It really wasn't. I would've MUCH rather stayed with my friends watching horribly lame movies....

2012 was pretty much your average, lame, Disney-esque action movie. Divorced family, kids mostly hate the one parent they're stuck with, random action-y crap happens, suddenly the kids love their parent!, tragic shit happens, some people nearly die but don't, and... get this... THE WORLD DOESN'T REALLY FREAKING END! WTF!
