I could never go to a horror movie with a guy. I wouldn't be scared. I'd be laughing. And then I'd see him looking all disappointed that I am not clinging to him, and then I'd bury my face in his leather jacket, just to make him happy. And then I'd just laugh and say, "I am no good at pretending to be scared, but I will make out with you through the rest of this crappy horror film".

...Is it odd at all that I might like this better?

How is this movie not a tearjerker, yet "just enough to get her tears going"? And yes...Southern Belles are the best. Hands down.

Making out during crappy movies is the best. I recommend it to all. Just make sure the girl is not too into the film. Evil Ex and I were watching X-Men: First Class and he was trying to make out with me and I was just annoyed. I was too into the movie and he is not Michael Fassbender (the actor who played Erik/Magneto) nor is he some weird real-life version of Magneto. But after the credits...bow chica wow wow! lol

In a theater, it's dark, no one is paying attention to me. At home, my mom and her little spy (Kyle) are always lurking. ALWAYS. So, I've found movies to be a safer bet. But I get what you're saying.
