Rextanse interrupted, knowing what Xana was going to ask. “Just let me come with you.” Xana, without hesitation, took off toward the garden in the distance.
“Yea Rex, we could use a little break,” Xowlin said, “I mean, we just escaped and now we are trying to find people. Lets break for a little. Charxai, Kaarix and myself will just chill here for a bit. Keep an eye on her will ya?”
“Of course man, that is why I am going,” Rextanse smiled at Xowlin and then started walking toward the garden.
It would seem the garden only be a 2-minute walk or so, but sometimes your eyes make you see things differently, and for some reason, The World That Never Was made your depth perception funky. The garden was really there, just further away then what you would expect.
Xana, out of breath and her hands on her knees, finally reached the garden. In the garden there were flowers of all kinds. Red roses, blue violets, yellow dandelions, it was such a diverse group of flowers. Xana walked into the garden and then got down on her knees to look at the flowers. Then, she started asking questions.
“Why would a garden be here, in the middle of this…..place? Whatever this place is, it is no home for a garden.”

He darted through the building alleyways, like a cat. He couldn’t jump high or far, but he could do it quietly. He moved swiftly and quietly and not disturbing anything. Not the rats on the ground or birds on the fences stood a chance. Any spec of life, he would get rid of, he would just raise his hand, and poof, the plant or animal would die before your eyes. Why he did this was a mystery. A mystery that would soon unravel, and it starts with finding a garden.

As he appeared around a building corner, he noticed a garden. In the garden he noticed a figure wearing a cloak , on their knees looking at the flowers. The man, wearing a sleeveless black tee and camo pants, raised his hand. All the flowers in the garden shriveled up and died, just like that, in a span of 3 seconds. He did not want to kill a person, unless they got in his way. And the figure on the ground was not in his way.
“What?” Xana asked her self, “Hmm, these flowers just died, weird.” Xana concentrated on the flowers only. She held her hands out, palms out, facing the flowers. There was no aura or barrier around the garden and flowers. Nor were there any type of shield or barricade around the garden and flowers. It was like magic just watching the garden come back to life. It was not the fact that they came back to life that was so interesting, it was the fact that each flower in the garden reversed its position back to the way each flower originally was. As the flowers came back to life, each one followed the same exact path that it took on its way to death, except reverse. It was as if the garden had gone back through time merely 10 seconds. What also was strange was that only the garden had appeared to gone back in time to its prior state. “There, that’s better,” and Xana smiled.
Having witnessed this event, the man became confused. Thinking to himself, he wandered if this figure in the garden did this. He shook the thought off and held his hand out again. 3 seconds later, the flowers died, again.
“WHAT?!” Xana asked puzzled. Once again she held out her hand, and once again, the flowers in the garden seemed to reverse back to their original position.
The figure, now slightly frustrated, held up his hands again, and once again, after 3 seconds, death.
“What is going on?” Xana asked herself as she held out her hands again and watched the flowers all come back to life.
The figure decided to go approach this person in the garden..
“(SHRIEK!),” Xana shrieked. Rextanse, still walking toward the garden saw Xana in the distance before hearing the shriek. He ran over toward her as quickly as quicksand. When Rextanse reached Xana, she was scooting backwards away from the figure that had approached her.
“Hey pal, back off!” Rextanse jumped in front of Xana, summoning his giant sword. “Get behind me Xana,” and he motioned his one hand backwards. Xana quickly got up and scurried behind Rextanse, grabbing him from behind. “What do you want pal?” Rextanse said in a stern voice, readying his sword for a fight.
“Her, the girl,” and the figure pointed toward Xana, “did she bring these flowers back to life?”
Xana remained quiet.
“Look pal, if you want to deal with her, your gonna have to go through me first.”
“Do you really think I want to fight a kid like you. You must be mistaken. Put your guard down man. You are not worth a fight.”
Rextanse looked over his shoulder to which Xana was perched. Her face just spelled ‘I’m scared’. “Just back off ok pal?”
“Don’t call me your pal. You don’t know me.” The man walked closer to Rextanse and Xana. Rextanse just stood there and kept his sword up. The man just kept walking and eventually, there was only the sword length distance, vertically between Rextanse and the man.
“REX!” Xana cried.
“You think I am afraid of you?” Rextanse shouted confidently, staring into the eyes of this man.
The man shoved both of them to the side, Rextanse dropped his sword, and the man started walking forward. “I have no time for this. I need to find someone. So unless you are that person I am looking for, don’t bother.
“I am.” Rextanse said affirmatively.
“What are you doing, Rex? We have nothing to do with this guy.” Xana whispered.
The man stopped in his tracks and turned back around.
“Now I got your attention,” Rextanse said with a half-ass sarcastic smile.
Ruxel did one of those quick walks back toward Rextanse and Xana, summoning his 2 long swords. Xana ran behind a building, fearful of her life. “You must really love jokes, huh kid,” The man said with a stern look, on his face, staring into the unfearful eyes of Rextanse, with their foreheads touching.
“The truth is,” Rextanse started, taking a step back from the man so their foreheads were no longer touching, “Xana and I, we are kind of looking for someone to. Well, not someone, more like something, an identity or so to speak.”
The man turned back around, “If you are asking me to walk along beside you forget about it. I’m 35 years……Look, I don’t need to hang on around a kid like you and your girlfriend.” The man started walking away again.
“You’re just like us, I can sense it.”
The man stopped again and turned back around, “What are you talking about kid?”
“You paused, when you were saying your age.”
“I’m getting old, my memory aint what it used to be.”
“35 aint old.”
“Last chance kid, what do you want?”
“You are a nobody, just like us. A group of us”
“A nobody,” the man started smiling, “ a nobody? You have got to be kidding me.” He started chuckling.
“Crazy? Yes. But I think you can help us. In return, we will help you find whoever you are looking for. I trust you.” Rextanse extended his arm and held out his hand, and waited.
The man started thinking to himself. “Perfect. I can use these kids to get whatever I want. I am older than him and stronger than him and his little pow wow of buddies. I’ll just wait till I find Him, and then break off, leave em all in the dust.”
“Ruxel. I’m Ruxel,” and he walked back toward Rextanse and shook his hand.
“Rextanse. Glad to meet ya.” Rextanse turned his head and shouted, “Hey Xana?! Get out here, its ok. Xana appeared from behind the building corner and slowly walked toward the two men. “Xana, this is Ruxel.”
“Hi,” she said quietly and just kind of raised her hand quickly and put it back down.
Ruxel just watched her for a couple a seconds, for what seemed to be waiting for a hand to shake. “She looks familiar. But where? Maybe it is me just getting old.”
“So you guys ready to go?” Rextanse blurred out breaking the awkward silence.
“Yea, I am just about ready to get outta here,” and Ruxel broke from his fixated stare.
“Let me introduce you to the rest of the crew.” Rextanse said. The 3 of them started walking back down the way Rextanse and Xana had already come down.

Hate. One of the worst words you can think of. It's enough to say you dislike someone, but to hate someone is much worse. You need to feel pure anger toward someone to hate them. Even then, hate still might not be the correct word to use. But hate is what I felt toward Hiroshi Corina.

Hiroshi was no cliché bully. He beat me up left and right up until the day of the attack. When the bad guys came, I was fighting to protect myself and my father. What did he fight for? He fought to impress. He wanted to be the hero of the town. He wanted everyone to look up to him as strongest in all the land. During the attack, I fought throughout the town, chasing enemies around. Soon enough, I ended up right next to Hiroshi, fighting just like he was. Out of nowhere, he lifted his leg and kicked my back. I flew forward into a pile of heartless, and he ran off.

I managed to kill that pile of heartless, but it was a struggle. The bastard tried to kill me! I was on his side this time but he still tried to kill me! The attack waged on and I kept fighting. Eventually, I saw Hiroshi again. He saw me from a distance and took off running. I followed pursuit. I was going to kill him if it was the last thing I did before I died.....

The idea of hate was eminent now. The war was over now, my father was
dead. I had to go find his killer. I hated everyone and everything now. Hiroshi and whoever attacked the town. I had to use any resource I had to get to the bottom of the attack. I also needed to find Hiroshi. My mind was spinning with two conflicting ideas of hate. What do I do now? All I could manage to do was walk.
