Well, at least you are still able to get in touch with her. I have a close friend I have not spoken with in 4 years. Every bit of communication, no matter how big or small, is vital in keeping any kind of relationship alive, whether it be a friendship or a serious one. Please do not take this the wrong way. It was not meant to be a mean remark. I am just saying you are very fortunate to be in contact with the person.
