Charxai vs. Marluxia: Part 1

Charxai took a deep breath, and prepared to enter the door framed in pink that stood before him.

Wow, I'll never be able to live it down if I lose to this guy. Charxai joked to himself. However, Charxai knew that Marluxia was chosen as the "King" of Castle Oblivion for a reason. Charxai steeled himself one final time, and entered the door.

The sight that greeted his eyes was both strange and exotic. What could only be described as a forest of roses surrounded him. As Charxai started to walk deeper into the jungle in search of Marluxia, he saw what appeared to be giant man-eating plants dotting the landscape. Finally, Charxai spied his opponent seated on top of a 'throne' made of vines.

"So, this is who the rag-tag band of traitors sent after me? Not even a 'high-ranked' member to face the Lord of Castle Oblivion?" Marluxia taunted.

"I guess the decided you were too weak to send anyone of real importance after, so I guess you're just gonna have to deal with me." Charxai replied, playing off the taunt.

"Just so you know," Marluxia started, "You're in my domain now, and I don't expect to just roll over and let you beat me."

"I'm glad to hear it, fighting weaklings is no fun anyways. But enough with the pleasantries, I didn't come here to mince words with you." Charxai said, brandishing Dusk and holding it at the ready. Marluxia stood up, and extended his right arm. A scythe with a pink tinted blade appeared in his hand, and rose petals started to swirl around him.

Marluxia quickly rushed Charxai, and Charxai attempted to dive out of the way, but too late realized that his feet were tightly entangled with vines that extended from a nearby plant. Charxai barely brought his sword up in time to parry a series of attacks from Marluxia. When Marluxia jumped back, preparing to rush Charxai a second time, Charxai quickly froze the vines restraining his feet using the nitrogen naturally found inside of them. In this state, they were very fragile, and Charxai was easily able to jump out of the way of Marluxia's second attack.

"You're gonna have to learn some new tricks!" Charxai shouted down at Marluxia with a smile. Just then, a tree branch swung straight at him catching him off guard and knocking him straight out of the air into the ground. Charxai slowly got to his feet, seeing a smile on Marluxia's face.

He's toying with me! Charxai slowly realized. Charxai then rushed straight at Marluxia, avoiding shockwaves and vines aimed at slowing him down and tripping him up. Charxai finally reached Marluxia, but forced himself to slow his swings down, allowing Marluxia to block them, and hopefully become overconfident. And Marluxia seemed to be doing just that. Knocking Charxai back with a swing from his scythe, Marluxia took on the air of a young child playing with a new toy. Marluxia laced vines into the ground and sent out shockwaves of rose petals to trip Charxai, and laughed maniacally at the scene that unfolded before him. Although it looked as though Marluxia was wearing Charxai out, it was actually the other way around. Charxai had begun to overload the air around Marluxia with nitrogen, making it harder for him to breathe. Charxai had also slowed Marluxia's reaction time down, not enough to be noticeable, but enough to make a difference. Charxai had also removed the nitrogen from the air around him, causing oxygen to flow through his body, making the air he breathed rejuvenate him even more. However, Charxai had been concentrating on this so much that he did not see a vine below him, and tripped and fell straight into the open jaws of one of Marluxia's man-eating plants.

Damn. I'm never going to be able to beat this guy if all of these plants keep getting in the way. Charxai cursed to himself. Just then, an idea struck Charxai, and he cursed himself for not thinking of it earlier.

"Guess your time's up, traitor." Marluxia sneered.

"Huh, you're one to be talking." Charxai retorted as he prepared to use the same technique on Marluxia's jungle as he had used earlier on the vines that had entangled his feet.

"Those are some daring words for someone about to be digested." Marluxia mocking reply rang out.

"Sorry Flower Boy, but I don't plan on being digested anytime soon." Charxai said as Marluxia's forest was altered into a crystalline copse.

Good start but a couple things are off.

1. Organization XIII attacks our base, so Charxai shouldn't have gone searching for Marluxia
2. Marluxia doesn't have man eating plants, neither does he surround himself with plants.
3. As soon as the battle starts Marluxia would have teleported and put the death wish on Charxai making it so he'd die after a certain amount of damage.
4. The only vines Marluxia uses are the one's that surround the enemy and explode after a couple seconds.

Really guys you need to watch the video links i provided for you guys so that the battles actually line up accurately and make sense. Otherwise it will lead to plot holes and leave the reader going "WTF! That's not cannon at all with -insert name here-'s personality/fighting style/move set/etc"



On another note:

I'm going to wait until most of the others have started writing their fights, because Jynx's battle takes place in 2 pts. Maybe 3 I'm not exactly sure yet.
I definitely know it's going to start with Jynx having dreams and Xemnas talking to him in his head trying to sway him in the wrong direction. Then comes the various mental attacks to Jynx's psyche to pt1 of the battle in which Jynx starts learning his abilities but still loses. Then threw various events pt2 of the battle occurs near the end of their attack.

So yeah it'll take place over time leading up to the final battle with OrgXIII attacking.

1. sorry i wrote this before i learned that, i'll change it up tomorrow.
2. & 4. Am I not allowed to refer to the KH: CoM manga? because in that, marluxia has vines all over the place and donald, goofy, and namine get trapped in the man-eating plants. I'll have scans up tomorrow.

You can't use the manga because in the manga they hardly even do any fighting. It's one or two hits at best. Look at the links provided and use those for reference.

I'm not looking at the manga for fighting, but for surroundings. Marluxia did have man eating plants, and I can take away the vine thing, but the overall setting wont change drastically (probly just be an overgrown rose garden).

but if i have to take out the man-eating plants, I will. I'd just like you to see the scans before making a final decision.

edit: and i'd love to join the cloverfield rp, but i dont feel like i'd have enough time =(

As Ojike pointed out they attack us, so Marluxia wouldn't have his little home grown habitat
of plants. Look at the Data and re:COM fight links i provided If you need me to re post them i will. But that's what everything is supposed to be like.

Besides the point, Ojike brought it to my attention that Lexinoth & Sabixel should battle Marluxia seeing as on the list. They are clearly ranked above Charxai and joined after they did. The point of this being how could Charxai even be around to battle Marluxia if the others came before him. OrgXIII attacks when the first 9 join the Exiled. Daxic secretly tells Xemnas that their numbers are growing too large and that now is the time to strike. To the point Charxai being around to even participate is being questioned as well.

i am reposting this to make sure people see this and understand the whole exal/axel business
please tell me if it all makes sense now


ok so when each member was recruited, xemnas took a sample of their dna to clone them(so every org 13 member would have had a clone), but, there was a faulty explosion in the lab, all the test subjects were killed, except 3: exal(axel), xias(saix), and xymed(demyx). they suffered reverse effects and became uber-powerful.
now, if you read the prologue that is there, exal learns of axel's existence(he learns before axel "fades away" and he learns of the exiled. these 2 facts will remain the same.
now, at one point, exal finds axel, however, he finds axel at the point of where he "fades away" in kh2. when the nobodies fade away, the "mist" that is left fades up.exal reaches that mist before it is gone completely, and so axel's "essence" becomes a part of exal.
when he is freed by ruxel in the battle, axel's "essence"(like a faded body) appear and explain the reverse orders motives and says "but there is still a greater power that looms". the exiled thing he is referring to daxic, who has betrayed by then. but he is referring to trinity, who at one point during the reverse orders lives, come across and work for(which will be partially explained in the new prologue i have to write).
so the change is its not axel that was trapped inside exal. it is axel's essence(the mist stuff) that is trapped in exal. the reason axel knows all the information about exal and reverse order is because he was essentially apart of them and heard and saw everything through the eyes of exal
