So I've read about a third of Against the Day, and I'm trying to read Gravity's Rainbow now. They're pretty different from anything else I've ever read, it's really dense and difficult to figure out what the hell is happening. Despite that, they're interesting and I plan on finishing at least Gravity's Rainbow.

Has anyone else read anything of his? And if so, what do you think of him?

---Quote---
The plot follows the interweaving paths of the three central characters (Llewelyn Moss, Anton Chigurh, and Ed Tom Bell) set in motion by events related to a drug deal gone bad near the Mexican-American border in southwest Texas in Terrell County.
---End Quote---
I just finished this again today, and it was excellent. Something about the atmosphere that the story creates is just really interesting, and unlike mostly anything I've read before.

Anyone else?

I'm shocked and appalled there isn't already a thread for these great books. Kids these days... you wouldn't have your terrible knock off wanna be "vampires" in the Twilight series if it wasn't for The Vampire Chronicles! Anyone here a fan? 10 nerd points if you recognized my user name by the way.
Saw the Interview With The Vampire movie and fell in love, then had to read the book. Then read the sequels and it's been an addiction ever since. I think I've read through the entire series at least two of three times, and some of the books more than that.
First person after me to mention that abortion of a film called Queen Of The Damned gets e-punched in the throat. Unless it is hate speech, then go ahead!
Lestat is my hero. Discuss.
