| Shut Up and Explode | That really is quite cheesy. Though, have you helped someone lately? |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | Emotional difficulties. Mainly what I help people with is dealing with relationships. Quite ironic, really. What should be done, what shouldn't, and in general making people feel better when they're down. I have an uncanny ability for that last one, it seems. =D |

| Shut Up and Explode | I kinda try to do that occasionally myself. Well, actually, I've really only done that for like, two or so people, but I'd gladly offer my opinions to anyone else who wants them. Not sure if they'd like what I have to say though. |

| Leaving So Soon? | Alexx | No longer having such a nice time says (5:28 PM): Apparantly, my friend Nicole's mom, who is on the school board or something like that, wants to put condoms in the bathrooms at prom. Richie [GO SPEED RACER!] says (5:28 PM): I'm not suprised. Alexx | No longer having such a nice time says (5:28 PM): Quite the double edged sword. Richie [GO SPEED RACER!] says (5:28 PM): lol innuendo Alexx | No longer having such a nice time says (5:29 PM): Protection and encouragement al--- ha! Very nice. Richie [GO SPEED RACER!] says (5:29 PM): I may sound somewhat prudent for saying this, but honestly, I think schools should encourage abstinancy. Alexx | No longer having such a nice time says (5:30 PM): A lot do, but the teenagers don't care. Richie [GO SPEED RACER!] says (5:30 PM): Teenagers, most of the time, are too young and immature to know what they're getting themselves into. Raging horomoes control thoughts more than logic and what make sense. *hormones Alexx | No longer having such a nice time says (5:30 PM): But it's the cool thing to defy authority. Richie [GO SPEED RACER!] says (5:30 PM): Cool =/= smart Alexx | No longer having such a nice time says (5:31 PM): And quite frankly, like you said, none of them think far enough ahead of time to think about consequences. Live in the moment and **** whatever comes later. Richie [GO SPEED RACER!] says (5:31 PM): Again, nice pun Alexx | No longer having such a nice time says (5:31 PM): It comes naturally. Alexx | No longer having such a nice time says (5:32 PM): Now, if that were spoken, I've have yet another pun. Richie [GO SPEED RACER!] says (5:32 PM): Omg. i need to quote this or something. Alexx | No longer having such a nice time says (5:32 PM): I was just thinking that, actually. Richie [GO SPEED RACER!] says (5:32 PM): Great minds think alike. |

| Shut Up and Explode | Prom was a bust, more or less. It all started out pretty good though. I arrived at the school parking lot at about 3:30 or so and we (Aaron, Rachel, Dillan, Lisa, Katie, Kristin, Jeremy, Sammi and myself) stood around for a bit as our parents embarrassed us taking pictures. Then we got in the limo (the main source of all the fun) and headed to the San Gabriel Park in Georgetown where we were going to meet up with Bobbie Shae and her boyfriend Jacob for more pictures, but the driver made a quick stop at a gas station outside of our town to use the bathroom. Thing is though, the limo driver had no idea where he was going, even though Aaron gave him directions beforehand. Maybe it's just me, but isn't it a driver's job to familiarize himself with the area prior to taking his passengers? Instead, we were on the phone with him a good deal of the time, trying to figure out where to go as he kept missing the right exits and such. After we went to the park, we went all the way up to Austin to eat at Trulucks; very fancy, very expensive. Unfortunately, Aaron's parents made the reservations there without really consulting everyone. Why is this bad? Trulucks is a seafood restaurant, known mostly for it's crab. I am horribly allergic to any kind of shellfish, as my friend Beau and I learned on a school field in 8th grade in the bathroom of a UT dorm on the coast. I got the Mixed Grill from my limited menu and replaced the shrimp with another piece of chicken, so hunching over a toilet afterward was pretty much a non-issue. Since we had some time to kill, we thought we might go to the mall to look around for a bit. We finished eating and waited outside as Aaron called the driver. He said he would be there in five minutes; we waited for at least thirty or forty. His excuse was that he had to stop to get some gas. So much for shopping >_> Anyway, once he finally got there, we headed back to Georgetown to go to prom. Just before we got to Sun City (mini-city in Georgetown where prom was) the driver decided to pull over on the side of the road without telling us, walked behind the limo and started taking a piss on the road. I guess he felt bad for taking up our time relieving himself in front of us, so when he got back in, according to some of the girls, he ran two red lights to gets us there sooner. I myself couldn't see shit outside since it was so dark and the windows were very tinted, but I do not doubt that happened at all. We finally got to prom and met up with more of our friends there, talked about how good everyone looked and all that. I did end up dancing some, but not as much as part of me had hoped to. I'm just too awkward to stay on the dance floor for too long. I got enough courage to try dancing with Danielle, but again, I really don't know how to dance, so I felt like a retard as she attempted to teach me. I think she stopped dancing with me without saying anything before that song even ended, which was a bit of a punch in the gut, but whatever. She and Tyler tore up the dance floor pretty much all night without tire, so I was like "lol I give up. The gay guy can have her >:" I did take part in a conga line, a group riverdance and Cotton-Eyed Joe once and the Electric Slide twice, making a bit of a fool of myself each time, but it was pretty fun. I made a CD the night before with some songs I thought would be good for some slower dances, since that is about all I can do, comprised of Eisley, Muse and Feist. After a while, I took the disk up to the DJ and asked him to play "Just Like We Do," and he said he would. I went to tell Danielle and asked her if I may dance with her once they played it, since I wanted at least one good dance with her that night, and she said she would. I waited a loooooong time as many other songs were played, so after I got tired of waiting, I went back up to the DJ and he told me that their CD player couldn't play my CD. So much for my plans :/ We ended up staying at prom a lot longer than I would have expected us to. Rachel left with our friend Catherine and Dillan had his brother pick him up. I'll say this now: they made the right choice. Once once the rest of us decided to go, Aaron called the limo to come pick us up, but the driver didn't answer. I think once the night was over Aaron said he tried calling him eight times before we heard from someone. The limo finally got there and stopped. Then we noticed that our driver was asleep in the passenger seat and his trainee was the one driving us now. Aaron put the new driver on the phone with his mom, but he apparently hung up on her! Needless to say we were uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure Kristin said that there was one point where he took his hands off the wheel and started driving in the middle of the road. We got a hold of the owner of the limo company and told her about the situation and got some interesting information. Turns out, there are not supposed to be two people in the car. The guy who we thought was some "trainee" was not even employed by the company, although he did have a license. The actual driver, who had slurred speech according to Katie, got on the phone and once he finished talking, started driving us again! Yeah uh...that's not exactly good. After we all started getting uncomfortable enough about having two f*cktards endangering our lives, Aaron convinced the driver to pull over and we just all got out. Honestly, I think we could have waited a bit longer to find a better place to stop, as we were on the highway, so we got to run the risk of getting hit by oncoming vehicles as we stand on the road, or we got to stand in a dark ditch with God knows what in it. Fun stuff, let me tell you. After a while of everyone calling everyone else, Kristin's parents got there and were not too happy. Aaron told us that the company had sent another limo to come pick us up, but I think we all agreed that we had our fill of them already. Aaron's dad arrived later and after a bit, we all loaded up in his Durango (except for Katie who went with Kristin and her family) and headed home. Poor Freddie, who joined us in the limo after prom, only got to see all the worst of the situation. Along the way back home to Florence, Aaron remembered that he left the ten dollar fancy glass bottle of water and his leftover cake in the limo. Once we got back to the school parking lot, he also realized that he left all his keys in the limo as well. Luckily, he left his truck unlocked and had a spare key in it. I got a ride home with him and he and Jeremy came over to my house to play Brawl for a while, which arguably may have been one of the highest points of the night. But on the way to my house, Aaron told me that the owner of the limo company had called the police about the limo, which was long gone and no one knew where it was! I sure picked a great night to try to stop being a total introvert, didn't I? tl;dr read first sentence EDIT: Forgot to add that we are not going to be paying for that limo at all, and rightfully so. What's worse is that he feels like crap for the whole limo fiasco even though it is far from his fault. He had everything planned out great, but the f*cking drivers had to ruin the night. Given my current state of melancholy boredom, I need to change to see if I can make anything better. | |
