Question, what exactly does prompt mean? I heard of it for the first time when I read about it in the last competition. Its when you state what story it should be and all the details and everything, right?

Prompt is the requirements to how the entrant should write their fic. Guide lines if you will. It can include things such as subject, what to base it on, maybe even use a word so and so many times.
