Why?: Ansem is the first villain in the Kingdom Hearts Series. With the best Voice Actor in the series, the talented Billy Zane who sadly did not continue his role. Richard Epcar was the replacement and does a good job, but not as good as Billy Zane. Forze del male and Guardando nel buio are also insanely cool themes. And the most important reason: He has a evil laugh.
And lets not forget his loving pet-

Who is he?: In truth, he is the heartless of Xehanort, the former apprentice to the true Ansem the Wise. Xehanort ripped out his heart in pursuit of power and lost his body. His heartless was the result (as was his nobody, Xemnas but we're not here to talk about him). He possessed Riku 10 years later and tried to plunge the world into darkness. He was defeated by Sora and the light of Kingdom Hearts but he still lived on in Riku's heart. He tried to take him over again multiple times in Castle Oblivion and managed to kill Lexaeus but was defeated by Riku. He was most likely destroyed in KHII by the explosion of Ansem's machine.
