Well, personally, I don't doubt she'll be pushing them on from the sidelines or having a great effect indirectly, like before. (I don't mind that, actually. She can't fight directly, but still does what she can. <3)

However, I'm also pretty sure that she will eventually get a keyblade, because of all the hints, and her desire to help more directly.

What I'd like to see, really, is, while she stays home to hold down the fort, Destiny Islands is attacked and she teams up with Selphie, Wakka, and Tidus to defeat the threat and return order. A great chance to develop her skills, some Kairi/Selphie friendship, see more of Destiny Islands, and still keeps her home, so there's no contrived way to get off, and she stays mature enough to understand Sora wants to go on his adventures without her. Oh, and then Pluto comes and takes her on a magical adventure! :D

I'd also like her to meet Minnie. Not only for the training that she could get in light magic, either. Because they'd have a lot in common that they could talk about, too. I think it's be cool if they had to work together to save Mickey and Sora. :P

It'd also be awesome if she went around and dug up some information in some worlds, like in the old mansion or castle oblivion.

This is what I was hoping the BBSv2 video alluded to, which is a great way to be more involved and useful without having to be combat capable.

Speaking of SoraXKairi, I'm hoping for more clear relations between Kairi and other characters, too. After all, friendship and heart is what it's all about, no?

J/k, but I really do want to see Kairi become a more active character in the story. I like how she's shown to be plucky and impulsive at times and sometimes she says things that could be taken the wrong way (the whole "let's take the raft and go" comes to mind). It makes her different from the other KH girls we've seen so far, who are more reserved (except Larxene, obviously). I'd love it if Aqua got to train her, but I'd also like to see Kairi struggling on her own for a bit. Like, have her trying to wield the Keyblade, but it doesn't always work for her and she doesn't know how to summon it at will, because Aqua never really completed the Rite of Succession with her. And then later, Aqua could complete it properly with her and help her get her own Keyblade. That way, Kairi doesn't suddenly evolve from the Stay-At-Home-Girl into this unrealistically perfect, tough-as-nails Action Girl.

I'd love to see some Kairi/Namine friendship, or Kairi/Olette friendship. And definitely more Riku/Kairi friendship because we haven't really gotten enough of it yet.

Hi, I popped in last June and left a message here. I don't know if you all remember, but I just wanted to say keep up the great work with the Kairi Fan-club! It's by far the best fan-club, being the most recent in a long line of successors to the original Kairi Fan-club, which was the very first fan-club on this site! So stay awesome ya'll, don't forget your heritage, and keep loving Kairi! =D

Also, I stumbled across this if anyone is interested. It is the second iteration of the Kairi Fan-Club, which was made in January of 2006, and had over 800 pages! A piece of Kairi history!
